Placed a pickup order and they charged my card, then sent me an email thirty minutes prior to pickup that my order would be delayed. Then cancelled my order an hour later. I don't like going into the store it's filthy and understaffed. You can't get down the isles for all the boxes on both sides.

Absolutely deplorable place. Filthy dirty, unboxed shipment in the isles preventing customers from products. I would never recommend going here. Whoever is the District Manager sitting on their duff in Austin needs to be fired. Corporate office, pay people to work there, it’s ridiculous you short staff this store. Wake up !!!’n

It usually is very nice going in there. But today the cashier didn't even acknowledge me when I came in. But it better when I checked out. She said hello. It goes a long way acknowledging someone.

There is no way to call the store. The advertised phone number is "no longer in service". So you have to go there.. The isles are always filled with boxes, and it has turned into a low grade grocery or convenience store. No more curtains and very little home decor. I hate to go there but it is the only choice in a small town. I would never by food there.

In my experience, most Dollar General stores are somewhat cluttered but this one takes the cake when it comes to disarray. The air conditioning hasn't worked properly since 2017 so it's also incredibly hot. The customer service is great though.

This is my favorite Dollar General. Staff is friendly and helpful. They have the best home decor section, unfortunately the stock bins are usually in that aisle. They have a huge grocery section too.

You can get good merchandise her about half the price ever regular grocery store well that is on some things that I get all my little Christmas decorations there too they have a good variety

Staff is friendly but their shelves are usually half stocked. I usually check the website before I go in there to see if the item I need is in stock. Could use some more organization

I was great ful this location was open. I had to leave town suddenly and did not take anything for an overnight stay.I was able to pick up all the little comforts of home quickly and affordably. The team was helpful and knowledgeable.

Slowest cashers in Smithville the prices are good but you can bet you'll be in line for plus 5-10 mins even with 2 people ahead. If only they had self check out. But they do have the nicest casher

As far as DG goes it was clean and organized. The clerk was curtious and knowledgeable about where to find merchandise on the shelf. Which made my visit quick and cheap.

Seems like an indoor garage sale. Prices are good but there is always a long line at the checkout and you have to find alternate routes throughout the store to get to certain aisles due to stock carts being in the way.

They had a sale buy 2 Campbell's soups get clover valley noodles 16 oz. Free . The soup is a $1.50 per can the noodles are $1.. Yes they gave me a dollar off for the noodles but charged $2 per can for the soup so they cheat you into buying the noodles and your still charged full price!!

Manger of the Dollar General, Kim, is a rude person, terrible customer service. I know a number of good local people that she has falsely and wrongfully accused of stealing and are now wrongfully and permanently banded from ever going into the store. SHE'S WRONG FOR THAT!

Really convenient to stop for inexpensive Tylenol when you have a headache in the middle of nowhere TX. Nice cashier clean store, wish they had public restrooms, though.

Always a pleasure going to this store. Real heavy front door though. And has since been fixed along with a well done, remodel on the Building.

Always hard to walk in the isles because they are packed with boxes of products to help put away. Can't access some of the shelves with things I wanted to purchase

They need a bigger store but I can almost always find what I am looking for. Great alternative to waiting in the grocery store line for last minute items

The manager there is sometimes awfully rude and has kicked people out of the store for theft with no proof of it. This happened to my dad and wife neither of which is a theif!

The store is cleaner than it used to be. Glad it stays open till 10. Brookshire Bros closes at 9. Checkout can be slow if they are busy

Good place to get cheap stuff but am constantly followed around by employees!! Very insulting!!
