While on the island we visited Daddy’s Restaurant. Inside of the restaurant was pretty basic and almost had like a fast food type feel to it with a bar and TV’s. The food was pretty decent. The calamari gave you a nice portion. The wings and fettuccine we didn’t really want any of the seafood which is what they are known for. The drinks were tasty and we got a souvenir cup to keep nice. Our food came out pretty fast and it was hot. Our server Didn’t come back to check on us or refill our water specially, since it wasn’t very busy and a lot of servers were just standing around. Overall restaurant was good. I would go back.

The food was really good, as well as the amount served. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and offered several recommendations. It didn't take long for the food to arrive. Everything was very well seasoned and delicious. The decorations around the restaurant were cool. Our only complaint was the lady taking pictures. She asked us to pose for several shots, after food arrived and we were eating, she came back with the printer pictures. I was enjoying my dinner and didn't really want to make a decision about buying one. She seemed annoyed and said she would return to her booth. We agreed to visit on our way out. When we finished our meal there she was peddling her pictures. $20 for 1 or two for thirty. We just dropped a fair amount on our meal, which was very well worth it, but now we're supposed to spend more for a memory of us eating there?

The food overall was very good, and took a reasonable amount of time to be cooked, and then brought out to my table. The serving sizes for the majority of the meals that my party ordered for very generous in size. The only thing I have negative to say for this experience was an appetizer that we ordered . although it was almost flawless , it had about a quarter of it that was not fully cooked all the way. But the service from our server was phenomenal, and she was quick to fix the mistake when we told her that our appetizer was not fully cooked. She quickly offered to take it to the back and have it cooked for a little longer for us in the fryer. Besides that one error I have to say that my family and I had a nice time, and enjoyed our meal

Had a great experience eating here this weekend. The wife really enjoyed her Cajun crab boil. My burger was good and so was my sons chicken fingers.We got seated immediately on a Saturday. Server was very friends and he was attentive. Place is not cheap, but seems to be worth it. We will try this again when we return.Parking: Park on the backside of the restaurant.

We had the soup and salad combo and it was delicious. We had the shrimp gumbo and clam chowder and both were great. Our only complaint was the soup was supposed to come in bread Bowls but they were out. They did substitute garlic but hello..nothing beats a bread bowl. The decor and vibe of the restaurant were really cool..they have alligator greeters.

Had the Blackened Red Snapper & fried oysters 😋Rarely do I get such an amazing experience. Flavor? No shortage here. My taste buds were very pleasantly surprised 😍👏🏼 I would highly recommend checking this place out. 👍🏼👍🏼🏝🤯🎣I thoroughly enjoyed the large portion size 😀 Seriously delicious 😋I'll be back. Block away from beaches ⛱️ great meal great afternoon. Food was very bland. Food was cooked in bag. Shrimp looked like bait Shrimp. Crab legs was cut at base. I think the butter in a cup was actually grease. Very dark with grit in the bottom like recycled oil. The price was so high, 49.99 a plate, you would think the food would be great. I was so wrong. Will not be back. The environment was not inviting, looked like mardi grass was going on. The waitress also was lacking. Checked on us 2 times in an hour, but once i asked for check, took her 20 minutes to come back while she stood in the corner talking. She looked at me 3 times. I tried to wave her over, but no she didn't come. Very bad experience. 👎

We've always wanted to try this place every time we would come to the island, and today was the day. I'm sure glad we made the stop. The food was delicious, and server was friendly and attentive. My plate was the red snapper rockefeller. The sauce was amazing, it was the icing on the cake. My wife had the shrimp tacos and they were good. The appetizer was really delicious and we almost ate it before I remembered to take a picture.

I left feeling disappointed and slightly used after leaving this restaurant. The prices were relatively high and the food was mediocre(I order fish and couldn't eat it). I've eaten better for less. But the tipping point was 20% tip that was automatically added onto our bill with a 7 person group (a heads up before ordering would have been nice). That increased a $250 to a $310 with just the tip. All things considered it was not a pleasant dinning experience.

