The condo was nice and clean.The beds were very comfortable. Very close to everything and the beach couldn’t get any closer ❤️. Great that you could see both sunrise and sunset at the condo. Staff was easily available and were awesome during our stay. Definitely, will stay here again!

We stayed at Beachview #306 from 1/15-3/12/24 and would NOT use this rental company again. We spent most of our time going to the office and requesting items to be fixed, following up to see when they would be fixed and then requesting new items to be taken care of. I am not sure what Padre Island Rentals are supposed to be doing as a rental company, but if I was an owner and paying them money, I would definitely look at changing companies.The ONLY positive experience we had the entire two months were Alberto and David in the office and the laundry staff were excellent to work with. The location of the building is wonderful as well as the pool and courtyard area.When we arrived our coffee pot had such huge layer of burnt coffee on the burner it only smoked when you turned it on, we had two glass drinking glasses, master bedroom curtains were hanging by three hooks, cabinet next to dishwasher looked like termites had eaten most of it, furniture was filthy, dishwasher unusable due to rusted prongs and a big pile of dirt when I swept the floor. We had to keep the dishes on the counter because when you pulled them out of the cabinets to use the smell was so horrible you would have to rewash them before you could use them.All of these items we had to report and follow up on most of them. The amount of time we spent of our vacation getting the unit livable was unacceptable.We did receive a new coffee pot and four more glasses along with sheets to put on the furniture so we could sit on it the next day after reporting these items. We were told someone would come and fix the curtain rod the next day but was actually 12 days later as they had to order a new rod. (haven’t heard of Amazon?) They came and looked at the furniture and it was to be cleaned the next day but ended up being 8 days later. 16 days later a new dishwasher was installed.The toilet in the guest bathroom was running so maintenance came to fix it. It was so rusted he had to get a sawzall to cut off the bolts to fix it.Smoke alarm woke us up chirping as new batteries were needed. We also had to purchase new batteries for one of the remotes shortly after we arrived. When we told the front desk this they did provide us new remote batteries to replace what we purchased.We asked four times to have a meeting with management and we were told on four different occasions by Alberto that he had asked management to review our issues and get back to us. No-one ever had the courtesy to call or meet with us.As we were sitting at the pool during our stay, we visited with many other visitors and spoke of cost and what they were paying to stay. Not only did we get a dump of a unit that we had to take our time to bring up to living standards, we were paying almost $1,5000 more a month than anyone else in the complex. During our stay we went and visited seven other properties, two stand alone entire houses (both a full block from the beach) and five condos that were beachfront and all were at least $1,500 LESS than we were paying per month, and they were clean and move in ready. We we asked Alberto about the difference in the pricing his only answer was that they are able to get more for rentals because of their inventory. Again, we asked if we could speak with management but never a response.Not only is this unit very OVERPRICED compared to other properties on the island and very UNDER managed.Items we found unacceptable but did not pursue include the master bathroom cabinet door hinge ready to fall off, no baseboards under kitchen counter and bathroom and look like termites have eaten them, metal shelf over master bath stool legs are all rusted, walls and baseboards are dirty and need to be scraped and painted.

We rented a very nice condo from this company but found out the day before we went that the balcony was closed for repairs. This was noted at the very bottom of a lengthy description on the VRBO listing only. We contacted the owner and he was willing to let us cancel this booking and stay at another available unit at the same condo but management was unwilling to do this for us. I understand that these things happen and I either missed the note about the balcony or it was added on sometime after booking. Regardless, they could have easily accommodated us at the available unit (on the same floor of the same condo) but for whatever reason decided not to help us at all.

We just stayed at Aquarius 001 the pictures do not do it justice the views are breathtaking the staff is very friendly and keep the place immaculate. The owners have thought of everything from kitchen utensils to games and beach toys for the kids. From 1st check in to check out everyone is truly friendly.

