It's always clean. Bobbie,the manager is nice and willing to help you if needed. The cashiers are young. Not all of them are very sociable. It's the only grocery store in town. Prices are a little high, but you have to spend at least that much in gas, to go to Beaumont.

I’m getting sick and tired of going to cook a meal for my family only to pull the ingredients out and realize the products I bought the other day expired a week before I bought them. Unacceptable and it has happened on multiple occasions. I’m already overpaying for your products, there is no excuses for products on your shelves to be expired by weeks.

This location does not sell or stock Miller High Life 12 pack bottles, or Miller Lite 16oz 15packs in Store. Was shooping in store didn't have time to go next door to the Tabaco Barn. Should carry it in Store aswell.

Friendly atmosphere and employees. Downfall is the price you pay for any and all merchandise/food. The price outweighs the convenience. CHEAPER TO DRIVE 20miles if you plan on doing serious shopping.

Wish there was more selection and some of the prices weren't lots more than in Beaumont. But it is super nice that we have a store in our tiny town where we can purchase some things without having to drive into Beaumont. Plus the store is always presentable and nice looking.

Very helpful staff, when I have made my trips to Beaumont, I'm too tired to shop in town so always stop in Sour Lake for 15 years. Some times the produce is COLORFUL & fully stocked looking like HEB on College in Beaumont... Then sometimes like today a few apples 2 asparagus, 4 heads of lettuce & the bell peppers I bought last week were already soft & wrinkled plus I bought every last sweet potato (7). I just never know what days will be overflowing with all colors & meat too. It's not enough to keep me from shopping here. The people of any company makes it certainly where I want to spend my money. I really enjoy the employees. If I was invested in a company that is the staff I would like representing my company. God bless

This was my first experience with the pharmacy. I was extremely pleased!! The ladies rocked! My prescriptions were just about ready when I arrived from the physician's office. What a breath of fresh air from my prior pharmacy! It's stressful enough having to go to the doctor, then having had to deal with a horrible pharmacy, whose employees and owner's family were very rude and creepy.Thank you ladies for making my day easier and enjoyable. 👍

Super friendly folks, very clean, pretty good selection of all typical grocery store staples. Prices are really high, though. It's the only grocery store on 105 between Cleveland and Beaumont, so it's a handy location when you're driving between both cities. But if you're looking to save a few bucks, just wait and hit the Market Basket at the corner of 105 and Hwy 69 in Beaumont.

Decent little small town store. Great for picking up a few items but prices are a bit high as you'd expect at a small town market. People have always been friendly and it's never very busy. I like that they have a glacier water machine out front.

I absolutely love this small town store. The employees go beyond what you need and the pharmacy is outstanding in customer service!! Thank you so much for this location. This store is really a great representation of what customer service should be!

For a small-town store in the middle of the piney woods, this Brookshire Brothers is a great grocery full of friendly, helpful people. They have a good, not great, produce section, fresh meat department, and bakery section. I've never been unable to find the things I needed (when visiting my stepson and his family.)

Great lil country store, very well stocked just like the big ones in town but no headache of driving in when gas is so much. Sour Lake is such a cute little town.

The grocery store is ok, I've had a lot of problems with the Tobacco Barn there. The employees are really bad about stealing from customers. The price will be one thing on the wall, and they will charge you three or four dollars over that. Then tell you they just haven't updated the stickers on the wall. ( this has been a regular occurrence) They break the laws, they don't care about their jobs. I will suggest anyone going anywhere else for any tobacco or alcohol product

Good place to go when you forgot something. Quick trip instead of having to fight the people in Beaumont. Price are a little high, which is why I used to do most of my shopping at HEB.

I absolutely love Brookshire Brothers. Everytime I go there I am greeted the minute I walk in and every employee that works there are nice and helpful. I would rather shop locally than to drive to Beaumont.

Too many times to count I have stopped by this store because it is conveniently located on my way home from work and they are either out of something so basic, like frozen broccoli or , today, a bag of potatoes. Really really frustrating.

This store has all of the necessities, not as much as a full size Brookshires but enough to get you by. Alwa6s friendly, helpful staff and always clean.
