You find everything you are looking for in your vacation stay. Prices higher than a Walmart or HEB, but still reasonable. Ample parking. You find: snacks, dairy products, sausages, bread, mayonnaise, ketchup, water, assorted beer, ice, a wide assortment of basic medicines, toilet paper, soft drinks, disposables. Gas. Among many other products. It's like a slightly more expensive mini walmart. It does not have bathrooms, pee before you come =P

The coolers are broken but other than that I was able to find everything else I needed. The staff was helpful and friendly. Will shop here in the future.

Really convenient down the street from my motel. Prices a little high, but expected being on the island. The only gripe would be the associates act like your bothering them always!

Great staff!!! Always acknowledge customers, offer to help you with whatever you're looking for. Super friendly management, as well. The downside would be not enough cashiers. I'm LITERALLY standing in line at this very moment leaving a comment hoping an owner of this company reads it. I just saw a family of 5 in front of me, sat down their items and leave the store bc the line is soo long. It's the busiest time of year for this location and customers are leaving bc they can't check out within a reasonable amount of time.

Very dimly lit and messy. There was stuff disorganized and thrown everywhere. I was able to get a cute top here. Beach accessories are cheaper than the tourist traps, but they dnt have a lot of options to choose from and the beach ball your wanting may actually be hidden down the toilet paper aisle.

I went in for a few things. I couldn’t find what I needed and I kept looking down the aisle. Two ladies were in the aisle. They never offered help. One of them was talking to someone on her personal phone. She had her earbuds in and talking to someone on the phone. One of them would cut by me almost bumping to me and when I walked out of the aisle she would litterally be “hot on my tail.” It was a young girl with short curly hair. I almost turned around and asked her back off. I finally found what I needed and got in line. There were 3 or 4 people working the floor while one person was ringing up customers. There were 10 people in line with me. Then 3 more showed up. All while one cashier did all the work who wouldn’t give me a bag for my items. Luckily one fit in my purse and the other I carried. I walked to their store. I would have appreciated a bag and better service.

My 4 year old daughter gives the best referral as she refers to this place as, "the fancy dollar general."Probably the nicest one we have ever been to. It's a standard dollar general, however it is organized, clean, and has friendly staff. The "fancy" exterior matches the interior. Dont mind that it is one of th only places on the island to get necessities. I prefer to shop here over some of the gas stations on the strip.

The store from the outside was modern looking and a free standing building. They had a lot of essentials from food to flip flops. However the sizes of flip flops were limited, especially for a toddler. They even sold cigarettes. I was not so impressed with the fact that you needed to get a key from the front to use the restroom, it was a bit inconvenient. The associate who checked us out was friendly and made us feel valued.

Best dollar store I've ever been to. I went to the larger supermarket nearby and couldn't find ground cumin and sewing kit. Decided to give Dollar General a try and ended up finding both of those things. Great selection of stuff and also pretty clean. A life saver.

My favorite go to while in the island. This dollar general was well stocked with everything I needed and forgot to bring. Lots of frozen food options and best if all non island prices. Highly recommend

Got there as usual 1 slow checker, 5 people in line to check out ! spent 15 minutes as shelves were mostly empty Monday! They can’t tell what isle something is one, ONE EMPLOYEE HOLDING BACK DOOR OPEN, other checking. Don’t think she understands much English, you say something she nods her head.. cheaper than MARLIN, but some sizes are smaller than norm..

Items were plentiful, had what I needed. Store as a whole was in general disarray, however. Very messy feeling. Staff didn’t provide hardly any care, even to the extent of texting while checking us out. Unlikely to return.

The Dg here is amazing! It was big and the employees were helpful. They lost a star because they were out of a bunch of stuff. I felt like they needed another employee just to stock the shelves.

Nicer building for a Dollar general but if you need ada ramps then prepare for a heck of a winding staircase. Nice to get everyday hygiene, food, last minute items at a fair price.

We had to get some last minute items before heading to the the beach. The store was very busy but they had 3 registers open and were moving the customers through quickly. Overall a good experience

As far as Dollar General's go, this one is one of the biggest I've seen. Many beach themed items here. You should probably check here before spending more at other locations. I was definitely able to find all I needed to stock my stay at SPI.

This location has a nice variety of different dog treats. We stopped in because we forgot to bring some from home, they had more of a selection than the supermarket down the road.

I was on South paudre went to the dollar store to pick up a few things that we needed and was attacked by a crazy black woman running around raving dancing through the store calling me horrible names I did not say anything trying to keep from anything getting started and It was the most horrible experience ever. The lady at checkout never said a word and acted as if they were friends like it was just an everyday occurrence I was on vacation and it is sad that my memory from mytrip will be The dollar store.

Not your typical Dollar General, they have a little bit of everything. Groceries, cosmetics, first aid and medicines, beer and wine, even some clothes and beach supplies. Great prices and a good place to find little things you may have forgotten for your vacation.
