This is always my first go-to for home improvement and repair purchases. I often go in to look around but end up leaving with a small purchase. For high quality tools, garden items such as shrubs, trees, flowers, fertilizers and gravel, this is the place.

I will always shop Lowe’s then Amazon…not Home Depot in Sherman. Beware of return policies that are changing….even if you have a contractor account…even if the item is still current….even if you ask for a manager to help you do a return since you originally spent so much money on a number of items and you need to return one small item….. Home Depot saying “corporate policy” to me is the final nail in the coffin lid.Does corporate believe its customers should be “warned” really?? !! Apparently so since Home Depot prints “warned” on return receipts!!! Sherman, TX Lowe’s has always offered excellent customer service as compared to Home Depot’s not so available and not so friendly customer service in Sherman.

As I was walking through Home Depot, looking lost, a young gentleman stopped and asked me if I needed help. He directed me to the correct location in the store and was not quite able to figure out what I needed. He then offered to go get the resident expert in that area, and they both returned back. The resident experts name was Elijah, and Elijah was able to point out exactly what I needed. Both of these people offered their help without me even asking. It is a significantly better and different experience than I normally experience when I go to Lowe’s. I will definitely be back.

The day I tried calling this home Depot I could never get through to anybody in the gardening center. I was told the employee didn't show up and they never found anybody else ever to help me and I waited on the phone for a very long time. Then I gave up and went somewhere else.

Get your lumber elsewhere. Its great they had lumber in stock but they are all supposed to be 8' and they are all over the map on sizing. Now what is supposed to be standard I had to waste time and cut down to proper size. The lady at checkout is always super friendly and helpful.In the pics all boards were set the same. On the right you can see all the variations in the lumber.

Unfortunately, I called 4 times trying to reach someone, anyone in the electrical dept. a nice lady in the garden center answered and transferred me twice, then I got her again. Frustrating. I never did get to the right department. So unlike Home Depot.

The girl up front with the mask on may need to sit down and learn what's on each aisle that way before you send somebody on a wild goose chase you're actually sending them to product they need

Even though home Depot is very busy the workers stopped what they were doing and made sure that I could get to my product in time and get back to my crew . I'm going through pro account check out Jack's is the man he get you out fast where you can get back to your cruise and that is why I shop home Depot.

Ordered online the night before. They didn’t have the sheet rock pulled for us. Had to wait for a customer associate. (Only one working the desk)She called someone to pull the sheet rock for us and take it out to the contractor pull up.. 10 minutes go by and I look back around the sheet rock to see it just sitting there. Not to happy. Will be submitting formal complaint online.

I purchased a new HVAC system through Home Depot. The contractor had to have techs come out 5 times to get it installed and working properly. When you spend that much money, you shouldn't have to worry about the contractors that Home Depot sendsto do the job.

Please have the blind cutter fixed. I have made multiple trips to purchase blinds and it has been down. No one can ever say when it will be repaired. Sherman and McKinney are both down.

Delivered Railroad Ties here and the receiving crew were very professional and polite to assist.Even though it was only 20°f outside at the time and with a tiny forklift to work with, they still tried to unload me fairly quick!

The Home Depot refuses to honor their online prices. It does not say, "online only". It shows the amount that are left of a particular item in store. An employee's advice was to call the store to make sure any item is on sale. They will price match other stores, but not their own website. Making your customers run around in circles is a poor business model.

Lousy customer service. Attendant wanted to chat instead of helping me handle 2x10x10 lumber as well as customer service was extremely slow and couldn't find the order they called me saying was there. Also ignored the obvious damage to the box and items inside.

Had an issue with a refrigerator. The wholesaler delivered one out that was damaged. Patsy in appliances did a fantastic job making it right. She went to work on our behalf and got us taken care of. She provided good ‘old fashioned’ service!! Thank you!

Best Customer service I have ever ever recvd in A Home Depot! I am now an expert on light bulbs and all the different categories and just amazing what I didn't know about bulbs. I forgot his name, but everyone knows he has the knowledge on the lighting!! Thank you again!

The absolute WORST customer service. My wife and I ordered a table from Home Depot that was delivered without all the parts. When I called to ask Home Depot to send me the correct parts, they simply told me that they sell this item for a 3rd party and that I would need to contact the 3rd party or bring the item into their store and return it. The table top is a 300 pound hard surface top which I had to pay movers to get into our house. On top of that, we live an hour and half away from the closest Home Depot. We now have a new home with no kitchen table and are trying to figure out how to eat with our 20 month old child. AWFUL customer service with still no resolution and parts of the table sitting in our dining room.

We frequent our local Home Depot quite often throughout the month! Always has everything we need. Only downside is they always seem to have problems with their registers malfunctioning! Other than that it’s there for all our project needs!

The lady at checkout was nice. We ordered a 18 ' step ladder online and they brought it out from receiving and just left it at the entrance no offer to assist with loading the ladder. Great service provided NOT !!!An offer would of been nice or some sort of communication.

I ordered a very nice LG refrigerator. It was delivered to my house and I love it! The rest of the story is where things go wrong. The delivery man brought it to our house, brought it inside, plugged it in and left. It was unlevel and the doors wouldn’t shut without being pushed all the way in and the doors needed to be reversed. He didn’t do a thing to rectify the problem. I’m not sure if this is poor training or an uncaring delivery man. Take your choice. It was a bad situation either way. I only gave one star because 0 stars isn’t available. Shame on you, Home Depot!

I had an order to pick up for 3 customers and another Home Depot store, I won’t mention, got it all mixed up and caused me to be delayed over 20 minutes. Luckily I thought to call this store in Sherman to make sure what is was told was correct and as I thought I had been told wrong. Makina at this store spent over 10 minutes of her time on the phone, mainly listening to me vent and also checked to see where the error was. Makina even called the other store to straighten things out. Thank you so much Makina, I would write you a letter of recommendation any day and I hope you get a raise, kudos isn’t even enough for how you went above and beyond for me.
