Went for Easter Candy on sale. Left a bad taste in my mouth this time. I would have thought with the recent remodel this dollar store would be even better. While the layout is much better, the rude employee named Nikki will make you never want to go back. I asked a simple question of where is the clearance now? She replied in a rude and hateful tone there isn't any. Yet when I go to the registers there is the clearance that every dollar general on the planet has! Then she proceeded to stand around behind the registers glaring at people. I will take my business elsewhere thank you very much! Apparently this dollar general has lowered their standards to employ hateful people that lie to you.

I've always liked this store they do a good job at keeping it clean and stopped. Looks like they're having a bit of a time yesterday with rearranging the shelves and stuff but all in all it's a great store

The store was clean but not not totally organized. I was looking for Christmas items but had to go to different areas to find them. Some Christmas items were in a main area. Other items were throughout store. Staff were nice. Everything acquired by Govt was there.

The store is always a mess. The employees are always on their phone and never in uniform to tell them apart from the other guest. When we ask to be checked out they are rude and tell us they'll get to us when they get to us. While checking out they stay on their phone. The floors are filthy and black and the store smells. Worst service I have ever received here.

I had a very cool sales girl, with a really neat name and I cannot remember it. She gave me advice on cat food and dog food and really did some good teaching and sales info, as well as helping me with the Dollar General app and coupons. Thank you so so much!

Under new management store is cleaner and although there still are some things that need to be worked on its made a huge turn around. The best part about this store is they carry more then some of the other dollar generals and I always find something I can't leave without!!

They have pretty much what you can expect at a dollar store. I got a Jergens lotion from there and it felt a bit watered down not as creamy and thick like the ones at target or Walmart. I guess that's why it's less that 2 dollars. 🙃 workers aren't as friendly............update, store is very unorganized and not very clean. The workers are the same. The ones they have now do not know what customer service is! If you dont like attending customers and have to work then why work at a place where you have to attend people and keep things looking nice and clean! Sheesh!

The store has improved, and it all starts with Management Ken is a wonderful man, and I enjoyed working for him when I lived in Slaton, but was just a shame that District, and Region Management didn't do there best to do my transfer here in Rockport, TX it has been over a month, and nothing that I had to find something else, but Jamie, and Ken Thank you for being so patient to teach me the ropes. Good Luck to you all...

The Staff Is always very helpful and the manager is especially warm and friendly and seems to know how to run her store efdiciently. The entire staff always seems to be hard at work.

The staff at this store was very helpful. Seemed like a good crew. However the store is a little bit disorganized.(which I attribute to staff gone by)
