Barking Oaks does a great job at grooming & training my little Bella!In the past we adopted older dogs, but this time we got a puppy. Little did we realized it would be a challenge. We looked everywhere for a training, but it was way out of our budget. Thankfully we found Barking Oaks Resort. Before we had her trained she was starting to be a nuisance.After training at Barking Oaks Resort she’s well behaved and doesn’t do her business inside the house.The people there are great at what they do. I feel very comfortable taking Bella for grooming as well. I let them know exactly what I want & they do it with no issues. She’s smells great when I go pick her up too!My friends ask me where I take her because she smells so clean. When they take their pets they don’t smell as good after grooming.Thank you Barking Oaks Pet Resort!!!!

Always wonderful. They take great care of my dog. Their location is quiet and away from the main roads which I love, and their groomers are excellent. I’ll never board my babies anywhere else.

Brought my fur baby to get Christmas pictures taken and the staff was lovely! Everyone was so nice and took amazing care of my baby , the pictures came out awesome and they have a store in the front and it has so many adorable items ! 10/10 definitely recommend they will treat your babies amazing 🏼

Minnie Mae loves this place! She attends day care and gets groomed here. She loves playing with her friends. The grooming helped us get her hair under control. We were advised on how to get it conditioned well so we didn't have to risk shaving and prevent matting.

When it was time to say goodbye to my best friend Blue, Barking Oaks staff made him feel comfortable and gave him a spa day. Blue had ostiosarcoma and could no longer use his rear leg and they were gentle with him. I'm so grateful to the wonderful staff and owner for the care they provided. I do recommend Barking Oaks for your pets needs.

I called at 4pm to schedule grooming for my two schnauzers. One is a 6 month old puppy and this he his 1st time at a groomer. They told us to come right in and picked up about 7:30pm. They looked so perfect. I was so impressed and a reasonable amount. I highly recommend. They even called to confirm the cut we wanted. Just the best experience.

Just picked up my dogs from boarding again, I do have to say they’re loving it the soonest we hit that little bumpy road to get there, they know where we going and can’t hardly hold in their excitement. We live in Austin and it is an hour drive for me to bring them, but every time I see their excitement I know it is worth it…. they just spend a week there while we were on vacation and it’s not only the doggy hotel ( how I call it) it is truly their home away from home. This is an amazing place to bring your pets for their own vacation while you be on vacation, believe me when I say your pets will love it. Mine surely do and can’t wait for their next vacation. This place is amazing for birding and grooming! They told great care of my puppy when we were gone for a week and they are amazing at grooming him! The staff are extremely kind and helpful people. 10/10 recommend!!!

We boarded 5 of our dogs at Barking Oaks and loved this facility and the staff. I saw how clean it was and that the dogs have private rooms when the owner, Hansy, gave me a tour of the entire facility. All our dogs were happy and well taken care of by Barking Oaks Pet Resort. We will definitely board our dogs there again.

Per recommendation. The first time I called for grooming I as was able to schedule an appointment the same day. When I picked up my Maltese Poodle mixed dog he looked beautiful. I next tried day care and my dog has been loving it! They treat your dog with love and care. They are very professional at Barking Oaks Pet resort.

I have been coming to Barking Oaks for 10 years I owned teacup Yorkies and they do a great job grooming and taking care of them. The last boarding they had was over two weeks and they were super happy to be there. The staff is very friendly and The place is super clean I recommend this place to everyone

Just called to get a price quote and after getting the quote on a bath and nail trim, I asked an additional question and was automatically placed on hold without any warning. That really does leave a bad first impression as far as customer service.If I do try this place for my fur babies, I will update this review, but as for now, the person who answers the phone should practice her phone etiquette.**The response from this business is comical! No, I did not hang up after the price was given. I asked the question after the price was given and was automatically placed on hold. I then hung up and found a better professional business with better phone etiquette. How dare you respond with a blatant lie! Just goes to show how unprofessional your staff and whoever responds to this is.

Barking Oaks is a wonderful place for all your doggies needs. We were so pleased with our dogs training that we decided to do daycare and grooming there as well. Professional and courteous services makes this place stand out from the rest. We love this resort and so does our "Charlie". I recommend Barking Oaks for your pets needs. As a Groomer at Barking Oaks I can say that this is the cleanest and most efficient facility I have worked in. The positive attributes are endless. Not only does everyone work together to give the pets the best experience, they also care for every animal that comes as if they were their own. Personally I get a wide variety of breeds to work on and everyday is a learning experience!

I had made a boarding reservation (regular suite) for my dog for the week of thanksgiving. I booked weeks ahead of time. When I got there to board my dog, I asked to see exactly where my dog would be. As the lady walked me back through the facility, she told me they were over booked and so they put dogs in their “extra space”. She walks me into basically a small garage with 4 large kennels. The kennels were big enough for the dogs to stand and turn comfortably but nothing more, no outside access, no room to walk around and definitely no room to run. I was extremely frustrated as my dog would have been there for an entire week and I was NEVER notified about this. They didn’t even discount the price considering it was literally a large kennel compared to the regular suites that have outside access with a run way. I feel bad for the dogs that were confined in that little space without their owners knowing. I asked for a refund and will not be taking my dog here after this situation.

I absolutely love this place! Our experience has been awesome every time we bring our puppy, Bailey, to them! He has learned so much in the dog training classes and has done a complete 180 degrees on his behavior. He has also learned alot of cute tricks too. They have great grooming as well and always do a great job which is very refreshing considering the not so pleasant experience we had with Petsmart. We have also had a good experience with the boarding too and recommend this place to anyone. We absolutely love the owner, trainer, and entire staff! They are very friendly and welcoming every time we come. And our puppy, Bailey, just loves this place so much that he tinkles every time we drop him off!

I absolutely love this place and my pit bull puppy, Kane simply can't get enough. Barking Oaks is an everything your dog will need type of facility. The people here, will love your dog like their own. My puppy has been training here since he was 3 months old and he listens so well now. The staff is friendly and cared about our needs as new parents to a surprise Christmas gift from a family member to my kids. So we were in total shock and down right nervous of the idea of having a pet. I'm so glad we came here for puppy training!

They are SO responsive and communicative. I left my parents in charge of my furbaby while I was out of town, but he kept escaping and I decided to put him in a boarding place. Being far away it was nerve wrecking because I couldn’t check out the places in person! They were so kind and understanding! They even sent me pictures of how happy he was there. I definitely knew and could feel the vibe that he was being loved and enjoying it. They even helped me put him in the car! Highly recommend.

I had been disappointed with the grooming my now 5 month old miniature poodle 🐩Seemed Gracie Love 💗 just keep looking the same and worse.I finally reached out to Barking Oaks .I was told they had a lady that did onlydoodles and poodles . I took a shy of relief just hearing that.Immediately she showed me her progress.Cheers went out ‼️Gracie Love 💗 looks like new puppy poodle.So Pretty 💗Also Gracie Love 💗 has excepted into the training for service dogs after Christmas.I am so grateful to Hansy (owner) and staff .They were all wonderful

I can honestly not say enough good things about Barking Oaks. My Simon goes to daycare 5 days a week and absolutely loves it! Hanzi and her team are basically like extended family at this point. I have boarded him overnight several times. I was even admitted to the hospital at one point and they went above and beyond to make sure my pup was well taken care of. The facility is super nice already and is now getting a brand new building and renovations to other areas. I will for sure be coming here as long as I’m fortunate enough to have a dog in my life!
