Ray does a great job and his price can’t be beat around here. When we moved to Terrell, I had trouble finding a groomer accepting new clients. While searching, I came across Ray and haven’t tried anyone else since. The dogs come out looking and smelling great! He even encourages me to bring the dogs in between grooming visits so that he can trim their nails for free because long nails on a dog can cause them to have back problems. He genuinely cares about your dog’s health and well-being.

We found this baby stuck just crouched down scared to death beside the trash on 4101 CR in Kaufman what a awful person to do this.My husband pulled over got out and was just heartbroken almost in tears I said take her no hesitation it was natural for meI wasn't sure my next move but all I knew was I'm keeping this baby at 8am I called Ray I have never been there and he said bring her he would help me she was covered in fleas and had ticks .I took her in and Ray took excellent care of her I'm so grateful for this groomer and I will start taken my other two there as well .Thank you for the fast response without a qppt and me being a 1st time customer shows how much you love & care for these sweet fur babies .I defiantly want a person like you taken care of my babies! Thank you so much for taken us in on such short notice I'm very impressed and I will be back with Poopsie Gixmo & now our new addition Healer❤ 😍 💖3 mo later she's so BIG just got her nails cut / grinded.THANKS TO HOT DOG GROOMERS! Absolutely love this place! I have taken my dogs to numerous places over the years but these guys are fantastic. Every time I drop my dog off they asked what I want done and make suggestions to ensure I get what I want. I have noticed that my fur baby doesn't mind getting groomed any more because of how great they are with her. I can't speak highly enough about this place.

Great staff and awesome owner! They were so patient and kind to my five Shih Tzu's. My dogs are not used to being groomed by strangers so I was pleasantly surprised at how great they looked. I would definitely return. I was able to make an appointment over the phone. I dropped them off at 8 am and they were all ready a bit after 5 pm.

If you have a pet, this is the only place to go! Not only are they the best at grooming , they are so friendly and will work with you on appointment times! I moved out of town (hour away) and still go to them. Trustworthy, friendly, knowledgeable on all aspects of your pet.

I've been taking my dogs there for about 5 years. The woman that owns it is nice and does a good job. The man that works there isn't very welcoming and acts like he really can't be bothered. They need better help. I have 4 dogs that only needed their nails cut so I called there at noon to let them know we were coming in case they decided to close early again, but they said NO. They wanted me to wait until the next week, and bring them on 2 different days as they can only do 2 of them a day? What? That's extremely inconvenient. So much for customer service. They say walk-ins are welcome but it's not the case anymore. The hours of business are supposed to be open until 5:00. So about a month ago I went on a Friday afternoon with all 4 dogs loaded up in my car and the door was locked. The man opened the door a crack and said they were closing after their last appt, so they turned me away at 3:30. I've shown up there several times during business hours and the door is locked, lights are off. No sign on the door.Last year I would have given them 5 stars but they have let me down too many times now.

Excellent customer service and your dogs/pets receive the loving care from the employees that you give them at home. In other words, your pets are treated as if they are owned by the employees! We love Mr. Ray because he is honest, straight forward and he makes sure your babies receive excellent care...home away from home care! ❤️

I have 2-big dogs and 1-medium size and the owners work hard to make sure my boys are taken care of. I am one that my dogs can feel when I am nervous and that’s my fault and I try to not be but my medium dog slipped out of his collar when I was walking him in and all I could see was him running into the street and getting hit. Ever since that happen at no fault of the Groomer/owner, I get nervous getting them out of the car, it’s not easy for me due to my health problems physically but they allow me to drive up to the door and they come out and help me and that just means the world to me!!! They love my dogs like their own just as I see them do the same with other dog owners fur babies. I live in rural Kaufman and it’s worth that drive to drop them off and pick them up and the price is very reasonable and makes taking them all 3 in for grooming head to toe. I Thank you for for such great service been going to them for going on 2 yrs.

The proprietors are some of the kindest, most considerate people that I've had the pleasure of meeting and having a business relationship with. They are truly there for the benefit of your dog, and not out to make an easy buck by price gouging you on the basic care everyone should be able to provide for their pets. They are great with my dogs, and my dogs have always been calm and trusting in their very capable hands. I'm on a very small, fixed income, and their pricing simply CANNOT BE BEAT. Honestly, I believe that Ms. Baker ought to be canonized as the patron saint of dogs (or chiweenies, at the very least), lol. Really, the amount of glowing praise I have for these people is almost without limit, so I'll stop here.I highly recommend making them your first and only choice of groomer for your furry family members. You will not be disappointed!

