Unnecessarily Long wait for empty showers.. Showers are empty no one is cleaning them. Cleaners at night are always MIA.Also Old school washing machines.No lights in the parking lot. A very poorly run TA. 1 month later still only 1 WORKING Washing Machine. Cheaply horriblely ran TA.

I went into take a pee. The bathrooms were so nasty. No toilet paper in stalls . Trash not taken out had diapers everywhere with wipes on the floor that had poop on them. All the trash cans were full of paper towels and overflowing. Went over to get me a Pepsi to drink. I looked at the date it had Jan 15 & 22 2024 on it. They were three months out of date.I wish the person who owns these store could walk in them to see what is really going on. Most of the TA are really nasty.The lady behind the counter was eating, and the other person was just standing there on his phone doing nothing.

This is one of the worst TAs on the road today. I just read a review about the showers that exactly matched our experience today. The entire place seems to be extremely short-staffed. The best thing about this truck stop is the Popeyes restaurant.The condition of this place is truly a shame. TAs and Petros used to be the ideal in truck stops. That hasn't been true for many years, and it's sad. I really miss what they used to be. Please, be better again.

Great services on replacing flat tire and signal light. I didn't have to wait too long. They took care of me right away 2 days ago. I was comfortable in the waiting area. Thank you for all your help getting back on the road.

So this is how TA treating a truck drivers. Only two bucket had a little washer fluid. I think it's time to move to another truck stop where you always welcomed. Also prices are always higher in TA than Lowe's and Pilot truck stops.

I’m really not a big fan of TA’s as in general most are antiquated. This location in Sweetwater Texas is the absolute worst I have visited. Extremely long wait for a shower because no one was cleaning them. When I do get a shower, there is no Toilet Paper so I go to the men’s room upper level and that restroom is absolutely disgusting and has no toilet paper. Luckily I found the Janitor closet and got a roll of TP to take back to my shower room.There is absolutely no reason to have a drivers lounge as bland and uncomfortable as the one at this location. My drivers seat is more comfy than the plastic chairs in the lounge. No remote control for tv either.Huge pole in parking area with multiple lights on it, however, none of the lights come on.Is this truly how TA appreciates its customers?

.sweetwater TA travel center gets a five out of five review. This truck stop has a really cool snake in the front of the store and some entertaining games. Also there's some great food here. With pizza hut express and Popeyes and the diner plenty of seating great atmosphere background music and I even purchased some winning lottery tickets here. I also purchased some Lucas hub oil seal and plugs and performed some routine maintenance on my truck. Sweetwater TA five out of five. Also the staff goes above and beyond with customer service the lady in the tire shop has extraordinary multitasking skills she was typing reports helping me and another customer and made a phone call to assist the other customer took care of all our needs without skipping a beat thank you. Provide minimal service. Showers do not drain. Showers no hot water and quite cold as it’s 39 degrees outside. There wasn’t anyone using them and now I know why. I had to walk down to the Love’s as I was at my daily “no shower “ limit. This TA is for parking only.Addendum- their web page they say to follow up at is “Page Not Found.”

One of the worst TA's you can come to. They have a culture of being rude to customers. I was recently cussed out by an employee by the name of Anthony. He looks like a troubled young man that doesn't value or appreciate his employer or his customers. TA Petro needs to do a better job hiring.

Great Place to Fill up. Covered Gas Pumps. Family Restrauant inside. Clean restrooms, staff friendly and welcomes you with smiles. You can even do some Gift shopping in the store.

TA truck store is one of my favorite place to stop when traveling. If you are a trucker, TA got your back, need something to eat, snack on, drink, bathroom stop, TA got your back too. Is a one stop for all. For your car and for yourself

I had an excellent experience at this TA. The restaurant is actually open unlike other locations. The staff is friendly and the shop is awesome. I had no issues finding parking. I’ll make Sweetwater a part of my route based on this experience. 10/10

Not much room throughout the store but a lot to choose from in souvenir type stuff. The rattlesnake souvenir stuff was really cool!!!! 😎 Very clean bathrooms too!!

Smallish shower rooms as is common with older truck stops. Also a wider assortment of weird tourist trinket junk than you'd normally see at any chain brand truck stop. Clean and plenty of parking.

I do not recommend this TA at all. Especially the food. I got fried steak and it tasted bad and looked like it was cooked or it was expired. Avoid the food.

The cheapest gas was across the highway for $2.99, but I didn't realize it at the time. Also, the dinner her needs an update BAD. Unless they are trying to go with the retro look.

The employees are always super kind and helpful. There’s a decent snack and drink selection. The bathrooms are quite clean. The only downside is the defacement of the bathroom stalls in the men’s room. The language being used on the stalls makes me question the safety.

Terrible customer service for truckers. Called in for information and was told yes they have water spickets at the pumps. Came in and it doesn't work. After 3 phone calls that ended with me being hung up on I find they do not.

The only reason I give it two stars is the employees. They were nice folks. The food was ok. It's country pride, so you can expect much. The air conditioner is broken, and according to employees, has been for two months. The towels for the shower were dingy, stained, and desperately needed to be replaced. Ta says there is supposed to be two large bath towels. There was only one. The parking lot needs a bomb dropped on it to smooth it out. In general, it's a ta. What do you expect?

Huge parking area for trucks, good location and have a real sit down to order old truck stop style restaurant. Have a upstairs TV room,extra restrooms, showers, and laundry. Have a large store with large restrooms on ground floor.

Particularly this review is for the shop. I was told there was a wait time of 1 hr before they could get to me. I was in and out with a new tire by the time that 1 hour passed. Quick and easy, dealt with my company's breakdown department for the most part, and I barely sat down for a snack before I was ready to get on the road again.

In a constant state of disrepair/renovation. Restrooms was closed when I was there. Went upstairs (ada violation) 2 of 3 stalls working. One occupied, the other no t.p. had to go downstairs to find an employee in the upstairs lounge were 3 drivers staring at a TV with no reception. It's comical if not sad. Ate in the Popeyes once and a huge spider was on the table. At least it wasn't a roach. It probably is eating them. One bright spot. The diner serves me an excellent chicken fried steak with alot of extra stuff. And the waitresses were pretty and friendly
