Brookehire's is seriously overpriced here in tatum texas. I can go here and spend almost A guaranteed two dollars more on every item. It's truly a nerve and how much they are overcharging because we are literally in a town where all the small stores do that. I would not recommend you come here unless you need 1 or 2 things.

Your website says the store opens at 7 am on Sunday but when I arrived at your store at 7:40 am your Manager was coming out of the store locking the door, I asked if they were open as the website shows, he said that they open at 8 on Sunday, I said your website says you open at 7....he said he didn't care what it says they open at 8 and walked off....not very good customer service.

If you are desperately in need for an item or two then I would suggest shopping here. Their prices seem to be quite a bit higher being in a small town and the only grocery store I guess they feel like they can do that as if groceries weren’t already expensive enough. But I will go to wal mart if I’m shopping for a lot of groceries because the quality of this stores food and prices are not that great.

This place looks great advertised. However when you go in the store it looks shabby and not as bright as you see in the pictures. Their produce is always expired. The fruits and vegetables are not fresh.

Produce is NOT fresh every time I go, and I go frequently. A lot of things are expired, so be sure to CHECK THE EXPIRATION DATE BEFORE YOU PURCHASE!!!!! I am extremely disappointed in the quality of groceries for the price they charge. I don’t know who runs this place, but you need to do better & take the expired things off the shelves & get rid of the disgusting produce that isn’t fresh!!!!

I would say brookshire farm is one of the best little grocery stores you're going to find around in this area for sure they were the hospitality was great I walked there about 5 mi and they found me a ride back to the state park where I'm camping out for a few more days thank you brookshire I really appreciate the hospitality

I went to this location last night and of the items that I purchased was cookie dough which my son and I both ate.. I find out today that it expired 01-11-2021... a year ago.. idk if the dates were wrong when they packaged it or they just missed it but if that is the case for it to still be on yhe shelf over a year after expiration is a little crazy to me...Gave a 3 star because the employees were nice but the expiration is a little ridiculous..

I am new to the area and visited this store and received awful customer service. When I when to the check out line only one register was open and the person in front of me was having trouble with their transaction so it was very delayed. There was another cashier just standing to the side, when another customer came and got in line behind me she finally went to her register and told the person BEHIND me she would help them. After that transaction she left her register (I’m still waiting to be help) and waited until yet another customer came behind me minutes later and told them she would help them as well, then left the register yet again. Repeating this 3 or 4 times until finally the cashier I was waiting on finished her transaction. I asked her why she keeps helping people who just step in line while I have been waiting a good while now and she was very rude. The manager I spoke with Tim didn’t seem very concerned either. I worked for brookshires all through my high school years and loved it, customer service was so important, you always help the customer who has been waiting the longest. I hope this store can get some better customer service training.

I love that we have a neighborhood store in Tatum. It's so convenient not having to drive 18 miles to buy groceries but walking in to our local store and seeing two people not wearing masks is more than unsettling. I hope that you reinforce to your management that masks are a requirement not an option at this phase during this pandemic. I fully understand the argument of constitutionality; however, I also have a constitutional right not to be sickened by morons that offer an egocentric right over my own.

It's pretty nice in a small town where everybody knows you and they pretty much know what you're looking for when you can't find what you need even when I get confused I pretty much know exactly what I mean when I'm trying to explain something I love going to Brookshire Brothers and I love the picture of it work. They're always nice and friendly and very easy to find

Groceries are over priced and I've found several items that were past the expiration date! Cashiers are slow -paced and have no sense of urgency. The night time manager is kind of a joke and so is the night time cashier. They lack good customer service skills and are just okay at their jobs. Tried to cash a check here on Satursay at 4:45 PM and after waiting 20 minutes the manager was nowhere to be found and the cashier kept telling me she didnt know anything and then basically ignored me to help the people in line even though I had been waiting for so long. Ended up leaving without ever getting to speak to anyone other than the cashier who honestly looked like she was no older than 17 and was chewing and popping her gum loudly. I'd rather drive the 15 minutes to Walmart than deal with this place.

Prices are high and they close at 7pm but if you've forgotten something they open at 7am which is convenient and employees are courteous and capable- also there's a pharmacy.
