If I could Give no stars I would because I am highly disappointed in regards to this specific store in Somerville Texas I come here or used to come here every other day should I say now because apparently the manager thinks it's okay to have the workers clean the bathroom and then put up a sign saying there's no water even though clearly the bathrooms work because one of the doors doesn't lock and of course curiosity getting the best of me I flush checked but apparently management thinks it's okay to prevent people from using it until their shift change once it has been cleaned apparently because when I come in at night it's open convenient but then all of a sudden the next morning there's no water again if Dollar General corperate doesn't want their customers using their restrooms they need to put a sign up made by corperate and do away with them altogether or if management is doing this out of spite or whatever the case may be I would hope that they'll correct it after this review because not being able to use the facilities in a place where I make my first stop before I go to work almost daily is going to make me take my business elsewhere if not corrected and Lord only knows who else is already probably made that same decision as well yeah I maybe a small blip on the radar but how long before like minds follow suit just sayin.

Well first of all , the lady that checked me out was very rude, no smile , she has very bad customer service I give her a zero, and then the manager the one with the Mohawk, was extremely rude and just plain ugly, I said hello and no response, I asked him a question and cou not hear his response, very very very bad customer service. He is always smoking outside, will never go back there again, they need alot of training in customer service.

I usually do not leave reviews for places on here, but the evening shift girl that checked us out was unbelievably rude. And made it feel like we were doing something wrong and bothering her, when we were just trying to checkout and pay for our stuff. Is it too much to ask for, to receive good or even decent customer service anymore. As it's evident that the customer is not their number one priority anymore. The one good thing to this is that luckily there is another dollar store that will get my business when in Somerville. As this place just lost my business. What a shame..

Newer facility so a cleaner look than most DG's around. Only one store associate onsite, 3 customers in line ahead of me and the manager focuses on confirming their vendor delivery rather than getting the customers through.

Store wasn't clean staff was rude and when I asked for the rest room key she looked me up and down and told me.. Umm. No.. It's broke.. And quickly turned away like I was bothering her. Later in my visit at check out she again acted perturbed by my transaction and rolled her eyes not once... Not twice but 3 times. Labor day around 3 pm maybe mid 20s working the register closer to the door. My sister, who is a super sweet person who never has a negative thing to say about anyone, commented unprovoked before I had the chance as we walked out the door "she was about as pleasant as a roll in the cactus "I'd avoid going there on my usual weekend trip to the lake because it's obviously going downhill by the condition of the store and items in it and I'd hate to bother someone if I might have to use the rest room while I'm shopping.. The overly rude and excessive attitude of the staff was uncalled for. The sale items in front were sun faded broke and not really sale priced. Looked like a pile of trash when we pulled up. I shop many different dollar general locations Austin, bastrop, Cedar Creek, del valley, wyldwood but sommerville by far was the worst I've ever been to.

The store is nice and set up. Staff are friendly. The location is in the middle of town. The only downside to this location is the entrance needs to be fixed. Every time you come in or leave you bottom out if your in a car. And there is only 1 entrance to the store.

Love managers there, they very professionally, if I have and issue and I address to them they look you in the face when talking to you and takes there customers issue in consideration and employees they have are kind and generous if you can't find something they know what in stock and what's not and when the merchandise is coming in. As far as DOLLAR GENERAL STORES & other of these types of stores go, this one in Somerville is stocked very well with decent prices and good, friendly employees. It was a pleasant enough experience to rate it 5 STARS. Somerville is a very small town with two dollars type stores, one grocery store & a few convenience stores and DOLLAR GENERAL STORE here has the basics to suit your needs.

I come because it's the cheapest milk in town and everyone has always been friendly. My main complaint is the road you have to turn on for the parking lot is extremely steep that it scratches underneath my car as I pull in. I have to drive in at an angle.

Lots of everything and its pretty much in your way when you try to walk thru stood and waited for a sales lady to move something so o cld get by and she never did. Didn't ask if I needed any help either. It's what youd expect it to be.

Will NOT answer the phone for a customer. I thought their phone was just messed up until I went up there and as I walked past the counter everytime the phone rang the employee(s) would just hang it up and continue to talk to each other. RIDICULOUS!

I use to love shopping at the 1 in Somerville but the female manager they got now is so rude no matter how nice you are to her. Now I hardly go in there or I go when she's not there

They close at 10, I walked in at 930 and they had the doors barely open. Told me I had 5 min to get what I needed...not super friendly. Closed the doors at 945 even though there was a lady there.

This is always one of the cleanest Dollar General stores. This one and the Burton store down the road are fantastic.