Was absolutely fantastic. Could be four stars but the service and fix on a mistake makes them earn that fifth star. Ordered a cup of shrimp gumbo, Ethans Crab Cakes(bartender recommended), and the Blackened Red Fish Rockefeller. I also ordered a Mango Chamoy margarita, which was delicious and a Moscow Mule. The shrimp gumbo was good but could've been better. Possibly might be just my taste preference and lack of knowledge when it comes to true gumbo. The Ethans Crab Cakes were absolutely fantastic. Highly recommend trying it and enough for two. The Blackened Ref Fish Rockefeller is where the mistake came in. The cheese sauce was unfortunately cold. They quickly fixed it when I asked about. Super delicious and definitely a big dish. You get what you paid for and more. Will definitely tell others to come try Daddys Seafood & Cajun Kitchen.

WoW great atmosphere and friendly staff! Issac was attentive and very friendly,To start we had the fried pickles and a cup of shrimp gumbo, the gumbo had a smoky taste which I didn’t enjoy, The crawfish needed a little extra kick but was cooked to perfection and the bib was super cute! Also had the fried shrimp and the shrimp etouffee .. now the shrimp etouffee had a smoky taste to it which I didn’t enjoy however some may like that style, the shrimp lightly breaded and hit the spot! They also had plenty of Daddy’s apparel for purchase, this place is huge and has a beautiful upstairs dining room that the host was super nice and showed me around upstairs, there’s a bar and loads of seating, there’s a small stage that could accommodate small bands, so if you’re in the area stop by. Over all the atmosphere won us over, but we have to go back to try some other dishes to seal the deal!!!

I will say I am impressed by their service. The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo and the shrimp gumbo let’s just say it didn’t stand a chance. I would definitely recommend. They have a picture of miles Davis and other cool wall art. There is a lot of things too take a picture with.Kid-friendliness: Very Kid Friendly family atmosphere

We had a great lunch here today! The popcorn shrimp appetizer was really good. My husband got the fried shrimp and fish combo, while I got the Musette (pictured). It was all SO delicious and well flavored. Our waiter was also fantastic. Definitely recommend!

I've never been a huge fan and my recent visit confirmed why.I recommended to my friends to go there after reading a positive review.I ordered coffee and got it in a Styrofoam Cup! My wife ordered a shrimp dish that she'd had at Pelican Station and loved only to find that at Daddy's it was completely different! Yup same owner and you'd think something close. There is duct tape patching the ceiling. We'll try again next year. I enquired about a seasonal price on a dish and was told $35.00. I know I could get it anywhere on the Island for $25.00

This place is very large. Plenty of space for large groups. Very clean too. The food is good. Most of our food was fried. We love their French fries! My oysters were great. The service was okay.

ONE OF THE WORST PLACES TO EAT!!!! We came here to celebrate for a graduation dinner and the service was absoluetly horrible. Not only did we have to send the food back because it was cold but the server would forget parts of the meal. My father in law ordered crawfish with his boil and it never came, we had to take it off the check. i ordered a paloma and it took 45 minutes until i got it and on top of that we had to remind him about 4-5 times….. Lastly the food lacked flavor all the way around. please save yourself and go somewhere else!!!

The food here was good, depending on what you order. Like, I had fried oysters, which were good. But, my niece had the seafood bag and the flavor wasn't flavoring!!! She didn't not eat it all! My daughter had chicken Alfredo, which was good as well. Our waitress was good, when we first got there. After the delivery of our food, she disappeared, at which point I saw her laughing and just talking with co-workers, and we needed stuff at the table (i.e. drinks, napkins etc). FYI we had a party of 12.

Everyone was nice but the food was horrible. My fish was undercooked. I couldn’t eat it. My granddaughters shrimp was undercooked. She didn’t eat it. My daughter purchased the crab leg meal which costs more than it’s worth. The only good thing was the young lady who takes photos of you and your family while you’re dining. The photos turned out nice. They were 2 photos for $30. A tad pricey but the photos were good.

When had passed this place so we finally looked it up and decided to try it. The waitress was sweet but as time went on she was taking to her coworkers saying how they all were ready to get off and didn't pay the table much attention 😒 we had to keep asking her to fill our glasses and things of that nature. The food wasn't bad at all, I the snapper I enjoyed it. The gumbo was nasty. The appetizers were good fried mushrooms and fried pickles.
