Hands down the best fish store my husband and I have ever been to. We love exploring fish stores whenever we travel and this has been our favorite so far. We both told one another when we left that it was the cleanest store we’ve ever seen. The displays and layout of the store made looking at all the different fish such an enjoyable experience. We really enjoyed how the sections of the store are labeled (community, semi-aggressive, aggressive, etc.). It made it easy for us to be able to know which fish we can put together. The staff members were so friendly and knowledgeable compared to other stores we’ve been to as well. Even though we live 1.5 hours away, we will be frequenting this store often.

Gorgeous fish store with a lot of options for tanks, stands, filters, aquarium decor and freshwater and saltwater fish. Great selection of betas that are kept in fish bowls instead of tiny cups like other pet stores.There are multiple filled tanks to admire and a massive fish tank in the wall that holds turtles and a variety of fish that they put a seating area in front of so you can actually go in there and watch the fish and hang out if you want to.Very welcoming and knowledgeable employees. There is also a place for a "photo op" for the kids near the koi fish in a separate room to the left of the other fish for sale. The photo op has two spots where the kids (or adults) can climb up a couple steps and put your head in the plastic bubble so you feel submerged in another larger aquarium.Overall the selection was impressive, the store was very clean and it was easy to get questions answered but no one was pushy. The fish looked healthy and the restrooms were clean.I took away one star because the prices are very high but we will be back. Our children loved it there almost as much as going to the Aquarium downtown! I just don't want to spend that kind of money on fish until I am more knowledgeable about aquariums and can keep our pond (mostly) algae free.

I was excited to visit this store after seeing the beautiful photos on Google and their website. When I arrived it was just as nice as I had expected with a huge selection of equipment, tanks of literally all sizes, and beautiful display tanks. The staff seemed nice and told me to just let them know if I needed help. Unfortunately that is where the good ends though. The freshwater community fish selection was incredibly lacking, and what's worse is the prices of all of the livestock were at least double, with some nearly triple the going rate anywhere else in Houston. A tiny Electra blue acara was $37, but they are easily found for $17 for a larger specimen in just as good health elsewhere.I understand it's an upscale place that deals in all aspects of the hobby, but even the big-time place in south Houston that specializes in world class aquascapes has fair prices on fish with a far better selection. I ended up driving for an hour one way only to leave completely empty handed.

Great little fish store, fun for the kids too, my 5 and 7 year old loved the big turtles and the tank they could "get inside". The fish looked healthy and as someone that ran fish stores 20 years ago, i know what I am talking about. Prices seem a bit high, but I am also comparing to 20 years ago, so maybe not, all in all I definitly enjoyed it

This was such a great experience for the kids to help their uncle pick out fish. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Tons of options to pick from and so much to see.

I’ve been to other fish stores and these guys are the best. I noticed right away how organized they were and that is a huge pet peeve of mine. Their aquariums and the fish all look well taken care of. The people are knowledgeable and wouldn’t just sell you fish just to sell them to you for money. I learned that they have summer reading camps for free and they are very passionate about fish here. I wish I got the name of the guy who was helping me and my husband with the green hair tonight because both encounters with him were pleasant. Maybe Patrick? He had the scars on the face but the dude was super pleasant to talk to and he spoke to me on the phone before I came in an hour before closing and I didn’t at all feel rushed. He gave me advice on pairing my fish and finding solutions to keep the peace in my tank. Will recommend this place to anyone who wants to just stop by and listen to some good aquarium advice. My fish are thriving thanks to them and their abundant supply!

Very nice place with just about everything for your aquarium needs. They have a few 2k+ gallon tanks that were amazing just to watch! Unfortunately customer service seemed not to be a priority for any of the employees present during my and my wife's visit. No one offered to help us in any way for a good 10 - 15 minutes until I was ready to leave when a young man step in to ask if he could help. He was nice but did not appear any more knowledgeable then your average fish hobbiest.

Our first time in the store and I will say we won't be back. Prices are crazy! Apparently you have you have to look a certain way to get help. 7 employees and we were greeted by 1. Asked a few questions to another employee and seemed we were bothering the employee. I will give them this....they do have beautiful fish but $$$$

Loved it I also like how they have some caves for kids to sit and watch the koi from below the tank will definitely go back to buy some fish very good customer service will definitely recommend

Fantastic place with many different fish and other aquarium needs. They have some amazing tanks to see. Very friendly manager. He was very involved with customers coming in the front door.

The manager kept looking at me and my daughter, and he said we had the same long, sexy legs!! 0 stars if I could, very inappropriate behavior from a MANAGER (his name is Patrick). The staff is also very unhelpful and was rude to me and told me since I already have a fish I should know how to take care of it and what fish it can be with.

This place has a nice selection of aquariums and fish. It has all the things you will need for a wonderful aquarium setup. The people who work here are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I tried getting fish from Pet Smart but did not have very good luck. Every fish I have gotten from here has thrived in my tank.