We rented Gufview II unit 101. I assume the higher reviews were because of close proximity to pool and it being on bottom floor. It was seriously outdated, to the brink of being neglected.. (see pics). It WAS pretty clean and quiet until Saturday, which was fine by us. The reason for my 3 stars is that I could have paid the same price at a normal /upscale hotel. No bugs though and it was stocked (sparsely)... I don't regret the stay but I won't be staying again with SPI Rentals.

I would give ZERO stars if I could. Flew in from MN and it is our first day here. After a long day of traveling (up at 4am) I went to lay down in my bed and there are bed bugs in the main bedroom.(I would like to add they were adult bed bugs and after further research if you find an adult it has been there for WEEKS! How do the cleaning people not notice bed bugs?!) I immediately went to check on my 3 year old who is sleeping in the next room and THANKFULLY I didn't see anything in his bed. I am currently sitting on the couch of the Saida Towers Condos room 401 in building 4 (Which I might add I have been coming to Saida Towers for the past EIGHT years with NO issue) and all I was offered was a refund and was told I had to leave by morning as they need to come clean. They refused to help me get another place to stay. It is currently 11:02pm on a Thursday night so going into the weekend where now I will have to pay DOUBLE what I was before for a room. When I asked if we could move to another room they had I was told no and that I needed to go to a hotel or use another company. We spent over $300 on items for the fridge that now I have no idea what I am suppose to do with if I can't get another condo. I booked through VRBO and I am waiting for a call from them to help me find a place to stay as Padre Island Rentals wouldn't help. I now have to wait 7-10 business days for a refund AND now I need to front more money to find a different place to stay. Short beach getaway with my son turned into a living nightmare. We ended up leaving to get a hotel at 12am as we then also found a cockroach. VERY disappointed with Padre Island Rentals and their lack of empathy (just offered a refund and said we were on our own at 11pm at night) and ambition to help right their wrong especially since I had a 3 year old with me.On a positive note I did like that there was a tote of beach toys in the main closet that we could use to make "memories" as the note said. (not that we can use them now)

I had no issues with the company. They had great communication and the property was clean and as advertised. After cross referencing the same places with other travel sites, they were cheaper and had an on-island presence. The condo itself was nice, but definitely dated and could use a remodel. The condo location was nice and a short walk to the beach. My only real complaint was some of the pools had people blasting their personal music, but my guess is that happens everywhere.

We have rented from PI Rentals for 8 years and they never disappoint. Check in/out is easy. They were very helpful and attentive this past week when the AC went out in our condo! They found us a comparable condo the next day to finish out our week on the island and gave us a free night! Robert and Matthew were very professional especially during my rant! We will always book thru Padre Island Rentals.

We stayed in the Saida III Room 3042 bedroom 2 bathroom condo. The checkin process was easy and convenient. When we arrived at the condo we found that it was roomy, nicely decorated and has beautiful flooring. However, the door, fridge door, microwave door, walls, and kitchen cabinets were dirty. They had not been cleaned and had dirt and dried food, etc on them. There was a dirty pizza slicer in the dishwasher as well. I had to clean those things when we arrived.The beds and floors were nice and clean though. The bathrooms were small and the master bathroom toilet paper holder was ready to fall off the wall. The master bedroom blinds were missing pieces and needed replaced. The master bedroom faces the large pool area and the condo is on the 3rd floor so people can see right inside since blinds missing. The master bathroom shower handle is broken and would take sometimes almost 15 minutes to get the water on the right temperature. You had to push in and turn just right to get it to turn on. The shower holds water and leaks. There is a mold problem in the walls and needs repairs. My husband has a chronic lung disease and he coughed a lot while there due to the mold. I had previously asked the gentleman prior to booking about this since I read some about this on a previous post. He stated, that if there were issues back in January then they were addressed. Clearly they have not been addressed!I feel the unit has been neglected and that is sad because it is a beautiful place otherwise.I feel we paid a little over price for having to clean and with the mold issue.The resort does have 3 pools, 3 hot tubs, tennis courts and shuffle boards. It has a couple tiki huts but had limited hours to get food or drinks. The staff are friendly. You have a short walk to the beach and it is all on a deck path which is nice. We had cute little creatures visit us each day at the pool & beach.The kitchen was fully stocked and that was nice. They have a stackable washer and dryer in the unit which was very convenient. There were no TV in the bedrooms. The balcony was very nice and large but unfortunately couldn't enjoy it because they did not have any furniture but one couch like furniture and it was older and very wet.The large pool was too cold so we and most guests swam in the 2 smaller pools daily.It's close to attractions. They stock it for the essentials first supplies. They you have to restock.I would stay again in a different condo unless they fix the issues in this one.We unfortunately had people above us staying that threw trash over the balcony and then was using roller blades all hours of the day and night. Some nights until 1am.Enjoyed our stay otherwise.Thank you,Heather

