This town may be small, but the store is a "One Stop Shop" as we travel from South TX., our current home to Somerville our 2nd home, we have 5 .5 acres and always stop there and pick up nice fresh meat, veggies and fruit....among other things, and the staff does an excellent job." Fresh, fresh, fresh* is my motto. My adult children also love stopping in for all kinds of snacks when they go over.

I could ride all day long about Brookshire Brothers here in Summerville they've always got a good selection of meat and the employees are always nice and very helpful and parking is always easy in and out

This local supermarket is very convenient. You might pay a bit more however for the convenience of having them locally is worth it.Management and staff are friendly and helpful and fuel prices competitive. I surely appreciate having them in our town.

More expensive than other grocery stores. Usually under staffed with long lines but friendly. Not a lot of options as far as brands or produce.

Whenever we go shopping we enter with a Greeting. The store is always clean and organized. The checkout experience is always fast accurate and pleasant. Also the cashier always makes sure that we got everything I was shopping for. Wouldn't change a thing. Well done Brookshire Brothers

We stopped in yesterday for the first time in about 3 years. Store was clean and well stocked and organized. Prices were reasonable for the rural Texas location. Cashier was very friendly and I would certainly recommend this location.

It's a good store and people are very nice. Just time to make bigger, store is too small and higher prices. No deli, no bakery, been years....time to update and add more.

A typical small town Brookshire Brothers store. Well stocked with a bit of most everything. It is not a high end store.We made an early morning stop before heading over to Somerville Lake for a bit of fishing. Hubby wanted some chicken livers to use as bait. We found them in the freezer section in the back left corner of the store.The staff on hand was friendly and welcoming. So if you're heading to the lake stop in and stock up.

The store feels more like a convenience store than a grocery store. It is really helpful in a pinch. They have a little bit of a lot. They might not have exactly what you are looking for but they have a substitute. Plus the associates are really nice.

Nectarines rotten from the inside out. They looked so beautiful but were ice cold... I should have remembered a similar incident at HEB a while back. So FYI... if the fruit is beautiful but ice cold, likely mushy and rotten inside from cold storage. 4 stars for wonderful Customer Service, nice 🤩check out person was extremely helpful and found me to see if I needed help, was keeping floor clean in slow time, and call to store about produce was kindly taken; thank you. Love nice people and clean stores!!!

Went to the pharmacy to help my dad with his medication...the young lady at the counter was very welcoming, understanding and super friendly GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I don't know her name but Thank you so much for having a helping HEART!

This place is a bit pricey but to be local it's the only choice this town has for a good variety of groceries. The walmart here only has two groceries isle. Besides their both next to one another so it makes it convenient.

I just came from there the cashier had an attitude when I requested that the discounted items be fixed for the lady that was paying with food stamps. Then instead of handing me the recipe she threw it on the counter smh. Then a customer behind us got rude as well the lady who was using food stamps is handicapped just sad people over there. I think they need to hire more friendly people for the evening shift

Always find great deals. Never forget to look at the meat department. Beer is at a great price. Staff is nice. Not one rude person there. Over all I have a great experience there, every time I come in.

Nice but small. Big enough for Somerville though. We trade there on lake trips. A little higher priced than bigger stores in bigger towns, but serves us well.

Nice little local grocery store. They are expensive on most items but they offer convienance to locals in most locations. You can find many sugar free baked items at most of them we have shopped at.
