We stopped by the Sherman Commons location this morning with our 3 year old daughter so she could get her favorite treat with her dad before he leaves for a week long business trip. We have been telling her all morning that we would go to “the toppings place” with daddy. We got there at 11:50 and nobody was at the front counter but we figured they had run to the restroom or to the back to stock stuff. We’ve been here multiple times so we grabbed bowls and let our daughter start picking what yogurt she wanted. A teenage-ish aged girl came out and said they’re not open. We said oh the website says 11am so we didn’t know. She didn’t say anything else and disappeared to the back again. After just a minute who I assume is the manager came out and told us they are not open and still have stuff to do to open so we can take what we already got but they’re not open and heavily implied we needed to leave… when it was currently 11:50. So we had to leave with our sobbing 3 year old because their website said they open at 11, the doors were unlocked, and all of the bowls/toppings/etc were already set out. They looked fully open. I even have screenshots (attached) of their website and google listing showing they open at 11am every morning.I managed a restaurant for a few years before getting a corporate job and I simply can not imagine kicking out customers who were in my store 10 minutes early because I left the doors unlocked. Especially when my website said we *should* have been open for 50 minutes at that point. And the cherry on top is that a very kid-oriented place turned away a three year old… over a 10 minute wait… we would have happily sat in the lobby and waited. We would have happily gotten our yoghurt and then paid once it hit noon and their POS was active. We would have happily sat in our car for 10 minutes until they opened - if the manager was remotely kind and asked us to. But instead the manager was beyond rude and very passive aggressively stuck a spoon into my bowl and essentially told us to leave.It’s extremely unfortunate that there’s not another frozen yoghurt place in Sherman, but we’ll just start going to Hey Sugar in Denison instead when our kids want to pick out ice cream toppings.

Passed through on a road trip and got 2 cups of Froyo here. When the cashier rang it up and said $30 I thought I misheard him. I asked him to repeat it and he said $30 again and I about fell over. I got 1 cup two days previous at another Munchies near Austin and it was $7. It Was about the same size as one of the two this time yet these were double the cost.

Popped in today for a refreshing treat. Super clean establishment, excellent selection of flavors & toppings. I even tried the Pumpkin Spice since the owner recommended it and it was really yummy. We will definitely be back soon!

This place is friendly and they are very helpful if you do not know what to do, if you never been here, they will help... my girls got their shots and we came here right after and their mind was distracted of the horror earlier with some frozen chocolate yogurt, chocolate sprinkles and worms!!!! we will come back for special occasions...

We ordered my daughter's 5th birthday cake here and although it was beautiful on the outside, they accidentally didn't add any of the extras on the inside that we had ordered. I had sent 3 emails to clarify our order and called the store several times with no answer and no return call. The owner apologized when I picked up the cake and gave sides of the missing ingredients to add to the cake on our own but was unwilling to compensate other than to offer us some free birthday candles. For a $50 cake that did not come as ordered, it was a measly offering for compensation. The cake decorator who took my order was incredibly friendly and helpful and her cakes are gorgeous- just don't expect the owner of the store to do anything to keep you as a returning customer if a mistake is made. Shame.

Good frozen yogurt but too expensive. I paid $11 for a single cup of yogurt (was literally just yogurt and 1 topping), come on man. I guess inflation is really hitting crazy.

This was our first time to Menchie's but we've been to similar places. They had several different yogurt flavors, lots of toppings to choose from. The guy at the counter was friendly and helpful, was also working hard to keep the place clean.

My kiddos love this place. You get the healthier version of ice cream (yogurt) but still get to do all the fun toppings. I've been several times with my kids and it is always clean. The staff is always nice. Which is not something that I find to be a guaranteed in this area.

After being welcomed by a rather happily animated young woman, and taking in the fun color scheme, we grabbed bowls and started picking tasty treats. Everything is self serve here and is weighed at the end for pricing. I spent about $15 for 2 bowls of awesome. Highly recommend. Brownies, and caramel, and hot fudge, and well... I'm sure I ruined any health benefits with all the candy I added from the toppings bar, but you can be healthy here too. They are really focused on smiles and happiness here. Even the napkins are fun to read.