We were booked for Beach House 502 and were informed the morning of our arrival that the elevator was out and would be out the entire stay. You offered 2 “upgrades” and we chose Seville 406 due to a lower elevation preference.While we appreciate the upgrade there were negatives. On a positive note the unit was larger, the layout nice and mostly comfortable. The negatives, however, are numerous:• All walls and woodwork needed painting; bathroom molding needed replacing; multiple holes in bedroom walls needed drywall fix• The kitchen cabinet doors were dirty and we had to wipe them down• We found many dishes in cupboards that were washed inadequately – much within cupboards we rewashed• The kitchen water filter does not work; we bought bottled water• The door to the furnace and broom storage had 2 of three hinges not attached; unit didn’t have a broom- we picked up at officeWe raised our concerns about the quality of the unit and pricing disconnect within the first 2 days via email and 2 phone calls. We feel victims of bait and switch, having paid for a well-maintained unit. The phone calls always promised a manager would get back to us. This never happened. The lack of customer service is very disappointing and will be a factor when we return to the island in the future.

Do not use Padre Island Rentals. They didn't correct problems with odor, mold and maggots in our condo. They did not respond to emails. I filed a formal complaint and got no response. When I went in to talk to them personally he did nothing, just smiled and said they would get back to me. I didn't hear another word. Terrible. Don't use them.

They failed to mention the beach would be blocked off and under construction while we were there. We stayed at the inverness and it was terrible! The water was nasty and it smelled like raw sewage. The water was super murky and smelly.The staff at padre island rentals were rude, uninformed and dishonest about the situation at the beach. We will never book with padre island rentals again!!!!!!!!!!!

The place was clean but the Utensils and the dishes and the things that you would find in a kitchen were old and just odds and end stuff like one plastic bowl no lid all things I would throw out and nothing nice in their to use it was sad and the couch and rug needed cleaned you could tell it was a rental The coffee pot was ok and the place was clean and the view was good the patio furniture was uncomfortable It would have been nice to have some nice things to use in the kitchen. And comfortable patio furniture.

We had a nice stay at our condo. The deck was spacious and gave a great view of the ocean. Disappointed that the weather was overcast most days with foggy haze, maybe it always is this time of year? The beds and linens were very comfortable. The bathrooms were rather outdated. The bathroom sink counters were too low and the tub/shower enclosure was old but the showerhead gave a good wash. A bit inconvenient as well to drive to get fresh linens during the week, a washer and dryer would have been nice to have available for wet beach towels and clothing. The pools and hot tubs were nice but not maintained well, one hot tub nearest to us was not functioning. Another one had only two jets working, and another was ice cold. We thought one of the pools was heated, but none of them were warm. The patio furniture and lounge chairs were nice and plentiful. We had a fun time, but some things could have been a bit better!

This is a lovely condo, and the views to east, south and west are spectacular. Everything was clean and up to date. My only complaint was that there were no instructions as to how to use the electric blinds (took a while to figure those out) and the televisions. Also, as we lost electricity on the last night, a working flashlight and some candles would have been helpful.

