Two stars because I got a good deal. But don’t follow people around the store “sweeping” It was awkward and then you ended up at the register at the same time as me how sway. You had nothing to do with my purchase and you did not help or offer to help in any kind of way, as a fellow black person I feel targeted and you being black yourself…the least you could do is speak and say hello. Tyrone. Your name is on my receipt but you didn’t check me out the two girls at the register were a great help so thanks !

A great store to find all the things that you might need for your pet. There is stuff for all types of pets. The store is very well organized and there are prices for you to choose which best fits your budget. Also, the employees were very kind.

After being my dog to get a bath and refresh on Sunday April 23, 2022 not only was their bath rushed, they also came out wet.Not smelling like a clean washed dog smells.As the week went on I noticed my dog starting to itch nonstop. I noticed the spot on her back and treated it with anti bacterial spray and ointment.Now it’s Tuesday and her ear and face is having a full on allergic reaction.I suspect they used HARTZ shampoo. Anyone that recognizes that name knows that company is known for killing pets and ruining their coats to the point all their skin is exposed raw.My dog did not have this before the shower.I just started coming here from years of going to Petco N Shepherd Dr.I never had this problem there.I was nervous for coming to a new grooming Petco but after this I’m not coming back.Upgrading to calm and refreshed got my dog hurt. Not to mention they double charged me. They did give me the refund for the extra charge.I’ll update after the vet visit.

Can't say enough good enough things about this Petco location where I got my beautiful Koi Betta fish about 5 months ago. Everyone is very helpful especially Mr Jesus. Would definitely recommend.

One of the best Petco locations north of Houston. Good selection of saltwater and freshwater fish. Larger variety of reptiles compared to other Petco locations. I like that they actually give the morphs of the pythons instead of just calling them "fancy". They also give the species names of the tarantulas and scorpions again instead of calling them "rare". Staff is friendly. Standard cat/dog selection of food, toys, etc. All around solid pet store.

Not a fan of all the overpriced pet stuff, but it keeps my wife happy to come here occasionally. Everything a pet owner could need, and you can bring your pet too. Employees are friendly, and the store is fairly clean.Almost every fancy brand of pet food you can imagine. Our dog is allergic to Chicken, and most foods here contain chicken.

I just went to this store, I specifically explained to the cashier that I need a rawhide for my foster that was traveling all the way to Boston for 3 whole days, I asked which one would last longer and she gave me her recommendation and I trusted her opinion, I got 2, one for my dog and one for the foster, I gave the one to my dog on our way back home, we haven’t even been on the road for 20 mins and she already chewed half of the rawhide, I’m very upset, I really wanted my foster to have something for the duration of the trip, not a 15 mins snack! 🤬🤬🤬🤬

Petco is kinda the same as the rest around the world, i went in to buy some fish and they were out of stock. The guy that helped me was polite and honest. Covid has slowed down shipments, but mentioned more coming in a week.

Really liked this store until about a week ago. Long story short, they had a piebald Chameleon they were looking for a good home for. He had an eye infection and ended up losing his eye. However, he was very personable for a Chameleon and well handled. I do wildlife education programs, and the lady caring for him at Petco agreed he would do well with me. She just preferred that he had a good enclosure. It took me a couple of weeks, but I procured a nice setup of $400+ for him. I had been in store on two other occasions to see him (Louie) and handled him with no issues. Finally, I met with the lady caring for him last week (roughly 3 weeks or so after initially discussing), and she tells me right off the go he shouldn't go with me. She said, "I was thinking about it the day after we talked, and I don't think he would do well with someone like you." I was appalled because I had been in twice since my initial visit, and they even called her once to inquire when I could meet with her. No mention whatsoever of me not being able to take him during those couple weeks.My primary issues are that she said he wouldn't be good with me when:1. He lost an eye in their care2. He's in a horizontal 30-gallon glass terrarium. I bought him a custom Chameleon set up (60×24×24') with decor, drip system, and the works. It also appeared that they didn't have the right UV setup.3. He isn't the only reptile there dealing with health issues under their care.4. She mentioned I wouldn't have enough time to care for him? I'm not sure how that's possible, considering she is hardly there all day, let alone every day. I would literally have the capability to care for him every day.This whole situation was incredibly ridiculous. They could have communicated earlier that they weren't comfortable, and the employee caring for him was hypocritical with her argument as to why I shouldn't acquire him. This Petco is a joke, and I'll take my business elsewhere. There are several pet stores within 5 miles of this Petco. I'd suggest shopping at those instead. Not long story, short, I suppose.

This is the second time I've been to this store for fish and fish supplies and I had to leave because I couldn't get someone to help after asking several times. The lady was having a non-work related conversation and had an attitude when I asked for her assistance. She never did come by to help, so I left. Terrible customer service and I won't return.

My fish pump stopped working so they gave me another almost the same one but different.The salesman sold me the wrong filters after I asked him was those the right ones and he said yes but he lied to me.They where not the right ones.

Violet and I just ran in to pick up a couple cans for the weekend. Selection running low and several things moved around.Should of been a 5 minute trip but my furry child raced down every isle searching for items NOT ON MY LIST. Snagged her this "throw" aka blankie, woobie . And 3 cans of Acana premium chunks & 3 cans.of Merrick Venison holiday stew . Both dogs in the house seem to enjoy these brands. Sorry, you got me rambling.. back to Petco review.. store is clean. It.was close to closing so not alot of employees present. That's OK, i had no questions today. As I stated, kinda low on alot of things that I prefer to use. I'm guessing low stock of items attributed to more people suddenly getting pets during covid. Not really Petco's fault there. I will keep them in my pet destination rotation ... for now😈

Did self-serve washing for my dog. $20 great price for all cleaning supplies,towels,blow dryer,etc.Everybody is helpful in store except check out cashier. Was not having a good day. Not friendly or helpful. Other staff members explained directions for self service.

The store employee, who looked like she was heading home (she mentioned that she has a pet snake), stopped to love on our puppy, and she even suggested some good toys and treats for her. Then, when we went to check out, the gentleman was extremely nice and provided excellent customer service. We will be back!

They always cut my dogs hair how I requested. This time, I asked if to be cut low. They cut his nails and cleaned his teeth. They treat my dog with care.

This is the Petco that I shop at quite frequently. I use to shop at Natural Paws because they carried the Orijen Brand and I couldn’t find it anywhere else. Petco has decided to go more natural and they also have a great rewards system. To add icing to the cake, the service is always wonderful. There is sometimes a little wait but not too long to be upset about. Both of my girls are happy. We will continue to shop here!

I think the aesthetic appearance of the store is less to the old models, but it isn't the fault of the store, so regarding this specific location, everything seemed relatively clean, stocked, and customer service was easy to find and helpful in reaction. Wasn't here for long, but had healthy seeming salt water and fresh watee fishes, and a large grooming salon.
