Beautiful Petco, clean and organized. The only weird thing is the restroom sink. But aside from that, I love this Petco.

Though there was an issue with what I was told closing time was and actual closing, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The toy that was suggested for my extreme chewer is still “alive” minus an ear.

was greeted by the friendliest cashier who had to call an alleged manager to get my online order. 'manager' eventually strolled along bringing the wrong items. we had to call him back as he was immediately walking away (only time he moved fast) to let him know it was wrong. inches back 5 minutes later and drops my bags on the counter and walks away. No explanation and no apology as to why it would take over 10 minutes for me to pick up an online order. If he's the manager, I have no idea how that place is still open.

I came in close to closing on Christmas Eve and was greeted with nothing but warm smiles, if that isn't the true test to Customer Service. The Cashier at the counter was very helpful and I even got a chance to speak with the Groomer. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Went to go buy some dog food and the sell by date was 27 days past the date. This is not the first time I have seen expired pet food being sold at a Petco. Also the items they sell in the store are much higher in price than what the price is online, I don’t understand why they can’t have the same prices in the store as they have online, it makes no sense to me. With prices high everywhere already, I don’t understand why they have to get even more money from those who don’t check the prices online. I prefer going to other online retailers who always give me pet food that is fresh and not past the sell by date or expired, as well as give me the best prices for the items I buy.

The photos speak for themselves. Yes, those are all dead fish that have not been removed from the tank, and have been sucked up by the filter. We alerted several staff and management, who assured us they would "take a look."

Healthy-looking selection of fish with a 30 day warranty on all aquatic life survival. The variety in their selection is decent. Staff were helpful in assisting my needs. Some aquatic prices are more expensive than other stores, but others are well-priced. As well, their $1 for 1 gallon sale is great for people starting an aquarium.

My order was supposed to be delivered on 09/27/23. I received a text from the Door Dash driver that they were stuck at a train for 20 minutes. I replied "No worries". When I got home - no dog food yet I received no notification that my order had been cancelled. I had to click on the link in the original email stating that my order was shipped to find out it was cancelled without explanation. I contacted customer service via chat and they were great and resubmitted my order. But due to my concern that Door Dash would fail again, I purchased a small bag of (very overpriced) food at the store. While UPS took longer, they were more reliable and consistent than Door Dash.

The store is clean but if you have any questions its better to look things up online. Its hard to find anyone, some of the animal's habitats need to be cleaned better and more regularly, and there were a concerning amount of dead fish.

Terrible service. I ordered a brush online for in-store pickup and was given a crushed box with a defective item. When I took the brush back to the store to exchange it for a non-defective of the exact same item, I was charged an extra $10.I tried arguing that they can’t charge me extra for exchanging the same item, but the employee insisted I have to pay the “in-store price”. I ended up calling Petco’s customer service line and got a refund of the additional amount they charged me. Don’t visit this location, the employees do not know what they’re doing.

Stacy and Tay always help me with all my pet needs. They are knowledgeable and will tell me the truth so I can make the best decision. They know that price matters and they care that we can all buy the most expensive stuff.Stacy will help you find what works for your tanks!Sometimes you gotta stalk her a little (lol) because she is in high demand and she lets you ask questions with no rushing. She is smart and quick and love talking with her.Stacy is totally WORTH the WAIT!!Tay is fantastic to talk with, straight shoooter, she is kind and intelligent. I appreciate how professional and still friendly she is! She's funny (which makes it more fun)This store is always really clean. The people who work there are friendly and helpful without the super close stalkerness I have found at some pet stores. I enjoy speaking with the employees who give good opinions on everything from my foster dog, doing well :) they have a great big selection of dog food which makes me happy and tons of natural chew treats, we like the turkey tendon.Though I dislike seeing the Bettas in their little cups that's probably the worst condition of all the animals and those fish move often to new homes. I saw one worker playing with the snakes while cleaning and I thought that was cute.I would suggest this store for someone looking for pet items obviously lol.

Giving them a 5 due to APPALLING experience at Richmond store. Came to Sugarland location and they had the item and Kaiti was very helpful and very professional. Hope district manager gives her a nice reward or a raise/promotion for her services.

Always clean, friendly staff. Prices are reasonable. Was here getting a replacement dog tag for our dog's collar. They have an automated machine now that engraves it for you automatically, pretty cool!

I went in today to get a new dog bed and dog food which included 30 trays of wellness brand food for a stray that we took in and a bag of food for our other dog. The cashier rings me up for a total of $235.00. Good dog food is expensive so I’m OK with the total. What I wasn’t OK with is when I asked for a bag to put the 30 trays of food in I was informed that bags were 10 cents each. I spend $235 in the store and then get charged another 10 cents for a plastic grocery bag? That’s the last time I’ll shop at any Petco.

Liars and thieves. Took my dog in for routine vaccination and told them exactly what I wanted. When I returned, they had added a rabies vaccination. Only having exactly enough money for what I asked for, they told me it was STATE LAW for any animal they handle to have a rabies vaccination. Liars. Then they tried to tell me I couldn't have my dog back without paying for everything including rabies. Thieves. Don't do business with these clowns. Everyone involved should be fired. Feel bad for all the animals they constantly abuse as well as their owners. Beyond disgusted.

I think my daughters (as some would say) fur baby is Petco for shampoo and trim. He had a 930AM apt, I arrived at 9:45 (called entourage and inquired if it was okay to bring him and was told to bring him). Upon arrival, there was young lady trying to determine which grooming pkg and checking her dog in. I checked my dye’s dog in around 9:55-10:00 AM. She said it would take about two hours and she would call.Returned at about 2:00 pM to pick him up the tech said, I told you I would call. She apologized and said they had a lot of dogs and were short handed. She then said, I will call you when he is 30 minutes to ready.Went back after two hours and the tech said, I am putting him on the table in 5-10 minutes and he will be finished in about 45 minutes. I asked if he had eaten and tech said he hadn’t eaten but she gave him water.We just picked him up and brought him home fed and watered him, he’s sleeping like a baby.Now that I think of it, I took him to Petco in Mo City last year around August and it was similar “too many dogs, too few technicians.Just a heads up!!!

Booked a new appointment for my dog to get groomed… the ladies in the salon said they called because they wanted to know what kind of cut we wanted however, no one called me. So arriving there they gave me limited options because there wasnt enough time for a full body cut since it was Saturday, their busy day.What’s the whole point of booking an appointment and opting in for the higher package and only being offered something basic? It just doesn’t make any sense.

The worst experience!! I took my dog and they had me waiting for a long time just to tell me they don’t feel comfortable taking my dog in because he is 12 years old. Do not make appointments with Callistro if your dog is a senior. She doesn’t like to work with those dogs.
