Wow was I ever surprised. Almost looks like an abandoned dusty scrap yard on the outside but on the inside we found warm friendly service, amazing authentic delicious homemade burritos, and their restrooms were shockingly clean, with an industrial artisan vibe.

I tell you what! Great place to stop for gas, food or souvenirs. I had an amazing huevos rancheros platter. Perfect TX high desert food. Hot sauce that will launch you into space. Fun playful server. Great prices. Loved it. They sell assorted leather goods that are uncommon such as tooled leather rifle cases. Amazing selection of trucker hats. They have beverages, snacks, etc etc.

Stopped because of reviews. Wow! Nice spot, out of the way, jewel. Some cool gift items. The owners were so nice. And compared to other "chain" truck stops, the bathrooms at Texas 87 are the cleanest you will find. Don't be confused when you deive up. This place is going to be stopping grounds when I travel this way again.H-Town!!!

Not gonna lie... this place looks kinda sketchy. But please don't let that fool you. Everyone inside is super polite and friendly. They have most everything you'd need for a road trip. For truckers, they do have a limited selection of tools and replacement parts for simple quick fixes. And as for truck parking, I'd be hard pressed to believe this place is ever 100% full. The dust can be overwhelming on a windy day, so I don't recommend sleeping with your windows open, lol

I'm so glad I stopped. Great place. HUGE parking lot. Great restaurant. I'm not sure if they have showers and laundry. I forgot to ask. Still a great place to stop.

My wife and I are biking cross country. The Tiger has bicycle camping since nothing else in area. They have great service here with a very good restaurant and place to hang out. After a 84 mile ride it was great to get a good meal and a place to sleep. 30 degrees when we woke up, it was nice to come inside at 6:00am and get a hot coffee.

Outside, looks like ghost town. Decent dirt lot for 100 trucks. The staff have always been extremely polite and friendly to me. The food is cheap but homemade. My meal was $14, best tacos and beans I’ve had in some time. Don’t judge a book by its cover.

Washrooms clean, souvenirs good, 2 bites of food my stomach started turning, did not continue eating, and I am now sick as hell. Paid for a plate of food that was not consumable or worth the price. Tasted Like dirty grill. Place is run down badly.

Not sure what to say here other than this place is a zero stars place. You can see RVs at gas pumps from I-10. But they are just parked or people living there in the RV. We had checked Google reviews before we decided to stop but needed a bathroom. It had 4 stars. We didn’t feel safe going in what looked like it might be a restaurant and store. Keep going. There is nothing to stop for.

The restaurant inside the truck stop is pretty good. Restrooms are a lot better compared to when they first opened. They don't have a driver's lounge but have some couches where people can sit. They have a huge dirt parking lot with no paved spaces at all, but it's still a good place to spend the night if you're a truck driver.

This place is a little ran down. Very interesting. They still have the tiger cages outside when they had actual tigers on the property. Obviously that’s inhumane. Nice large parking lot. And some very interesting knickknacks to purchase inside.

You've heard it said "don't judge a book by its cover", well, don't judge THIS place by its outside appearance, cuz if you do, you'll cheat yourself out of enjoying some of the very, very best Mexican (and American) food you'll ever find ANYWHERE, seriously! I had the best 'chile rellenos' that I have ever had ANYWHERE, (except for my house) and the beans, rice, tortillas and salsas were all so good. No 5-star ambience, but you'll get to enjoy 5+Star yummy food on uoy visit 😋.So, don't pass it by, just from looking at its outward appearance, stop, go in, eat and enjoy your favorite Mexican foods, you'll be glad you did.

Pulled over to gas up and get some sleep. Very awesome stop with plenty of room for RVs and Trucks, we even we able to put our slides out. Very Friendly staff. Plenty of room for the dogs to walk around the property. The rest stops in this area are very crowded so this was a pleasant surprise!

One of the few old school truck stop cafes left. Good food at a good price, cheap fuel and a general maintenance shop. If you want subway or Chester's chicken then go to loves, TA/ petro , pee lot or the hook and waste your money. There is ample dirt parking for a good night's sleep. One of my favorite stops coming or leaving El paso!

Stop for the night very quiet it's a dirt parking lot plenty of parking no matter what hour it is, breakfast was awesome had the chalaquiles montados that's 2 eggs on top hash browns and refried beans very good will definitely stop again.It's a very old truck stop but the quite at night and great breakfast is worth the stay.

They have a wonderful Mexican restaurant here! It's way better what it looks inside. Big and neat, very lovely and special. But you can see outside until you walk in.

🔴🔴🔴Warning!🔴🔴🔴The gas pumps at this gas station are rigged and set to give you less gas then what is actually shown on the screen that you filled up. Please see the other one star reviews here to get more validation of this. I hope this helps to save others from this.

This truck stop is a hidden gym nobody ever Parks here, but the thing is the place has enough space for 400 or 500 trucks.. The new ownership has renovated the insides so all the bathrooms are new..Showers are in the process of being renovated and the restaurants in the process of being open 24/7...I've been parking here for the last five or six years and I seen how it changed for the better...

Doesn't look like a whole lot, but has tons of space for the trucker who's looking for a spot to shut down - restaurant attached. Has about three diesel pumps and a large convenience store.

Lots and lots of parking. When the kitchen is open this menu is worth zagging off route. Limited choices of amazing food served professionally and politely.Ask about their spicy menudo.Totally snagging the salsa cups. Green salsa from Mexican heaven.

It's an alright place to stop, always plenty of parking here but, this is one of the many real truck stops that are out here on the road and this place was probably a good place to park back in the day. I'd prefer these places unlike the Pilots and the Love's out there which are mostly crowded and packed at times. But other than that it's a nice quiet spot away from El Paso

Yes, this place is well worth the stop!!! Tge food was so fast and great.... I asked for extra mayo and the cook understood the assignment!!! I didn't feel cheated on anything.... I'll be back...

Big sand lot. It's under maintenance but for the most part it's 24/7 and you'll find a place to park. Just be cautious at night because it's dark. A decent flashlight will help you out for when trucks are shut down without their marker lights.

Expensive gas and food. The food was really bad too. Hashbrown was not even fully cooked. I recommend avoid it for any other test stops.