We had the best time! Our unit was awesome, clean and had everything we needed. The pool and hot tub were clean and wonderful. The entire grounds were well kept up, comfy chairs, a grill, and loved the gated in part! Truly was a great trip. Thank you, we will be back! Terry and Joyce Nesvold

We stayed at Sunchase IV 721 and just let me say the location was prime real estate. The view was awesome from every angle but the place was very dated and needs a serious modern time upgrade. If you like taking nice hot showers better make them quick the hot water doesn't last long. But for the most part the place was great. The staff member was friendly. It was very easy to check in and out. We had a decent experience.

The photos do not match what you get in person. The condo needs updating thru out with exception to the master bathroom and flooring. Broken and outdated furniture, mix matched and old kitchen items. All appliances are older and basic. The walls, ceilings, and baseboards are stained and in poor condition. The worst was the front bathroom. It was comparable to a gas station restroom from the 80's.The complex was very loud at night with partying spring breakers. I was told that due to the minimum age requirement there would be no wild situations at this condo. I don't mind the loud Spring Beak moments, but at one point it seemed out of control and someone banged on our door in the middle of the night, people screaming and yelling upstairs, people in the hot tub partying at 4am every-night.The location was great. The condo was very clean despite the condition. The grounds were nice and clean. The balcony and the view were nice. I appreciated the security measures, but I don't feel the $33 per person charged for the wrist band provided any value.

Check in procedure was absolutely horrible. Inaccurate and incorrect information provided ahead of time by management company. Complete disorganization when we called trying to check in. Room wasn’t ready. Office staff was rude on phone, dismissive and impolite in person.WILL NOT RENT FROM THEM AGAIN.Edited to add: had to return to management company to retrieve keys. While there, manager approached and became confrontational, seemingly aggravated that we had expressed or frustration with their ineffective operations. Repeatedly told him my children where waiting in SUV, he continued badgering insisting he needed to give me more excuses...Seriously, the condo is decent. The management isn’t even operating at 3rd world standards. avoid at all costs.

Padre Island Rentals were very easy to work with and very thorough. The gentleman that greeted us at the office was very nice and was a font of knowledge about the island. Suntide II 204 was in a perfect spot , right on the beach. The heated pool and hot tub were very nice. There were stores and restaurants within easy walking distance. Our unit could use a little sprucing up but was lovely and exactly what we needed. A great addition would be a cutting board in the kitchen. Overall it was an excellent experience and would definitely recommend!

We rented sanctuary 1. We had 1 issue with a broken toilet handle, was fixed within 2 hours. Staff at check in were amazing! Nice folks. Photo's are accurate. Nice place for 4 people. 6 would be crowded. It's a good deal for the price. The pool is clean and well maintained. The unit was very clean. Sand gets everywhere, so we bought some dollar store towels to put at each door to help keep the sand in check. ( This is not a criticism, just an fyi). All the drink wear is glass, so buy solo cups. Plenty of dish wear. Blenders top is missing. Quiet neighborhood.if you are in the lower unit you hear stomping from the upper unit all day and night.. Basicallywhen anyone walks up there. . The couches are very worn, stained and sandy ( see picture) We put bedsheets over them. The coffee table and other tables are very chipped, stained etc. The sheets and towels were clean, beds very comfortable. The bed spreads are badly in need of replacement. Bed pillows a bit flat, but pretty much the norm for a rental.All in all, for the price it's a good deal. If I were to return to the island I would stay here, but in an upper unit!

Condo was very clean, staff were helpful and kind, and facilities clean. Feel condo could benefit from some minor bathroom updates (faucets and grout in need of some attention) but all shown accurately in pictures and location is perfect. Also, maybe add some more plastic/plexiglass cups for kids and to protect against dropping on tile/breaking. Travel coffee cups would also be helpful for pool/walks/beach drinks! Overall will likely return!
