Well run pet resort. These people love and take care of our 2 dogs like they were their own family members. They always let me know how my pups are doing. They are diligent and careful. Helps me be at ease when I am out of town

I am just heartbroken, one of the caregivers at Pet Galaxy, Kalee, is now gone. She and Ms. Kim always greeted my pup by name with sweet touches and hugs whenever we came for Puppy Day Care. They were the main reasons I felt good placing my trust and offered patronage to Pet Galaxy.We went today and the sweet puppy loving Kalee, whom Stewie and I looked forward to seeing, is now gone. She knew us by name and always made us feel welcomed and cared for. I asked about Kalee and was told she no longer works there. That just kills my heart. We loved her.(We love precious Ms. Kim too, but she wasn't there either today so it was just a sad bummer day...)Instead of the regular joyious visit to puppy daycare, the guy who regularly makes us wait, who never even looks at my pup, nor offers eye contact or much more than a halfway cold greeting was the one who was there today. His coldness always makes me cringe whenever he is there, but I find relief when either sweet Kalee or Ms. Kim come to take my little guy to play. There wasn't that today. Just the cringe element... 😬I learned he is actually the owner. (What?!) I was pretty surprised that an owner of such a place could conduct homself the way he does. I always have thought he was just an akward fill in. He never really greets us nor even acknowledges my little Stewie. He is more interested in talking on the phone discussing his wedding plans or SLOWLY going over services and billing with people while I stand there with my pup, or have to sit down to play with him to keep him from barking when he gets anxious to leave. The way the owner treats us results in me feeling like we are disregarded, ignored, and unimportant when the owner has been the one to check us in or out. The owner doesn't really seem to care about the clients in front of him.Bottom line, people carry vibes and animal people are special. I look for that special Light that will recognize the little soul of my Stewie and be kind and caring towards him. The owner doesn't have this Light and doesn't seem to care about the pups or the pet owners that are face to face using the services offered. It just feels sad and cringe worthy when he is there. I no longer feel safe leaving my little guy here if he is just a number and not recognized. We won't be back.Grooming:A few weeks ago I had set up a grooming appointment since I was hoping to find someone close. (We are relatively new to Blanco.) I thought my appointment was at 8:30 am and I was on my way with my little guy when I got a call from the groomer at about 8:25. He informed me my appointment was at 8 am and I was late. I explained my mix up and told him I was almost there and could he please groom him. We had waited weeks for the appointment. He said he couldn't take my little guy now because I was too late and he didn't have time for him now, I had missed my appointment, and would have to reschedule but openings were again weeks down the line. I told him I would have to call back since I was driving.Later called back to reschedule, I appologized for my misunderstanding and again was given an 8 am appointment. I asked for something later. It turns out that all dogs getting groomed have to be brought in BEFORE OR BY 8 am and are held for the convenience of the groomer. I get that to a certain extent, but basically it appears the groomer was unwilling to budget time and work on the clients that were already there the day we had our appointment. The attitude presented by the groomer came across to me as that of a Prima Donna and that my pup's grooming was an inconvenience to him. I called back and canceled because I had fears the groomers priorities could cause him to be impatient with my pup. It is my job to keep my little guy safe always even if all I have to go on is just reading verbal exchanges with care or service givers.

Have taken my dog three times just for grooming. They do a good job on the cut and I have no service complaints. But she is always traumatized for days when we get her back, won't come to us, won't play, won't even go to the bathroom. At first I thought she would get better as she got used to it but its gotten worse each time. I'm not sure what they are doing but they may need to look at their process and find whatever it is that might traumatize the animals. The last time I picked her up, I had to get her out of the "drying cage" myself because she was so freaked out she wouldn't even come to ME much less the staff. The "drying cage" was essentially just a wire kennel with a couple industrial sized fans pointed into it, blowing on her non-stop for who knows how long. And thats just the part of the process I SAW. Won't be taking her back there. They also went up in price this last time which is now nearly double our new place.

We picked up our pup yesterday from her first visit 7 days. Here’s what we loved: 1) the people- from the wonderful gal behind the desk checking us out to the lovely lady that brought our dog out 2) the care - our pup licks her hair off when nervous, and she had zero lick spots! We are so happy and wanted to thank the kind staff and team at Pet Galaxy. We will be back! Thank you so much!

