Today I have to give the drive thru Pharmacy 5 stars! Super quick friendly service. Quite honestly I was shocked. Usually Walgreens pharmacy is a disaster. Not sure what the Gentleman's name was but kudos thanks for the good experience. I always enjoy going into the main store clean, well stocked and some of the staff members are super friendly. Just the pharmacy needs some work!

Outstanding customer service 8-3-23 by Daniel. Original cost of medication (90 antibiotic tablets) was $220.00 Daniel called my Doctor to discuss options. He called me and advised the prescription was modified to (90 antibiotic capsules) cost $5.36. Same medication. Only difference capsules not tablets.

Best Walgreens in Texas! Clean and excellent inventory! The staff members are very friendly and greet you with genuine kindness. They always have a smile on their faces and are just the kindest on this planet. It's a comfort to shop and not worry about being judged or mistreated! Thank you to the employee that shared her encouragement on yoga excercises & and to another employee that pronounced my name correctly. It's the simple things that make a huge difference!

I like this clean store, but will not go back because of the pharmacy. Don’t bother trying to get your flu shot, much easier elsewhere. The sign on the store says appointments not necessary, then first thing technician asks is “do you have an appointment?” Then says, even if we did, they can’t guarantee we’d get our vaccine then. Then what’s the point??? And why ask the customer that??? We were told it would take 30 min if we wanted to wait, even though there was only 1 person waiting for a vaccine. As a customer, you felt like they just wanted you to go away, no attitude like please wait here & we’ll get to you as soon as we can.

The 1 star review is for the pharmacy, the rest of the store is nice and the staff friendly. The pharmacy is just so understaffed. This last time I waited 25 minutes to just pick up a prescription and I saw about a dozen angry people waiting on vaccines in the waiting room, being ignored. Yikes. Switching my prescriptions back to CVS or HEB.

I had to come to this Walgreens for my Covid booster because my local Walgreens didn't have the Moderna vaccine. I made the appointment on the app. I arrived 15 mins before my appointment and was given the shot 6 minutes after my appointment time. Was really impressed with the pharmacist. I booked my appointment in the evening so there wasn't many in front of me. No complaints here.

The pharmacy at this Walgreens is terrible. I had to move my prescription from HEB to Walgreens because of my insurance, but I'm going to switch back to HEB. I'd much rather pay more than deal with this pharmacy ever again. It's always a long wait, but today, I got in the drive-thru line with only 2 cars in front of me (I don't know how long the one at the front had been there already). It took 25 minutes for me to get up to the window. 25 minutes for two cars. I paid for my prescription quickly and the lady commented on mine being a quick transaction which I thought was nice but when I said I had been in line for 25 minutes behind two cars, she very rudely rolled her eyes at me. Even my son saw it and thought it was very rude. This Walgreens needs to make some improvements or they're going to lose all of their business.

Pharmacy drive thru is not being managed at all. Waited at the window for 20 minutes and rang the call button several times then finally had to call the store. Yep could have just went into the store but have kiddos and was looking for speedy service. Please have the correct number of employees or at least close the drive thru and let patrons know with a sign to come in due to staffing issues.

The first time I called the pharmacy I was on hold for over half an hour. The phone would start ringing and then someone would pick it up and without saying a word put me back on hold. I finally hung up called back and got ahold of the manager of the store and they didn’t seem to care that I had been on hold for so long. Then today I have a prescription to pick up and there is no pharmacist on duty today. It is Thursday. And when I try to call to see if they have gotten a pharmacist in yet it takes me at least an hour to get ahold of anyone. I am never going to this Walgreens again. I have been going to Walgreens for almost 20 years but not anymore.

I used this pharmacy for a couple of years. Not once did they ever get the prescriptions correct. I only used them because they were the “ preferred provider” for my insurance plan. Every 6 months it was a complete hassle trying to get my refills. The automatic program was a nightmare. I had used Walgreens for some 40 years for my pharmacy needs and always thought they were very adequate and professional. That was until I encountered this store. In February of this year I transferred all my prescriptions to HEB in the same area. They have been great. Then today I started getting texts from this Walgreens about refills and they were getting authorization from my MD. I had specifically back in February stated that I was transferring and I would no longer be using them. Now I’m just hoping they haven’t screwed everything up with HEB and my physician. Steer clear of this place. A total disgrace to the pharmaceutical industry. Sorry.

Inside the store is nice and organized with friendly employees. The pharmacy is a little lacking and unreliable. Will switch my prescriptions back to HEB.

If I could put negative stars I would- the pharmacist is NOT HELPFUL - not friendly at all- this is the SECOND year in a row we went as a family of 5 to get flu shots- made sure it was well before their lunch hour (went at 12:45) they go to lunch at 1:30-we showed up 45 minutes before their lunch time...the pharmacist said sorry we would have to come back after 2:30! Luckily we have HEB across the street! Heb is wonderful, helpful and did a great job on all 5 of us! Don’t waste your time at this Walgreens- just go to HEB across the street!;)

I like the pharmacist at this location. My car was in the shop for a week. I had to take a Lyft to pick up my rx from here. Being new to the area, i did not realize that i was at the wrong Walgreens. The pharmacist filled my order right away & was very nice about. She is always very pleasant when i go thru the drive thru as well.

