The disconnect between your app and the store is difficult to overcome. The in-store refusal to check on an order is pretty infuriating as well. What if the app is behind or hasn’t been updated? Plus the fact you don’t carry newer Standlee or Triple Crown products in store ….especially in Temple. I don’t usually bother with giving a negative review but here ya go.

Worst experience ever when it came to calling the store to find out what breeds of chickens I bought over the weekend 🙃 they literally have breed names on the tins and it's on your inventory sheets.... yall don't know what your selling and answer the phone in a rude fashion even hung up when I asked to speak to someone else nicely. Well not buying from here no more ... nope.

Great selection of things for dogs! My dogs love their skunk toy, which is commendable as they aren't toy lovers. Prices are reasonable.

This is a different and unique post. I would like to share with the world about this particular store. I mistakly pulled in the rear of their store with a semi truck and trailer, thinking I could park. I was having a medical emergency last year in the 1st week of December. I am not from Texas and do not at all know the area. That time is actually a blur. I called the store, and they answered, "I asked for a manager." It was 8 am. I was crying badly, apologizing about blocking their back. He said he would be right out. I had been in pain for some quite a long time. The manager's name was Gerald. I was really close to losing all my emotions because I was finally stopped and knew I could now get help. Gerald went WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYY over any expectations I had. He and his co-workers put me at ease for the 2 days my truck was there. I ended up calling 911 and rushed into emergency surgery because my gallbladder was dying. It had already started turning gangrene. All this, of course, was discovered later. But I was in so much pain. Gerald and other co-workers, I hope you all know you will be forever remembered for your kindness. I love all of you. Thanks so much. I still cry today thinking of you all. Thanks. It seems as though any way I word it the review will not be approved. I believe the ad is misleading and falsely advertised as it shows the picture and one price making it appear to be the entire rack for that one price. No where in the ad does it say "SOLD SEPARATELY". Best believe there are other Farm and Ranch retailers I can spend my money with and it surely will never be with Tractor Supply. Always love coming to this tractor supply but today there was a homeless man looking for help at the checkout and the cashier named Gerald instead of blowing the man off helped him while helping customers giving the man options as to where to go to get help and even buying him a bag of chips and a soda. Hassle free return turns out a nightmare. I paid for two mini bikes in cash. They were too small for my kids so the very next day I returned them, or tried to. They told me they didn't have enough cash in the entire store to do so, but told me to return in the evening. I did so, and the manager didn't seem to know anything about the situation(they had the bikes back, i still had no money back). Then I was told again they still didn't have enough cash in the store and they would have to give me a check, which I very reluctantly accepted. Then I was told well we can't write you one, it will be in the mail in 3-5 days. And here it is 5 days later, no check, no refund, and I call the store and am told by manager they have no way of checking the status of my refund. It was well worth the ten minutes of typing this to be able to give you the review you have truly earned. I will never shop at any tractor supply again.

Call store before traveling to the store. Online says they have several items in stock and get to the store and they say they don't have any of that item. sorry way to run a store and not keep up with their inventory any better than that. Will consider shopping elsewhere.

It's a hardware store that sells livestock equipment and feed. The staff at this location are friendly and the store is kept in a orderly and clean manner. On one occasion they were out of an item I needed, I also noticed there were plenty of other items that were not stocked. They should improve their stocking. It's hard to buy things if a store doesn't have them.

Stopped in to have my motorhome's LP gas tank refilled. Talked to an employee within a minute of walking in and was guided on how to approach the LP station with humility and genuine helpfulness despite being an inexperienced first timer. The gentleman who refilled my LP tank was the utmost professional and the cashier was excellent. Would recommend for Class A propane refills. You will need to either pull in or back into the gate after they open it for you due to the location of the fill station, so expect that.

20 min wait time in line on Friday 10:30. I was stuck behind a complex return while someone else waited 1 minute. Management of price stickers falling way behind. Not enough staff? Still, there’s a lot of stuff here you can get nowhere else, so I’ll keep coming. The return policy is generous (don’t ask me how I know). This review is for the Temple Store and not Tractor Supply in general.