These ladies are so sweet & professional. They groom my son's pit & they cut my mix breed dog's nails today. They did a wonderful job. I will let them groom her again when she needs it. I'm 100% satisfied with the nail trim. Great job.

The owners of Hot Dogs Grooming, Brenda and Ray, have my dog's best interest at heart. I love them for that. They have shared with me pet care knowledge for Bella's benefit. Hot Dogs Grooming, in Terrell, gives the best grooming service for my 17 yr. old cockapoo who sometimes has special needs. There is a friendly atmosphere at Hot Dogs Grooming. I experience it and so does my dog.

I was very pleased today with the service I received. The two ladies that were there were very nice and efficient. I had a vet appt that I couldn't move and they were able to get my babies bathed and nails. My big baby is a sweet heart but he is a ball of energy and very strong. They were great with him. We will be back again.

Hot dogs is a wonderful place & amazing staff!! I brought my 7month old German shepherd who is terrified of water & small places. The first time I brought him bath time was a no go (which I figured) but the owner & staff was so sweet, caring, helpful! They told me to bring him back in a few days to try a again to give him a bath so I waited until Friday took him back, after a few tricks and the owner calling her husband in to help my baby got a bath & dried!! Words can not say how happy I am that he got bath but words really can’t say how thankful, caring the staff is to not give up on a tuff client! This place is AMAZING,NICE,CARING!! They always put the Animals & the animals safety first! Will continue to bring my baby’s to them!

This was my puppers first visit to this groomer and won't be the last. The groomer we previously used was booked for over a month, glad we gave this one a try!! Satisfied with the professional services they provide. I made appointments for my other 2 dogs as well as his next appointment!! The only downside is it my boy was there for 5 hours (they are a very busy shop)! Friendly staff!

The Owner blocked my phone never returned any of messages when I tried to make an appointment then when I called from another phone to address the problem he hangs up and never tried to return the call. I guess my dog was to aggressive. The owner needs a new Occupation clearly taking care of dogs is not his passion and neither is his employee’s . My dog has been her serval times. So sad…

I brought my Chihuahua in for a nail trim. It was only $5, best in town. And she took her within a few minutes and was done quickly too! I was very happy with the kindness and quickness of their service! Will definitely be coming back!💕🐕

I walked in through the door and the first thing i was told about my dogs were " what the hell are those" and as he asked how we wanted their haircuts i litterly took a second to think and he said " you need to wake up and know what you want before coming up here " . Horrible service . DONT COME HERE!!!! People are very unprofessional. And ruse and seem to not care about your pet .

If I could put no stars for this grooming salon and the owner I would! Before I start I would like to say on several occasions she has been terribly rude to my mom and I almost every time we went into her salon! So now on to why you can’t trust the owner with your dog in her care rather it’s at her salon or in her care period! The owner Brenda Baker took advantage of the fact that I need to do long term boarding while I was in the process of moving, she told me she was licensed to board animals(which I later found out that she is not licensed to board!) I then dropped my sweet Bailey (my dog) to her and then proceeds to give her everything that bailey needed since that was our agreement that I would provide baileys health care, and vet bills! November through January I provided food, supplies food bowls, dog house, water buckets and vet bills such as heartworm treatments, grooming, and anything else bailey may have needed. Come January I went to give Brenda a 30lb bag of the dog food she requested I give Bailey, she then refused to take it and told me that I was a horrible pet owner and even proceeded to verbally and physically assault me, so I had to leave her property and my dog. 4 months later I had to go to court and pay her $610.00 to get my dog back when this woman pretty much stole my dog from me. Come to find out when I had took my dog to the veterinarian, the doctor had informed me that my dog had shown signs of abuses and also noticed that she had a large place on her neck that looked like she had a collar on way to tight and that she also was not bathed, her nails were over grown, also her sides were shaved off too short. My poor bailey is terribly afraid of loud noises, and of water;which she had never been afraid of either one of those things! So I do not recommend leaving your dog at her shop nor her home! DO NOT TRUST THIS WOMAN WITH YOUR FURBABIES!

I wouldn't recommend this place. HOSTILE AND AGGRESIVEWent in to get my dogs nails trimmed, the old man with gray hair that works there took my dogs and was very rough. I decided to leave because I can see my dogs were uncomfortable and he tried to upcharge me, I said screw you, he grabbed me by my shirt, punched me and decided to fight me. The lady that owns the place got into the fight and they both started to push me out of the door. VERY AGGRESIVE BEHAVIOR WOULD NOT RECCOMEND
