During my bathroom remodel, we found black mold under the shower and they were on top of it! I leaned heavily on Darla for design choices and asked a million questions. After getting a few quotes - we decided to go with Designer wood flooring to restore our original wood floors from the 50s. Not only did they have a similar quote to everyone else, they promised to get out our black stains (from pet urine) either with sanding or replacing the boards if need be. We didn't get that promise from others, we actually were told by other companies they wouldn't come out. They explained to us maybe 5 days and were done in 4! Always on time, actually 15min early which I appreciate! They did an amazing job and so happy that we chose Designer Wood Flooring. I would 100% recommend to anyone looking to invest in some beautiful floors.

Such a wonderful experience. the entire team from the owners to the techs were very personable and wonderful to work with. The techs were very efficient, professional, and completed the job when the promised.while they were moving our furniture out to the bedroom to replace our carpet with wood floors, one of the techs found and envelope we had under there with Money in it (I had forgot that it was there). they could have very easily kept that money but did not, they returned it.great company, if you are looking to have flooring done.Professional, customer oriented, efficient, and Trustworthy.Service: Wood floor sanding

If I could Darla and Terry 10 stars I would! They are both honest, patient and incredibly responsive. Darla was so kind and patient with me as I took (literally) months to decide which materials I wanted and how to mix them together. She has a great eye and helped me select ones that tied everything together. During the actual demo/remodel, Darla and/or Terry came by every day and were super-responsive to texts/calls. (They also repaired work done incorrectly by the builder-- their guys stayed late until it was done.) Everything during the remodel went quick and smoothly, and the craftsmanship is fantastic. I contacted Terry and Darla after a dear friend's passing. I needed floor repairs completed so I could list the house but had to wait a few weeks until the beneficiaries came to collect everything from the house. Terry and Darla were extremely accommodating and had everything picked out and ready to go as soon as I asked for the work to start. The work was done ahead of schedule, under budget, and looked absolutely perfect. Additionally, only 50% was required up front and the final payment was made once the work was completed and inspected by me. I would not hesitate to give Designer Wood Flooring my business again if I ever needed flooring repaired or installed in the future.

I cannot believe this company has 30, 5 star reviews. My father recently employed Designer Wood Flooring to install solid wood flooring in two, perfect rectangular bedrooms. The installers were completely incompetent. They came with dull tools, had to ask my dad for help because they didn't know how to do some of the steps, created a mess with wood glue and trim, and did not clean up their mess upon completion. My dad had to call the owner multiple times to fix some of the problems. In the end, my dad had to finish the floors, clean up their mess, and re-install trim himself. The hours he spent fixing and cleaning up their mess was equivalent to him installing the floors himself. Designer Wood Flooring did not offer to discount the labor when the labor should in fact been non-existent. My dad basically gave the owner's son and his buddies a class on how to install wood flooring. What a joke. Do not employee this company to install flooring unless you want a complete disaster. Designer Wood Flooring: you should be embarrassed for putting your name on that kind of work...Service: Install flooring

My family has been renovating my Dad's house in the area where hurricane Harvey damaged many homes. Through my contractor, I found Designer Wood Flooring. What a blessing. They worked around my schedule, showed up on time, worked hard and refinished the 62 year old original solid oak floors in a living room, 3 bedrooms and a hallway. They did a beautiful job, they were very fair, and really pleasant to work with. I highly recommend them--they will travel anywhere to get it done. I would call them again in a heartbeat for renovation or new construction. They are very experienced--definitely a 5-star company!
