Came here due to loving Shiner beer! Very cool tour, and nice little shop. We learned alot. Our tour guide was nice and informative but could have been a little more fun. We did not have any food but looked and smelled amazing. They had live music, and games to play as well. Was definitely worth the trip.

I’ve heard good stories about this brewery in Shiner. Well, finally had a chance to visit the place. I decided to do the brewery tour in advance. Once you get there, go the visitor center and check in. Sometimes you can go to an earlier tour if you want to. I would you recommend you get there early to see everything. Parking is limited and FREE. Try out the different beers, food, tours and the local band. A lot to offer!

Came for my birthday did the tour and tried the food. Theres many reasons why i would recomend this place but i would never finish. The food is amazing and the vibes are outstanding. Ate the baked potato and the sausage they were both delicious and the types of beers...i wish this was closer to home.

Enjoyed the tour, which included tastings and swag. Great gift shop. I visited during spring break, so there was live music also. The food is ok.

The entry banner "Best brewery tour in Texas" was not a lie. Knowlegable tour guides. Amazing history over 100+ years. Great family, date or group outing. BBQ on site. Live music on the weekends.

This was fun and very chill experinece. My friend that came with me said that he had done some of the major ones cross country and this one got pushed to the top of his list. Yes, it is in the middle of nowhere but it adds to the layback atmosphere. There are two tours averaging around 45 min. They give you small suveneers and beer token for different stuff you do or buy at the facility. There's live music, bbq place on site and beer... lost of lots of beer. Worth checking out if you are in town. Or just stop by and get a beer. FYI parking is very limited so be patient.

I can’t believe this is my first time at the Shiner Bock Brewery.. this place is awesome! I didn’t do the tour so cannot comment on that and it’s the reason for my 4 stars, until I do it.The outside was great, with tons of seating and games.. they also seem to have some food competitions every once in a while. The beer on tap tasted so good, which I wasn’t expecting since I don’t drink shiner bock as much. It’s definitely s staple in Texas and everyone should visit this place.They have a vast option of merchandise inside and for the purchase of a glass, you get 2 free drinks.

Annual Shiner Run - pick your level (5K, 10k, 1/2M) and then enjoy the after party. Good time every year. Post race food and beer, live music, brewery tour, gift shop and more. (Shiner Run in Nov. Brewery open year round.)

My wife and I were on our way to San Antonio and made a 20 min detour to visit this brewery, If you’re a native Texan and a beer aficionado this is a great place to visit. This brewery is huge, way bigger than what I imagined. It’s great how they incorporated the new brewery into the old one.The atmosphere that day was amazing, they had like a farmers market event at the time. Antique beer memorabilia and collectibles. I will definitely be back. As far as food goes, they had a Spoetzl BBQ place next to the brewery, btw they had a line going out of the restaurant, so I imagine it’s pretty good. We’ll definitely be back.

I'll go back. This place is also kid friendly. Our experience was excellent. Don't be misled by the the name; they offer Vodak on tap. This is necessary for a brief vacation.

Reserved our spot online and was a bit late but was able to jump on the following tour! We’ll worth the 20 bucks and you get some souvenirs and three beers! Tour was wonderful! Great day trip from Austin!!!

We finally made our way to Shiner to visit the brewery. It's definitely worth it! They have a huge outdoor space with lush grass and shade. There was live music on a Saturday afternoon. The tour was awesome, so many good things to see. They have different tour packages to choose from, we went with one that came with a small cooler and a 6 pack 😁 it also came with 3 drink chips. Loved the premium on draft. It's hard to get anywhere. If you make it to Austin, you might find it available at Lucy's fried chicken 😊

A group of friends and I decided to take a situ trip to Shiner as I read about its German history and town. I recommend if you haven't been there, go!Loved the brewery tour and history. The employees are very friendly and customer service is top of the line. They are very knowledgeable about the brewery and we could ask questions about anything..With our tour package we got a complimentary keychain and glass in a shiner bag with with free drink chips. Yes get ready to drink a 16 oz beer.You could tell by the employees how well the company takes care of them.They believe in what they sell and you could see the great family atmosphere.We had A-blast and this is definitely on my list to come back.

A wonderful day-trip from Austin or San Antonio, add this spot to your trip. You don't need to be a beer aficionado to appreciate the interesting tour and the story behind the brewery. But if you are, the robots in the packing belt will be something to remember. The outdoor area is a great setting for a picnic, and for young ones to play too. Live music on a Friday was the cherry on the top!

Can’t purchase growlers/ beer to go. You need to purchase ‘chips’ to purchase beer and it comes with a glass. In a way it feels forced to purchase more than needed.Live music was awesome. They had an amazing voice - father, daughter duo I think. But definitely needed a better variety of food trucks.

If you like Shiner Bock, this a pilgrimage who must go. They have really changed since COVID. Great new tour. So many beers on tap. Could not buy enough gear. Stop by our little piece of Heaven!

Great beer but not so great boxes. Grabbed a 12 pack single handed from the cart and couldn’t even get it to the car before the carry handle ripped and there goes the liquid gold. For this reason I’m given shiner a 1 star due to box manufacturing. Beer is 5 star.

Great little brewery. We bought huge beer mugs and got a free fillup of beer. Listened to a country band in their outside picnic area while we enjoyed our beer!

Really awesome tour. Bummed I stopped by on a weekend so the production area wasn't operational, but it was still really cool to see the venue. Shiner offers a great military discount. Highly recommend.

Got to pay for the tour now, but it is much improved and totally worth it. Now have a bbq resturant attached to the gift shop.
