Very low key eatery that dabbles in a lot of things and does most everything right. They have food, pool and other games, DVD rentals, lottery, and they sell all kinds of things like snacks, bread, butter, ice cream, lottery, candles etc. The food was delicious. We got three different meals and enjoyed everything. The staff was amazing and went above and beyond. They took care of everything so we didn't have to think about anything but enjoying our time there There were plenty of people inside playing games and having dinner. We ate outside because the weather and ambiance were fun. The hours are not entirely clear, but I believe they change seasonally. The area is very rich in scrumptious food and wonderful small-town hospitality.

Awesome food, cozy home like atmosphere and excellent service! We have been eating there or take out every week for over a year. The Couple who owns the place are really sweet and make sure you are well taken care of. Our favorite date night restaurant. If your visiting the area/lake its a great place to stop.

Has the best hamburgers I have ever eaten. The sweet potato fries are excellent! I moved from the area and am so disappointed not to be able to eat there, my favorite place. Clean and neat. The couple who own it are very nice and accommodating. Don't miss out on eating there if you are in the vicinity. Reasonably priced also.

The first time I went in there I felt like they were very rude and snobby with there nose stuck up in the air but the food was great. My guy loves to go there for lunch...., so I reluctantly started going there with him and they have really lightened up, very very nice people great food did I say that? And their little place has everything u could think of all right there. It's growing on me!!

There menu is amazing. I’ve drive quite a few things there. When I was waiting for my order I realized a had a flat tire. Heather hooked up an portable air hose & got me on my way. I mean she went out of her way to help me & bonus the service & food was great. Go place to go!!!

Great place. Our first visit in the grands loved it. Heard about it for weeks until we came back, "we wanna go to Spankys". We love the food. The atmosphere is laid back and casual. Our kind of spot. ❤️

Wow! Awesome surprise. We're camping at Lake Sommerville and stopped in. The menu is huge and food is great. It's bar food. Really good bar food! Plenty for the kids and a great variety for the adults. No lie, I'd drive 20 miles for this stuff if we lived closer. Breakfast ALL DAY. The breakfast is better than Denny's. They'll even give you a free beer, just ask for it. Incredibly friendly people. I'm totally satisfied. Anyone who doesn't rate rhis place a 5 has their head up their rear.

I love Spankys! They are only closed on Thursdays which is okay because everywhere else is open that day! They have awesome food. Great prices on cigarette and everything else really. If you haven't eaten here yet, you ought to. 5 Stars by far!

My grandchild says this is the best place in the world. I agree. We love the club sandwiches, cheeseburgers, fries, fried mushrooms and lasagna when its available. We also enjoy renting dvds. The kids love the air hocky.Its a wonderful place.

The owners Heather and Kelly are super nice people. Very clean and comfortable atmosphere! The menu is extensive. The Cheeseburgers are the best around!! Thank you for being in “our neck of the woods.”

Archie and I have eaten here multiple times. Spankys never disappoints us. The food is good. The service is friendly, and efficient as well as very attentive to the customer. The food is not only good, but fresh too. I love the casual atmosphere.

Our favorite spot was closed, the Spot restaurant down the road. We checked out Spanky's restaurant in Somerville instead. Very very good. Had the cheese jalapeno burger basket $5 with fries and a drink! Wonderful service wonderful food. Would highly recommend.

Hello and good afternoon. I have met the owners of Spanky's . I have not ordered anything from their grill, however I have rented some movies and the owners were awesome when I walked through their door. I was late returning the movies. I was a week late. When I returned the movies all 5 of them, they only charged me (TWO DOLLARS). I must eat there because I know their food is really good because#1They are good people#2They Proved That to me when they only charged me (TWO DOLLARS) For 5 movies being 5 days late . Folks Two Dollars. If I could have I would have given them a 100 Dollars.Thanks Spanky's I Love Y'all and I will definitely be back.

Employees usually come across as being less than personable, but it's actually a cool spot. It is especially nice since it is a bit off the beaten path. Regardless, the atmosphere is unique and the food is good.

Don't let the location fool you, this place makes some serious cheese burgers. Everything was super clean. With not much around this was an awesome find. I will definitely be back, especially after a long day at the lake.

Really nice people that make everything when you order. They have a wonderful selection of games and movies to change choose from, they don't carry everything but what they don't have they make up for in hospitality, good food, and general junk food combined with good prices