Fish abuse!!! Please do not go here I went to this store on Wednesday and I witnessed multiple DEAD bettas in the Betta fish gallery. For a store that advertises big fish tanks that are well stocked and good for fish, the fish that they currently have are being abused!! I went to the front desk and talked to a lady who completely brushed off my concerns. Please please do not go here. Depressing and disgusting!! Severely disappointed do better!

Such a wonderful experience! My children loved it! My 2 year old went crazy, he was running everywhere yelling "Fishies" hahaThey have an area where you can reserve for parties, that's so neat. This location is in Spring, TX. They have another one that is in Houston that is 20x bigger. It's like a free Aquarium, but better! No crowd, and just an all around great experience!

Buyer beware - while it is a beautiful store to visit, be aware that their plant tanks are infested with snails. I am a little more than upset about the snails that hitchhiked to my aquarium on a plant. I am going to have to take my tank apart and start over to get rid of these pest snails that breed prolifically.

This place is a joke. First off there prices are thru the roof on absolutely everything the staff are rude and they try to talk you into to buying the most expensive products they offer. My girlfriend went in there with 3 5 gallon buckets and asked for saltwater the guy said word for word “it’s over there fill it up yourself” then walks to the back after my girlfriend has been standing there for 5 minutes comes back to the front and takes her money and doesn’t even offer to help carry the buckets of water that she is clearly struggling to carry. Stay far away from this place. They have poor customer service, rude staff, ridiculous prices. There are plenty of other 5 star aquarium shops within the area

I love this place and I'm so glad it's my LFS. I visit here once a week just to check it out and look around. There displays are beautiful and the fish are in very good health. Absolutely 5 stars. And the staff is awesome. I would definitely recommend this store.

I’ve drove past this place 100 times and never thought to stop in. I saw a sign out front that said “have your next party here” and decided to have my sons 3rd birthday party at the Fish Gallery. We weren’t sure what to expect going in, but the kids (and the adults) had a blast! They got to see them feed the fish in the huge tank in the front of the store, the kids got to feed Koi fish, and they even had 2 touch tanks with several fish, frogs, etc. The person hosting the party was very knowledgeable and answered all the kids questions. They even offer a discount if you have your party there and buy something afterwards. I was pleasantly surprised with the outcome and will definitely be back in the future.

Beautiful aquarium store. The staff was all really nice. They have a lot of interesting and unique fish other stores don't have. The livestock prices are a bit above average but worth it for the quality. The aquarium setups are beautiful but really high priced. Love the huge display aquariums. What a great treat!

Very Nice Professional Fish Gallery. When you walk in you feel like you're watching something from the show Tanked. They have high-end fish tanks all around. With a living room concept with a giant freshwater tank as the center feature. Associates Kevin and Kelsie are beyond helpful answering every question you can think of and giving their personal recommendations with sound advice.They've recently changed the front showroom layout a wider array of fish tanks.

Visited the fish gallery for the first time in Father's Day and as an amateur aquarist LOVED the store. I felt like a kid wanting to buy everything.I did taper back the excitement and purchased an axolotl and 3 Tiger Barbs. Unfortunately, the moment I got the Tiger Barbs into their tank (55 gal), I noticed one of the Barbs had huge lips. His face looked deformed/sick, so I watched him closely and immediately noticed odd swimming patterns consistent with a swim bladder disease.The next morning the fish was swimming circles and the other two Barbs were ripping it apart. By the time I got him out, it was too late.I expect those kind of issues with pet retail chains like PetSmart, but was disappointed fish gallery has a similar issue. Perhaps it was a one off and I will adjust my rating if they allow me to "return" the fish (supposedly they have a 14-day policy) or be compensated in some way when their fish fail to live up to basic standards. Like staying alive for 14 days, at least.

Nice store, but TERRIBLE customer service. I bought a $75 fish on Sunday, but when I brought him home, he immediately showed signs of being sick. I nursed him for 2 days and called on Tuesday to return/exchange, and they would not offer any service.Regardless that I've bought a lot of tanks, equipment/supplies and fish from them and never asked for a return or exchange, the only thing they offered to do was test my water, by hinting that I have a dirty tank and poor water.I explained that I have my tanks cleaned by a professional every month, but they wouldn't offer any exchange or return. You can see from my photos that I have a clean, healthy tank and community. Their service is TERRIBLE and I will not be returning. Very disappointing.

I always enjoy the staff here specifically the staff are always extremely nice and friendly. The store is always fun. I like the tanks at this store better than the Houston one just personal preference. They are redoing Houston anyway. I purchased a mudskipper this weekend and he's been my new favorite thing in the world. I've had good luck with pretty much everything I've purchased here. I'm part of the food club and get the food discount at both locations. I get super excited when the pink belly turtle is there. I've gotten betta, Congo tetras, rainbow fish, and Corey's that have all done well here. Also my freshwater plants have done pretty well from here. I can't recall ever having any problems with any live stock I've purchased from this store.
