This used to be a good store but because of theft they had to shut down the automatic register and after walking in several times and being the 15th and 20th person in line with just one register I've gotten to the point where I will drive 5 miles up the road to another one until they put somebody on the truck full time and let these people run the register this place is just going to continue to go downhill

Parking lot is a disaster. But the store is clean and has good carts. They have a large selection of little odds and ends but nothing too special. Everything is a dollar and I found lots of stocking stuffers for cheap. They also had a excellent selection of hallmark cards and I found some really cute ones. I will definitely be getting more cards there. So much cheaper than elsewhere.

Love the store but they need to fix their credit card machines. We are nearly to the point where we can't shop there cause they lock up our cards every time we try to check out.

About 4 miles from Lake Somerville State Park Birch Creek Unit. Nice & neat on the inside. Friendly employees. There is a horrible sewage leak stench in the parking lot that I hope gets taken care of soon.

This Dollar General for the win!!! Came to Birch Creek to glamp and fish and one of our meals was to be sliders. Well silly me forgot the main ingredient at home...Olive Gardens Italian dressing, we were going to ice and thought, "hey, we could get lucky, let's look" and low and behold there it was on the shelf!! This Dollar General saved the day cause I've been thinking about these sliders all day while fishing and really had my mouth set for them. THANK YOU DOLLAR GENERAL near Birch Creek State Park in Somerville, TX.
