Can’t say enough about Ariel at South Bark! Have 2 mini Aussies and she did a great trim up as well as blow out of coat! She was short handed that day and still got them done when promised. Kudo’s to this great South Padre Island business!!

The girls are great. Max loved being able to play with other dogs while he waited to be groomed. He loved it so much that he was kept longer so that his new friends could go home and he would settle down enough to be groomed. He looked and smelled so good when he was done. The girls obviously love their work and will do exactly what you ask of them as to your pet's look.

Visiting for the holidays and my poodle needed a bath and left word and promptly the next day Nicole called me back and I had an appointment at 11:30. She did an excellent job and was very professional and proficient.Will return again. Thanks Itchy is really happy and feels soooo good.

Brenda was very patient with Lulu. It was Lulu’s first grooming. Brenda explained what she would do and made me feel very comfortable. She went above and beyond by adding bows. I am so pleased with the results. The cut is perfect for Lulu! I’d recommend Brenda and South Bark Grooming to everyone!

Took my 28 lb trained dog there for the first time. After an hour they called to tell me she was ready. They told me my dog was sweet and cooperated with the nail trimming and bath. When I picked her up, my doggie was totally confused, couldn’t orient herself, wouldn’t walk as if totally lost… 4 hours later she’s still confused. Well, they drugged her and nobody told me they do that or asked me or anything. I guess that’s their way to make the dog “cooperate” and be a “good dog”. Never again!

I scheduled with the owner for a grooming and staying over night since we were flying out of the RGV. The didn’t show, didn't return calls and were closed on the day schedule. Thankful trip saved by a grooming kennel in Harlingen. Thank you Texas Pet report. South Bark out lots of stress on us.

My fur babies always look amazing and they have no issues when I go to leave. They treat them like their own and I feel comfortable knowing I'm leaving them in safe and caring hands, not to mention how cute they look when they're done. They even groom our cat.

Took Gilbert in to have his nails trimmed. Best nail job he's ever had. Walked in, and she took him right away and was done in 5 minutes... on a Sunday no less. We live in San Antonio, and I'm gonna go to South Padre every time he needs a trim! I wish😁

We stopped by South Padre Island for several weeks. Our Aussies loved the beach; we didn't like the sandy results. We tried out the South Bark Groomers who did an excellent job. We had our dogs groomed twice with the same excellent results. Thanks!

2021 Took my Mini-Dach for a bath and haircut. Had a 930am appt. I called at noon , they said he wasnt ready. 45 mins after I called , he is ready. 930 appt ready at 1pm.Hmmm. Horrible job, cut his skin all over, We had to put anti-biotic on the cuts they did. You could tell they just blasted it out. He looked like he'd been in a dog fight. Plus he came home with fleas. This dog is 12 years old and has never had fleas, but , has them now. We know where they came from. Dog has a scar on his tail from last years cut. We thought we would give them another chance this year. It is worse. Stay Away!

I love the way my Cairn Terrier was cut and the care he was given. I'm a winter Texan and was worried but I highly recommend this place. Not a lot of groomers get a Cairn cut correctly .

We went on vacation for 3 days and I was worried how bear Jr was going to act without me being there with him but I'm glad he was being a good boy and playing with others. Lexus was texting me every night how he was doing and that gave me peace of mind over all this is a great place to watch your dog and groom I really recommend this place.
