This is the dirtiest and smelliest store I have ever been to. It smells so bad in there and it hits you as soon as you walk in. Everything is unorganized and all over the place. There is also giant holes in the ceiling that are leaking and you can tell that they haven't swept or mopped the floor in ages. Very disgusting.

Manager was very rude and was using bad language. Even in front of kids having them crying and probably scared. Way to go DG in picking who works there. Phfff 👎

Need staff who care. They just hope you go to the self checkout option and leave them alone. But they're the only store in Stockdale so they get super busy sometimes but only ever have one register open and the worker is usually slow AF. Medicine aisle is never fully stocked, either. Loads of food and other items readily available though.

plenty of stock, it's just all on the carts or on the floor. some staff rude as hell. if DG cares about customers as they say, then get off of some of that stacked back moldy money. and hire 2 people just to stock at your Stockdale store. and leave those two to just stock. Then maybe your employees might be happier. Stop trying to work them like Hebrew Slaves and help them Corparate.

The dollar general used to be 5stars when Susan was mgr but ever since she left it has gone downhill messy,empty shelf’s way over stick on some item and way under on others. The staff are nice but it’s just not the same , you miss what you had when it gone COME BACK SUSAN

Good store, bad costumer service. Cashier did not smile one, had no manners. While I put the items on the counter, she forced them under the plastic screen and dropped an item, she made it seem as if she didn’t notice. Didn’t apologize, didn’t say thank you, nothing. Just had an angry face and seemed repulsed by our presence://

I always enjoy shopping at the dollar general I truly do I even tried getting a job there yet no call back!?!? Lol, really tho I’m honest about my review of this place pretty awesome and definitely a money saver. Staff was fantastic and if looking for a hard worker let me know I would love to work and become part of great company....

I don't think employees should complain to the customer in the store about other employees and managers decisions. When it was told to the employee about it's not good customer service to do that, employee went ya. But still continued.
