We were in Si ton for a dog show. This motel was close. Plenty of grass, felt very safe, employees helpful and responsive, room clean and comfortable.Rooms: Clean and comfortable. Plus the freezer worked very well.Safety: Single women and we felt safe going out alone after dark. Parking area also felt secure.

Arrived at hotel clerk was not nice, looked like she was in training but not nice. A multiple floor hotel with no elevator or handicapped access rooms. So sad there aren't many hotels around this small community and this is the worst. Ended up at an American Inn Express and very pleased with them and the rooms are nice and clean, Gentlemen was very nice.

Was a great motel to stay for fishing at Aransas Pass. Was not 100 percent clean because shower was dirty and bathroom sink didn't drain well at all. I'd still recommend or come back. Not much to do around there but isn't very much of a drive to find some fun.

The room size is great. There is a small fridge & microwave. Cable tv. No frills room to sleep in. Pets stay for free, max 2. The cleanliness can be improved ( the smell of the room, the bathroom looked somewhat clean. The whole place needs an upgrade makeover.

Our visit was not pleasant to say the least. The floor in our room was filthy I had to wear my shoes the entire stay. We had cockroaches crawling along the wall and we had a good amount just sitting under a table and behind the microwave. The bedding was also so thin. I did notify the front desk but no changes or adjustments were made all I got was an apology and the blame fell on housekeeping. I would not recommend staying nor will I ever consider staying here again in the future.

I would have given this location 5 stars for the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the motel. Everyone from the front desk staff to the housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful from day one.My main issue was that there was no elevator in this two-story location. Made it somewhat inconvenient to have to schlep our luggage and other items to and from the room as we had more items than normal being in town for a dog show.That is my main complaint about this location.

My overall comment for this property is "BASIC". They accept pets and have tile floors in the room. Here is what I experienced. The air-conditioning unit is in a closet (a sealed closet) in the room and is loud. The refrigerator made noise but, not super loud. The chair for the desk reminded me of Kindergarten class. No shampoo. The room phone did not work. No biggie since most of us have cell phones but, I did have to call the front desk. The TV worked great. If you have pets and want a BASIC hotel this is your place. The complimentary coffee has powdered cream and sugar which I prefer not to consume.There is no continental breakfast.

Room was very clean, fresh towels, new soap, no sign of bugs as stated by some. While an older motel, room was remodeled, beds were comfortable, staff was friendly. Couple of small things, more annoying than an issue. Toilets low to the floor with flimsy plastic seats (yes, when you travel it matters). Wish it had a donut / cereal / bagel for breakfast with juice, also, no pool. But well worth the price, would stay there again.

I was here for a week on 05/31/2014 and it was nice. Staff is friendly and understanding, a/c worked great, and our room was well kept and cleaned.What I didn't like, one of the mattress's in my room was very dirty, hallway carpet was stained and the hallway smelled really bad from smoking, it's right off the Hwy and an 18 wheeler tried to run me off the road as I was turning in, and finally, we spotted tarantula's when we walked outside!But overall, my stay here was great!

It was a decent stay, the bed was quite comfy. However, there were no creature comforts at all. No elevator, no shampoo/conditioner in the shower, and very thin blankets on the bed. The staff was very nice, and very accommodating. But, they were not always present at the front desk. A couple times when I called regarding our reservations, there was no answer. When I came down to talk with them directly, they were outside smoking.

A place to stay at last moments notice. Served it's purpose. But as far as comfort for the price. Not that great. Asked for iron. Neither of the 2 could be found. Was told to wait till house keeping came in at 11. But checkout is at 11 and we had to be at the funeral at 11. Waiting wasn't an option. A coffee pot in room would have been nice. A clean microwave would have been nice. Actual blankets instead of the thin thing that hotels use on top of the sheets and blankets. There was warm water not hot for our showers. To pay $90.39 for 1 night we weren't impressed. We booked a smoking room. When we arrived we were put in a non smoking I went back to front desk and asked to be put in a smoking room and was told don't worry about it go ahead and smoke in the room. What if the next person is allergic to smoke? I did like the music in the hallways though.

Location is near the county expo site. It is well marked and easy to find. Parking lot is well lit. Price was very reasonable. With no additional fee for pets. Rooms have been remodeled, but here is nothing fancy here. Microwave and refrigerator in room. Shower is triangular and larger than most. Rear door just pulls open without a room key and is the only reason 4 stars instead of 5. Good experience. I would not hesitate to state here again.

Motel 6 was a great stay!! Had no problems booking a room for the holidays!!!! Receptionist was friendly, room was perfect and most of all..... IT'S PET FRIENDLY!!! I would definitely come back. Thanks again to all at motel 6 happy holiday and I hope you all have a great New year's!!!💜

When we needed a place to sleep while traveling we decided to stay here. I always thought highly of Motel 6 but this place has ruined my expectations altogether. The first thing you notice when you go inside is the heavy smell of mustiness. Inside the room was even worse. It smelled of heavy cigarette smoke and burned beans. We had to sleep with our shirts pulled over our nose. There were various stains on the bedsheets...GROSS! Rusty fridge and zero coffee. Their website says FREE MORNING COFFEE but there was no coffee! I couldn't wait to get out of there in the morning. On our next trip we are definitely skipping Motel 6.

Absolutely the BEST Motel 6 I’ve ever encountered! From the amazing staff who helped me the whole week I stayed )I am disabled) to the cleanliness of this place! I’ve never seen such a clean and immaculate Motel 6 and the staff who clean are very detail oriented and have the rooms all VERY sanitized and clean! Will be staying there when I’m back in Sounth Texas! Good Job Motel 6 and to the owner Derrick I believewas his name, you have taken this motel and have done and amazing 180!

I never got to stay. I was told a room was available to me. I drove down from Houston to spend time with family, and front desk said there was nothing available. I get a sorry from Julia, guest services agent and asked fir a voucher for free room for my inconvenience. I still have not heard anything back from her. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE !!

I will warn you do not go to this hotel I had a very bad experience here they basically stole money from me and my wife and double-billed us for rooms and possibly overcharged us as well we are having a very hard time to have it returned to our bank account and it's a long process. when we try to reach out to them to resolve they will not answer the phone to discuss it .I have heard about other problems also so beware of these people.

A bit noisy. Not sure why, maybe a field trip or something, but rooms full of kids all around our room. They had doors propped open and there was quite a bit of noisy and one crying baby. Bed was very hard. But room is very inexpensive and clean. they had parking for my Ram 3500 and 40' trailer.
