It is just as amazing as you have heard! If you haven't, it is a convenient store where you can drink beer on tap in the back yard of the store (it should be just a back side of a gas station but they have made it so amazing and feels so comfy, so I call it a back yard). Definitely check it out before going to the brewery.

We came because texas bucket list has this place as a food location. It no longer has food. The people inside were nice about it and said they get that alot SO this is me saying if u are hungry for FOOD this is not the place lol. Go down to the brewery like we did ❤️

Bucket List! So many great reviews, the Texas buck list showcased a great piece on Howard’s, a newly resident to this great state I’m hoping to take my father there to enjoy our first experience together since my father has always been a beer connoisseur being Shiner is his preferred flavor, makes this a priority on my lifetime bucket list. Howard’s here we come!!!

I love stopping here. They typically have the latest and greatest Shiner beers. I was told by a lady at the brewery that Howard's is one of the first stores to get Shiner new releases. They did have the Dewberry Tart when I last stopped in and this was a couple days after its release. You can even buy VHS here! This store will take you back to another time. You can typically find locals around a table discussing what I bet is local politics, weather and good ol' b.s. You'll also find outdoor sitting and draft beers. Stop in if your passing through, I think youll enjoy the nostalgia.

a place where locals go on the daily. you can get gas outside, and beer on tap inside, as well as other typical gas station fare. the back of howards is set up for local artists to come and play or to watch a game on tv's in the back. it's just a great place to visit where no one is a stranger.
