Until now, they’ve provided great service but they are getting greedy with pricing. Called yesterday to fill a prescription, they offered a price after looking at the prescription and sending it to my doctor for authorization. Now after receiving the authorization, they have changed the price. Within 24 hours. They already raised the prices by 25% from a few years ago, and between yesterday and today, another 20%. Claim is that this more specialized. But yesterday the same thing wasn’t specialized. Amazing!!!Writing this after the response from Smithville. I understand that prices go up and cost of material increase. What I don't understand is how the price of an item can go up under 24 hours. I called your pharmacy for a quote, I was give a quote and when I call the next day, your price has gone up. I had no issues with paying the increased price from a few years ago. If you feel like you would like to resolve this, then you should give me a call. Writing up a vague response doesn't address how you justify a price increase when I call back within 24 hours to purchase the item. There is no post authorization as I was paying cash for this as insurance does not cover this prescription.

I am very disappointed with Smithville Pharmacy. I have ordered my semaglutide for months with no problem. On this particular order, it's been weeks and my medication still has not been sent to me. Because of this, I have to start again with a small dose and work my way to what I am now so I don't get sick because I haven't had my medication. How does this happen? Patients need their medication!!! When asked what is going on? All they can say is, we don't know when it will ship out. How do you not know? It's been weeks!!!! It's made in your pharmacy!!!!!!!!!!! Something isn't being told and it's not fair to me and other patients who need this medication.

My experience is the same as another I just read. I paid for a month at .25 for compounding shot and now have had a lapse in medication of over two weeks for .50. I was told it was “testing” that is cause. I believe I should have refund. I have paid considerable money, have had low dose or no medication, and find myself gaining weight.

Been a customer for 2 years. They made some changes to my insurance so when I tried to get my prescription they said I only had a discount card. I got the insurance lady to call them to help them make the the claim go through. Some dumb blonde with an attitude hung up on the poor agent and screamed in my face that she doesn't take discount cards. She didn't even try to fix their mistake which was why it was not going through in the first place. Completely unprofessional. Transferred my prescriptions to another pharmacy.

Been a customer for years because of convenience, time saving, are super friendly staff. All the staff I’ve interacted with are super nice and patient in addressing questions I have. Staff go out of their way to be helpful. At times, I can drop off a prescription and it will be ready in 30 minutes. When I needed some feeding syringes in a pinch to treat a sick pet, they pleasantly gave me some without charge. I’ve even gotten prescriptions thru them for my pets. Highly recommend going local.

Great local pharmacy.Staff is super friendly 👌 🙌 and helpful 👍. Plus they always have treats for my kids 🐶🐕😂. They've even got lollipops ifn ya want 😉 😀 🤠🤠

If you can avoid this pharmacy, do it. Jenna has zero customer service skills and poor reading comprehension. She yelled at me over what my insurance was asking me to get from them (a different NDC for one ingredient in the compound, since theirs was expired according to my insurance) and went as far as saying "IT'S ONLY ONE DOLLAR, WHY ARE YOU PUSHING IT SO MUCH!?"I had to reiterate that all along I was just conveying to her what my insurance was asking of me, and she changed her tone. She ended reluctantly helping, but not without raising her voice at me on the phone first.Stay clear of this place and get your prescriptions transferred elsewhere if you can. Not worth the hassle.

Everyone I have come in to contact with at this pharmacy has been extremely nice, knowledgeable, and professional. I had a problem getting my insurance information set up with them and they went out of their way to take care of it for me with the insurance company. I left the Dr’s office after my son came down with double ear infections and I called to make sure they had his information and told them what was going on. They promised me that they would fill the prescription as soon as it came in and they would call me when it was ready. Within less than an hour after leaving the Doctor they had the prescription ready for me and called me to let me know it was ready. They made sure I knew exactly how to give it to him and that I didn’t have any questions. I highly recommend this pharmacy.

Many of the employees that work here are kind, especially Cynthia. That being said I will never go to this pharmacy nor will I ever recommend it because of Jeanna and her very opinionated and ignorant attitude.

I get gas reimbursement from Medicaid to pick up my kid's prescription and they refused to sign the paper saying that i was there to pick it up, i will never use them again for anything