Honestly I have been shopping at this store since it opened and as a long time resident it’s my go to Walgreens but the store but really has gone down hill. This curly headed young man, I think name is Marcus something with a M. Anyhow he has been nice on some days and a-little less friendly on others. In light of this I have now switched to CVS. Sad to see such a great location go down hill.

I wish i could leave a negative 5. I am acutely aware that the dosage I receive for some meds are well beyond the norm. Because of this when i know I am going to need them I make contact before hand. They have filled them before after talking to my dr who confirms it. I have offered them copies of my test results that prove the need. I have asked if they can make a note in my file to help expedite this, they said no, I asked if while i am at the dr. I could have him call as he sends it and deal with any issues while I am in the room, they said no. The reason for the dosages i take is genetic. I have hard copies of the genetic tests. My genes aren't going to change. I call ahead or stop in each and every time. They acknowledge they have talked to my doctor before, filled it before, and than refuse to till they verify with my doctor again. Called on Tuesday as leaving the dr. Told ok arrived on Weds and had to wait 2 hours for them to fill. Mind you the same pharmacist had questioned the meds and talked to my dr just 5 days ago. I guess they don't understand science or at least genetics if they think they may have changed. I tried to talk to the Store manager about my frustration and the fact i have offered multiple solutions i left so angry today i never want to go back. Stopped at after and decided to talk their pharmacy. They said they would gladly take a letter hmmm

A few of the pharmacists are decent but most are terrible with poor interpersonal skills and as one reviewer stated many of the "technicians" are "United Nations" and you can't understand a word they say through that $5 audio system in the drive through. I dumped Walgreens 20 years ago and switched to CVS - unfortunately Blue Cross and CVS could not reach a business agreement. And what is with this silly "Lunch Break". Apparently Walgreens has so few staff they cannot stagger lunch break.Can't wait until I'm 65 on Medicare and can switch back to CVS.

I recently moved to the Bulverde area and started using the Pharmacy at this Walgreens. WOW, what a difference and not for the good. No matter whether you go in person or call, they act like they don't even want to help you. The other Walgreens where I filled my prescriptions would jump when I called and go out of their way to exceed my needs. Not this one. They give you the feeling like "Go Away" we don't have time for you. I have held on hold for 15 mintues, once they do pickup they act like "What do you want". If you ask to transfer a script they give you 10 other ways to do it so they don't have to deal with it. I will give them some time as I know this store is relatively new, but if things don't get better I will push to use the CVS or HEB. HEB is 100 times better.

I will agree with a lot of people about the pharmacy and immunizations. I made an appointment in the hopes that would help, but I still waited 30 minutes past my appointment time for the immunization. The type of vaccine I needed had to be given by the pharmacist when they were ready so don't bother with trying to get a timely shot here.

I was a regular customer in this Walgreens. Until you put that new manger Victor in this store. He does not like any one using coupons.I tried this Walgreens one more time for the convenience on 11/22/2019 again. You seriously need to change your management at this location. Amanda and Victor have made this store horrible.

First I would like to applaud store 20744 Spring Branch TX, for having such amazing staffs, for being humble and patient with customers, such as me! Personally I would like to acknowledge and a give shout out to Samira, for providing outstanding genuine fast paced service! She’s knowledgeable about every detail from pharmacy to store She can really multitask professionally. She deserves a raise just alone for that. “WALGREENS PAY ATTENTION ITS HARD TO FIND GREAT STAFF” as a paying loyal customer I expect you to acknowledge this store and your amazing employees!

Alice in the pharmacy was rude, nonhelpful, and smiled then sneered at me when the insurance company wouldn't let me pick up my little boys medicine. She seemed happy that I was turned away. It's called customer service lady. This lady never asks how we're doing or uses any form of manners when she speaks to people. I heard her say ma'am once. She does not belong dealing with sick people. Pure evil.

Worst pharmacy ever for getting through to anyone on the phone! I’ve tried last week and again today. First attempt today I reached a live person in 10 min, who then put me on hold for another 10 minutes and when they came back just disconnected the call. My second attempt today, I just hung up after waiting 28 min. Awful! I’ve given them many chances, this is not the first time this has happened to me.

Store shopping is convinient. The pharmacy not so much. It is disoeganized, under staffed, hours are wonky for lunch, some are rude, huge delays even for scheduled vaccinations.

If able - I would enter negative marks..... They have the worst customer service in the pharmacy!!! Hands down a don't care attitude. It doesn't matter what information you provide to them, they don't look or listen to what you are saying. The only response is "that is what the computer says". Don't use them - don't consider them!!!!

I will not be coming to this location anymore.... Not only do they have a more limited selection then other locations, but the pharmacy staff are rude and don't have a clue how to do their job, one specific is Shana, Everytime I have an encounter with her, she is never pleasant or helpful, it's like she has forgotten that, "if people are coming to the pharmacy, they are probably stressed due to an illness of some kind, so maybe I should be nice"!!!!

I just go here to buy Beanie Boos because this place along with CVS pharmacy and 7-11 are so close to where I live, it’s easy to buy some new beanies here. Great service!