UPDATED: Well, it's not a Club Med for dogs like Pet Paradise or Lucy's, but it has lots of running room for my active dogs and did have a great staff. Front desk girl (Karlee) was a fireball and the center of the centrifuge, where everything spun off of her, across the doggie campus like a "glitter bomb- if you know what a "glitter bomb" is, then you know that Karlee is the best!! With her gone and the owner running it... is the wrong phrasing => With her gone and the owner running it down 👎it's just not the same place!!

Kalee USED TO run that place like the Activities Director on Love Boat. My fur-babies couldn't wait to get there to play and couldn't wait to get home to sleep off all the excitement of the day!! IT WAS 5 stars.4/10 UPDATE: NOW Kalee's gone, and so am I...The owner took her place but should have remained a silent partner. He screwed me on a recent bill despite having 5-7 more free daycare visits to go. I have already turned him in to my bank's fraud dept for double dipping/ billing.

I tried another board and care for my kitty. They do not measure up to Pet Galaxy in any way. It’s clean, with a 4 level condo with views of outside and/or the office lobby for your baby. I highly recommend them for 😻!

Absolutely the BEST doggy day care/boarding around. Lynn/Kim/Haleigh/Korrine are just wonderful. They go above and beyond for each of their fur babies. Our boy loves going to see them during the week and is so taken care of. I can't say enough great things about Pet Galaxy!

We've always taken our dog to pet Galaxy, every time we've taken him we've had some kind of issue. They would call the wrong phone number couldn't find the correct phone number, he would sit up there for hours until we called to see if he was ready. We were going to take him in this morning, and I always told us anytime after 8:00. So it's about 8:40 and Jeremy the groomer calls and says they can't take him in because he's got too much personal stuff to do besides his job. So we're never going back to pet Galaxy. And I would not recommend this place to anybody.

The Staff has made it very convenient to register and drop off your pet! Easy in and out, with many services in-between! I have used the overnight and long stay for Chico and I am sure he loved all the attention. I opted for extra play time for him during his last stay, as well as a spa day on his last day before I picked him up. He was very happy and clean. The facilities are clean and very well suited for all the staff can do for you.-Patrick Muirhead

I have left my Maltipoo and my cat a few times and they were great! The staff are so friendly and really care about your pet. I will continue to use Pet Galaxy forever, love these people!!

Sadie our Saint Bernard has been going to get groomed once a month for three years. Jeremy has been her groomer for the whole time. I am very impressed they have good staff with little or no turnover. Sadie enjoys going and Jeremy is great with her.Thanks much

We were very pleased with the care our fur baby received at Pet Galaxy. Staff was very nice and seemed to genuinely enjoy caring for our Border Collie. It was the first time our dog didn't get kennel cough after being boarded, so they obviously do a great job at disinfecting! We will be using Pet Galaxy on a regular basis.

My puppy cried all the way home , she was seriously dehydrated and starving not sure what happened 😢when we picked her up. Everyone seemed nice. But puppy drank and drank but cried for 19 miles until we got home with water and food.

It took 6 weeks to get my dog a grooming appointment. The groomer did a good job. I rebooked the next appointment as I left. When I came in for the appointment, I was informed there was no appointment made. No apology, no offer for accommodation was made. I was treated like I was delusional instead of acknowledging that an error may have been made by their staff. I chose Pet Galaxy because they also offer boarding. My plan was to see how they managed grooming before boarding. I certainly won’t be boarding there after the horrible customer service experience I had.

We have boarded our “Sweet Gus” here for a of couple years. This past Christmas when we boarded him they found a mass under his tail and told us to get it looked at ASAP.We did, and it was cancer. We had it removed the week after boarding. Luckily it did not spread. :). We are VERY THANKFUL for the staff at Pet Galaxy and for finding the mass. We get a few more years with Gus and are so very lucky! THANK YOU PET GALAXY and STAFF! Highly recommend;)

Pet Galaxy is a beautiful, nature bountiful place that my pup loves to go. They have always been great with my sometimes challenging dog and love him like their own. They're very knowledgeable and kind with all of their dogs and owners. They have always been accommodating to me and my dogs needs. I live an hour and a half away, but this place is absolutely worth the drive! Love these people and their resort!