You always have to track someone down to get help in there. When you ask them a question about one of their products or if the carry a product, no one seems to know anything. If you do go in to buy something they are always out and cannot tell you when they will receive more. Questioned the store manager about why they never had anything in stock and he gave the run around about how much the store made and that things when they do come in.......sell quick. Then asked why he didn't start making larger orders of items that sold out quick and keep some in back stock, he then blamed it on the computer system and how it operated. This store is 30 min from the Waco distribution facility, it should never be out of anything.

I put a gun safe on layaway, I went back the day before the layaway time period ended to finish up paying for it and they came out and said sorry sir it’s not here. We must of sold it. The closest one that has it is rockdale. Which is an hour away. So guess who drove there to get it. This guy

This store has a high turn over rate of their employees and the new ones seemed not to be trained very well. A cashier girl is usually the one that answers the phone when I called for some info or to see if they had it on stock before making the long driver there. So many times I got put on hold and no one ever answers to help me. The half trained cashier never checks back to see if someone picked up the phone to help me. Sometimes they hire some young jock who acts like a macho muscle man. rough handles and throws my livestock feed onto the truck. I end up with a good percentage of pulverized pellets in the bag that the animals will not eat. Many times I came to the store and there was no manager on site. Store closing time is unpredictable. They flip flop the closing time, sometimes 9pm then change to 8pm and back again. One rainy day I seen the small round bales of hay they sell sitting outside in about 4 inches of water in a low spot in the parking lot. I guess no one there was qualified enough to get the ideal of putting some pallets under them.

It's great place and the kids love to go there. It's hard to go into tractor supply and not buy something. Kind of toy store for farm and garden. Some of the products they sell are not the best quality or price, I usually will compare online to ensure I'm getting what I need.

Poor customer service ! I was rudely kicked out of the store because they opened at 8am and not 7am. I arrived at 0752, the doors were open, there was people in the front. I went picked up my item, but was told I needed to leave immediately and would not be attended until 8am because of corporate policy. There was only 6 minutes left at that point but the assistant manager and cashier forced me outside.

They were very helpful. They helped me find a good deal on a trap the size I needed. Also helped to get one that wasn't bent up. They have feed, electric fencing, tractor and wheelbarrow tires, horse gear and more. I go here for all my ranch needs.

John from the temple store provided the best customer service we have ever received. We had bought an air compressor from another store and it wouldn't fit properly in our truck so we bought a small trailer from tractor supply John helped install the trailer hitch and unload the air compressor from the bed of our truck to place on the trailer. He went above and beyond what we expected and we really appreciate it. The world needs more people like him.

Constantly short handed. No one to open the cabinet for cattle meds. Usually only one cashier. They have a good selection of what you need and fair prices. They just need another employee or two to be able to provide better customer service.

I have been to the store in San Marcus to help when their grocery store burnt down. San Marcus honored a 10% military discount. I have bought clothes, and lawn care products at gatesville and McGregor and received a 10% military discount. I just went to the temple store to buy lawn care products. I did not receive a 10% discount. They said that the tractor supply co. Only honors the military discount on veterans day. This is contradictory to what the 3 other stores have done. Had I not been in a rush I would have returned the product and gone to lowes or home depot and got what I needed with a discount. Therefore I don't believe I will return to tractor supply. Honor, integrity and equality thought all stores should be standard. And please don't play this off like I am an idiot, because I am not. I have 4 college degrees.

I did an online stock check for an item I needed, the store listed the item as having 2 in stock. I went to the store and there was none to be found. Even the store computer system said they had 2 on hand. An employee went to check in the back. After 10 mins or so I then saw him going on break. I asked him if he had any luck and he said no while walking away looking down at his phone. Friendly people when you walk in but horrible customer service. First and last time I’ll be going to this store.

No one to ask for assistance. Only one person on floor and one cashier. Long line for check Out. No one at service desk. Out of ProPlan dog food. Isles were cluttered and cart wouldn't fit down some of them. Made shopping difficult. Had only one kind of fence stretcher and no tamping bars. Pulled around to yard to pick up 4 rolls of barbed wire and waited. Had to call store and still no one came out to let us in. Finally opened gate and loaded fence myself. Tractor supply needs some real competition. Regional manager needs to make a visit.

Came here for Martin houses which they have but no poles. Now I have to go to Waco to get things. Check out line very long with 9 people in line and one cash register open. This store is normally ver very good
