We bought a bearded dragon today and my kids wanted to see all the animals in the store and they so happily taught my kids how to care for all kinds of animals and let them interact with so many. The staff were so patient and kind and truly seem to love their jobs and cared about the animals in store. So much better than other big name pet stores! Great selection for normal pets and small pets too! My kids had the best day ever from this visit.

As a new dog parent, I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed trying to ensure my furry friend gets the best care and a nutritious diet. With so much advice floating around from other dog parents and online sources, it's been a tad confusing. I recently discovered this pet store close to home and decided to give it a go. Let me tell you, the folks at Pet Supplies Plus, Telfair have been absolute gems!They provided me with the most fantastic advice, answering all my questions patiently. I have a feeling they're seasoned dog parents themselves, drawing from a wealth of experience. The store is not only clean and well-stocked but also offers a variety of options beyond just dog supplies. I noticed they have a dedicated section for other pets, all neatly organized and taken care of by the staff.Their advice was right on the money and has really worked wonders for me. I've now become a regular at this store, not just for purchases but also to bounce off my thoughts and get some validation. I genuinely hope they continue maintaining and even surpassing their current high standards. They've been a tremendous help.

Best pet store in Sugar Land! They had great deals and attentive customer service. Karthi was super helpful. He helped me find the right food for my cat who keeps getting utis. He also carried out my large bags of dog food to the car for me.

Huge shoutout to the manager she was so sweet! And the worker Lina I believe her name was. I had been going to the location in highway 6 but I threw away that punch card and switch over to this location. These workers deserve a raise & great management!!

Newly owned pet supply store. Super helpful employees, while you shop! No wandering around wondering if the cashier is the only one in the store. Great selection and what sounds like a great rewards program. I have not had the chance to try it yet.

I needed to update my review: I ordered a few things online. When i received my order, I realized i ordered the wrong item. I took it back the next day. The owner (lady) hassled me for 5 minutes about it being opened, after I told her numerous times it was not. She said it was sealed and i walked to where the product was and showed her nothing was sealed. She struggled to open a $80 package and turned to me and said "see open" then said not everything was in it. She realized everything was in it because the other side of the package was closed shut. After 20 minutes of back and forth, she finally issued my refund. The fact that I returned an unopened product and she struggled to open it up to realize it was never opened is pathetic. I will not be back, and if you plan to return anything to this location allow yourself 30 minutes of back and forth.

Really nice place. Nice variety. The animals look great, and the tanks are spotless. You can tell the owners really care. They’re there daily personally taking care of your future pets. Pricing is the same as most places. Worth driving just a little bit farther for me. They also carry Dubia roaches, which most places don’t!

Had the best experience at pet supplies plus. They had a great selection of items for pets and i bought stuff for my dogs and fishes. They have self bath facilities which was very clean, well maintained and my dog had a wonderful time there. They gave a great deal as well. 5/5 and totally recommended.

I love pet supplies plus! Great selection for cats, dogs, and small pets. I bought a large bag of hay for my rabbits and some treats, way more and much more affordable than other stores. The staff also helped hold the hay for me at the counter so I could look through the store. The store overall is very clean, welcoming, and stocked with great finds!

Horrible location. The owner is very disrespectful and rude. My dogs food was recalled for contamination of salmonella and the owner gave me a hard time about the refund as well as digital emailed coupons. She said it was not her problem. But when I called the manufacturer they said the franchise must refund the full amount. When I went to another location to ask them about the recalls the manger agreed with me and said they get a lot of complains from this location. Never going back here again.

Wonderful. Family owned and will drive past other stores to come here. Attended an adoption event and the staff was so excited for those who adopted. They were so generous and kind. Store is very clean. They have a range of brands, but don't carry full lines of products; dog selection alot wider than cats which is rather disappointing. I was approached by one of the owners and asked if I needed help, so I asked if he could tell me about the company brand. He got a deer in the headlights look and quickly called over a rather young employee who thankfully had more knowledge than he did. I asked about the brand and she went to tell me about it. Sadly, I was recommend by the one other owner ( I'm guessing the 1st wife) to buy brands that aren't really good nutrition wise. I kept looking around and asked about delivery and return policy. The employees have to deliver in their personal cars (a liability in my opinion if they got in an accident) and the returns can only be returned if unopened/damaged. So, if my cat hates the food, I'm stuck with it? They really need more raw options and better quality food choices for cats. I think I'd rather go where I know I can trust my needs and pets needs are met, like Hollywood feed up the road, where I know if Peaches hates the food, I can return it and it gets donated to a shelter. Think I'll pass on this Petco 2.0...

You have to go check out Pet Supply Plus close by H‑E‑B at University @ Hwy 6 behind Whataburger. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful! They have all the premium foods that you could want along with party cookies for your pups next birthday or, gotcha day! You can even give them a bath while you’re there and treat them to treats for being so good and your floor stays dry at home! Can’t say enough wonderful things about this place. You’ll be so glad you went! Tell them Archie sent you!

If I could give this place 0 stars I would!!! Terrible customer service. This lady tried to argue with me about where I purchased dog food that my pet got sick from! I didn’t have the receipt, but I definitely pulled it up on my bank account, that CLEARLY said I was charged at this location along with the store number! And she still refused to help me! Very poor customer service!!!

HORRIBLE customer service ! OWNER refused to refund unopened dog food that I purchased 3 days ago. Her and cashier asked me 50,000,000 questions about where, when, and why I'm returning the food. I have my receipt..this is not what I want..PLEASE follow your policy. She then threatened to call police. Wow..just wow !!!