My most recent experience did not live up to all of the hype and I really wanted it to. I took my dog in for a bath and furminator which at the time I was told it would take 2 hours. I was called and told my dog was ready to be picked up. I drove back to pick up my dog. When I arrived I was told my dog was not ready, but if I wanted to take him home he was only half way dry. My dog has long hair so I did not want a half wet dog. And then one of the other employees said it takes at least 4 hours for them to dry. Ugh! So I went back home and waited. After a couple hours had passed I called them to check on my dog. After a brief hold I was told he was ready to be picked up. When I asked how long he had been ready I was told that she did not know because she had just returned from lunch. So I made third trip to pick up my dog and was not even given so much as an apology for my inconvenience and interruption to my workday. That would have gone a long way and I would have given them more stars even though there was a mishap.

If I could give a rating higher than 5, I would.Today I picked up my one-year-old Labrador Retriever, Molly, from Pet Galaxy's two-week Lodge and Learn training program. I enrolled Molly after being exceedingly pleased with Molly's socialization and development the past nine-months from her participating two days a week in Pet Galaxy's Play Care program.After an extraordinary one-on-one "Exit" class with Frank, the Chief trainer, I watched Molly work with Frank without Molly knowing I was there. I was absolutely amazed. As Frank walked Molly, Molly paid close attention to ensure that she followed Frank's lead as she walked courteously by Frank's side as he turned, pivoted, sped up, and slowed. When Frank stopped, Molly immediately stopped and sat at his side, and then laid down on command. When Frank entered the building, Molly sat politely at the door until Frank entered and she remained there until Frank invited Molly in. Frank then gave Molly a down and stay command, and Molly remained in place for many minutes with numerous distractions. Molly got up and moved only when released with a come command.Thanks to Pet Galaxy, it's professional, friendly staff, and Frank, I now have a beautiful, loving, playful, well-trained, well-behaved dog. On top of it all, Frank took hours to teach me how to transition Molly from Lodge and Learn to our home and how to maintain her excellent training and behavior.I could not be more pleased. Pet Galaxy will be my go-to place for all of Molly's non-vet needs. After having good Labrador Retrievers almost all of my sixty-nine years of life, I have never experienced a more effective, pet loving pet place. The "cherry on top" is that Molly absolutely loves spending time at Pet Galaxy; and if she's not with me, that's where I want Molly to be.

My kitties spent 9 days in the Cat room while I was on vacation. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable about caring for my pets. One of my cats did not arrive in the best mood, they were very patient with her and knew that she was stressed. They handled her with care. When I called to check the next day, the staff was very kind and answered all my annoying pet mom questions... and every time I called they were very friendly and patient! I will definitely continue to board my pets with Pet Galaxy.

Love the people here and the atmosphere. Plenty of space for my two puppies to be together. Lots of natural light. What sold me was the indoor and outdoor space in the same kennel so they can go back and forth through a doggy door flap. It felt very open. No closed in ceilings . It seemed like a happy place if you have to board your dog. Plus lots of love for them and plenty of potty breaks in their own little yard. They are chihuahuas under a year old so I was concerned about their safety. They kept them in a kennel close to the front which made me happy. I highly recommend Pet Galaxy.

Pet Galaxy was there when we needed them, & we appreciated their boarding & looking after JACK during our urgent time away. It appears that PG caters and cares for mostly very large dogs; however JACK is a small dog , 9-10 lbs, and in his senior years. I’d recommend Pet Galaxy - especially for large to very large dogs. There’s a lot of outdoor, open space and plenty other dogs for socializing.

Pet Galaxy is the best! Do not hesitate to give a call & take your animals there! The staff is super with my dog, a rescued senior Doberman: 5 🐾 rated! They helped me out on moving day with an emergency overnight boarding stay & were Lifesavers! Can't say enough great things about the knowledgeable & courteous staff & care provided for my fur baby! DO NOT LEAVE YOUR BABIES HERE!!! They have not taken any responsibility in the poor care that my fur baby endured. She had a 12 day stay with this kennel and returned to me with sores on her hind legs. Their customer service and communication is poor to say the least. There was a lack of care or concern, they played the blame game.

The Spring Branch TX Pet Galaxy staff was excellent. Very friendly, accommodating and welcoming. It was obvious they loved dogs. I felt comfortable leaving my dog in their care overnight. He was groomed the following day and ready for pick up in the late afternoon. All in all it was a very good experience.
