One of the better chain BBQ restaurants I've been to. The service was great, very friendly and informative about the food. Thickest cut of brisket I've ever gotten from a similar place. The Westerner with brisket and spicy sausage is great. If you like unsweetened tea theirs is great. Also the spicy BBQ sauce has jalapeño seed in it and is great!

Foods always good and delicious. Always tastes fresh. Only downside is the service. It's continually slow and the staff always act annoyed when someone walks in. I'm not the type who expects a red carpet or even a thank you. It's a business transaction after all. But there's no leadership in the place and it shows. It's always shown. No one is happy to be there and they act like they'd rather the place just shut down. BBQ is always expensive but their prices are decent for BBQ. The food is great. The place is clean. They're just not a good people place.

I usually give a restaurant 5 tries before leaving a negative review, but all 5 visits have been negative experiences. The service was great, but the food was always a complete let down one way or the other. There is a local bbq restaurant (that won't be named) that I will be taking my business to for the foreseeable future as it's cheaper, has way bigger portions and tastes and is cooked to perfection.

I orderd food to be picked up from dickeys bbq. 13 meals for 13 people . Pulled pork was dry. And frenchfries where thrown into 3 large containers to eat out of. Could not provide me with a recipt. Overall pretty disappointed,considering they had a full 24 hrs to prepare order ,and with a grand total of 280.00 dollars. I give my experience a resounding thumbs down. 👎👎👎

Stopped here on 12/29/19 and the employees were just rude. The older white man cutting the beef was just not a pleasant person and should not be the first face you see when you start your order. Stopped by on 01/16/2020 and my husband stood in line to place an order then when he gets to the front he's told there was no meat. As he's leaving the staff decided to walk around with someone's food on a tray telling others and showing them they ran out of food. My husband then goes to the customer and tells them "are you really going to eat that after the employee showed your food to everyone and walked all over the restaurant with it?" We went on 02/16/2020 and this will be the last time we give this restaurant a chance. We start to order and are told they have no ribs, chicken or wings and won't have any until Tuesday. I ask if they have potatoes and they rudely said yes. Then the short stubby lady with really short hair barely put meat on our potatoes. The first time I went they weighed the meat. Then she told the black guy loading our potatoes to put more butter so the potatoes don't look so empty. Then he also barely put any toppings on the potatoes. We were also told that they ran out of green onions for the potatoes. While we place our order the dark Hispanic lady at the register is looking at us and just enjoying her drink giving us dirty looks because my husband asked them if they ever have food because they are always saying they ran out of things. Every single time we've stopped here every single employee has been rude, they have no customer service skills and they rarely have food I stock. They couldn't pay me to eat there again.

I came here by chance and heard that it is a very authentic barbecue in Texas, so I came here to taste it. The taste is very good, it is worth a visit!

Ordered on line from the Dickies in Big Springs, Texas. My neice said it was very good BBQ. It was the worst I ever had. We ordered 2 of the 2meat combos. We had sliced and chopped brisket but there was so much fat in the chopped at least half of it was thrown out. The sliced brisket had big hunks of fat on them. I believe we got the end pieces because it was carry out and to far to drive back. The green beans tasted terrible and went in the garbage along with the soggy toast we got. From the other reviews I really thought I would have leftovers. I should have known something was wrong when they weren't busy.

Generally love Dickies but my visit today I ordered the full rack of ribs and they were over cooked, extremely dry. Took them back and he said as soon as he cleared the line of itinerary, 6 new ones he’d fix my order. Very unprofessional. He should have taken care of my order immediately. I had already paid and my family was already eating. I won’t be back

Chopped brisket could have been warmer, but it was tasty. Bun was too much bread for me, but prob fine for others. My companion loved the coleslaw. I had hot, fresh fries. Menu options hard to see from the line to order. Overall - good BBQ

Staff was awesome got a westerner and it was build just like the photo. Enough meat and sausage with all the condiments and pickles and onions. It was delicious 😋. I love their ice and sweet tea...I had friend and jalapeño beans. Everything was so good. It was just a really great dinner atmosphere on this day. I can tell when they switch management and cooks... I've been there when the person making the sandwiches put very little bbq on my sandwich and just act like they don't want to be there. Rude and bossy or just out right in a bad mood... but we still come in for bbq because of the flavor. Anyway this day we had a good manager and staff. Everything was clean Clean. Organized all the containers had tea. Like they got it going on... I hope she stays as manager.

Ordered a brisket sandwich with cheese and only received a cold brisket sandwich. Added two sides, one of Mac n' cheese and a side of mashed potato casserole. For some odd reason, they decided to put down that I Ordered a brisket plate and 2 bags of lays chips. It must've taken about 15 minutes for them to figure out how the gift card works and that's probably why the food was cold. No other complaints. Good place to eat with the family.

I ordered online and went to pick up my order. They were out of ribs and did not say anything to me and they did not give me my sides or the Hawaiian roll I ordered. If you don't have what I ordered tell me and if you don't have it don't give me an attitude about getting the sides I paid for. I understand not having items but let the customer know. And please don't give me an attitude after that.

Me and my husband just ordered take out from here spent a good amount of money on our food... the ribs were dry, cold, and not fresh. I found three edible pieces of plastic in my brisket. The French fries were cold and not fresh. The only good thing was the sweet tea and macaroni. I do not recommend dickies

Melissa, you're not very friendly! We all have bad days, I get it, but your demeanor and attitude towards your customers should be exceptional. So sorry I forgot to mention the order was a take out, and you felt the need to roll your eyes and make a deep sigh. Uncalled for!!! My first time ever being here, and my last as long as you are the manager. Way to go!

I had a pretty bad customer service experience with this location. I looked online and saw they had a “family pack” for $40. Called in and asked if I could order the same deal over the phone. They said yes. I ordered and showed up and was charged $60. When I asked about why it was so much more than the online price I was rudely and unapologetically told “That price is only if you order online”. I paid and left. These guys could seriously use some help on the front end. You’re going to keep losing customers when you treat them like that.You get two stars because the BBQ was still pretty solid.

Great food if they ever have all the stuff to make what you want. I’ve been there several times and only once did they have what I wanted. No signs informing customers of what they were out of. I understand that this place gets busy due to how good their food is. Prep better. The guy told me that they would have more bakers in an hour if I wanted to come back. Also the guy preparing the sides tonight 01/05/19 continued to pull his pants up, note that he kept his gloves on as he does this. And turns around to handle more food. So I give this place a 2 rating due to poor service, and poor planning.

I ordered food from there and they forgot 2 items plus the food was COLD. I spent $70!!!!! I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you like wasting money and putting up with that. They were nonchalant about the entire thing!

For a Sunday around 2pm, it was quick and decently good BBQ with good sauces. Would recommend, and will go there again. 4 stars because some sides on the menu where unavailable.

Ordered a two meat plate. The brisket was extremely dry and had no flavor. I’ve been to some bad barbecue places but this is definitely the worst. I also ordered jalapeño cheese sausage that was really dry as well like if it’s been sitting outside for a while. On the bright side the mashed potatoes was really good And the staff was really friendly.
