The store was neat and clean. Found what I needed, which is usually the case at DG...BUT I got to the self-check, and it was not working properly. This seems to be an issue at several of their locations. It is "hit or miss". Hopefully they will get the bugs worked out because the line tends to be long and slow at some locations. This particular store had a friendly clerk who took care of me quickly.

Walked in the store 2 employees including manager actually went through the camera because a black man used self checkout remind you there is a store full of white people and not one time did they check to see if the white people needed help nor to see if they were stealing I walk up to check out and one begins to walk off but turns around and checks me out. I actually told them I heard they conversation and I will be reporting them both! Looking at color is the worst thing a person can do! I won’t be back in there for a while😩

This place is full of an AMAZING staff. The manager goes WAY above and beyond to help out her customers how ever needed. She is absolutely amazing. Definitely deserves a raise. Always kind and helpful. Always a great atmosphere and The only dollar store I ever go to. The store is super easy to navigate and organized. I HATED dollar generals before this one. But it is absolutely great.

It's not too bad of a store. The cashiers are always for the most part really nice. the only thing is they rarely have more than one cashier and when half the town is in the store with one cashier, it could take a good bit of time to get out of there.

This is a fairly new store. It looked like they were doing a new "mod" setup. Moving items around and bringing in new. I guess getting ready for spring and summer items to come in. This was my first time in this particular store and the associates were very friendly and helpful. Plus they had a ton of already clearance priced merchandise and was taking an additional 50% off everything at the register. They had some great deals going on.

Same as usual rude people shop there. Seriously folks why take your shifty day out on the person that's ringing up your merchandise. Maybe if some customers had to work at a dollar store they would in turn be a little polite. Besides I don't want to hear your foul mouth and attitude.

I just went there earlier this evening on my way home, I was sort of in a hurry so I went to the self checkout. I grabbed my stuff and zoomed out because I was on my way to get my husband from work. I somehow left behind 2 bulbs that you can connect to your phone and change the colors and the receipt with the other items I purchased is in that bag. The number to contact them doesn't work either. So I couldn't even let them know. -.- just over $10 down the drain..

Since the opening of the Dollar General, its made living in Elmo so much easier. Forgot something while in town grocery shopping.. no problem head to the Dollar General. The staff is friendly. Now if they could just get the folks at Reddy Ice to fix the ice machine..

Really nice cashiers, they get 5 stars. Dont have much on shelves at all, empty fridges, tons of boxes ready for shelving...seems severely understaffed.

My boyfriend bought a few things here and forgot one of his bags at the register. He tried calling about it but they didn't know what happened to it. It was only around 5 dollars worth of merchandise but still they could of reimbursed him or something? He had a recipt and the merchandise never left the store.

The cashiers need to be taught how to use coupons they need to know the definition of the word transaction and the definition of the word purchase how many per purchase on a transaction and they also need to know the Dollar General coupon policy Dollar General house up to 5 like coupon cashiers need to know this