Visited yesterday and it was awesome, everything tasted good and the location was clean. This could have been a 5 star review but on my arrival the cashier was preoccupied with reading or doing something else, she greeted us coming in and briefly talked when ringing us up but I was afraid to ask any questions in that in between time for fear of disturbing her.I'm not sure what that was all about but I may change my rating if they can be a little more lively on the customer service end of it because they got a good thing going on over there.

Always a hit with my family!! Pleasant staff, tasty fro yo, fresh toppings, clean restrooms.Usually they have a stevia sweetened fro-yo option... which I love!! Was disappointed to see only artificial sweetened sugar-free options this time... So the only improvement I would suggest is to always have one flavor in that category. Otherwise excellent as usual.

Super excited for this new location's opening! As a devoted fan of Disney's Dole Whip, I'm extremely happy that Menchie's offers a Dole pineapple yogurt.The interior is bright and clean, employees are very friendly and open to flavor suggestions. The toppings are plentiful and the bar is kept tidy. I foresee many trips here for a "Dole Whip" fix.

8/16/21 - A good alternative to high calorie ice cream. My wife and I like the sugar free vanilla & chocolate yogurt. We add bananas, strawberries and blueberries. Unfortunately, they don’t usually do a good job of keeping the bananas stocked and ready to spoon out.

Service was really friendly and nice. Unfortunately the frozen yogurt tastes terrible, like artificial flavors and chemicals. I tried my boyfriend’s and it was allegedly cheesecake flavored...so they asserted. Idk what that flavor was, but it weren’t no cheesecake. I filled my cup 1/3 of the way, put a few scoops of Oreos and a chocolate covered strawberry....together, they cost $15. ABSURD. Just go to Braums and get proper ice cream made from decent quality ingredients for $2.

Poor customer service on behalf of management. I wanted help with the app they offer for points, I asked for help and the manager said “she wasn’t the one who made the app” and turned away continuing a conversation with a friend. Rude. If you don’t know the services you offer, even through applications you offer for business then you have no business working there. She didn’t even offer to help me.

I'm currently on a mission to eat at and review every restaurant including the chains, in Sherman and Denison. I'm well aware that this might take years to accomplish my goal. :)I learned about this place through a Facebook Market trade. The store was incredibly clean. That's the first thing I always notice.This is a self service frozen yogurt bar. I had the smores flavor yogurt with chocolate and strawberry toppings. The yogurt is priced by weight on the scale. I also noticed there is a little patio outside to eat. I didn't go into the restroom, so I can't comment.The customer service was great. I will have to come back.

Great frozen yogurt! Lots of options and completely self-serve.Price is based on weight ( .66¢ per oz.) which can get pricey if you're not careful.

I am absolutely in love with Menchies Frozen yogurt!! Problem is I feel rushed every time I eat there. Or I go there 30 minutes before closing time and they are already shutting down machines and the workers are cleaning up and stacking chairs. I thought that is supposed to be done at closing time? Would give a wayyyyy better rating if I am not so disappointed almost everytime I go there.

First time to visit and it was a plesant experiance. The lady working was so sweet and explained everything to us and was so helpful. This is now my favorite place to get yogart! The yogart was so good and the toppings were freah and all over a very nice clean place to bring the family for a yummy snack. Will be back soon.

I loved that there were a lot of topping choices. I really love the frozen yogurt that they have. Although small selection. I think that the staff could have been a lot more fun. The service was dull.

They have gnats flying all over the toppings! I told the guys employee who told me with a non concerning face that “it’s summer ,there gnats. They will fly around “ 🤮 and he never went over to wipe off fan away or even make sure the gnats weren’t on the toppings. I guess summer means that we have to pay to eat things gnats land on 🤷🏽‍♀️

Workers were rushing us out of the store & telling us where to sit because she had “already mopped the floor and didn’t wanna do it a second time”. Mind you, we were there 2 hours before close. She also complained about customers that were in the store previously because they asked for a shake and she “didn’t want to make a mess by cleaning it up”. Poor experience.

We have been coming once a week for months but today when I got the wrong froyo flavor and asked if I could get a new one the worker said no and that if they did that for everyone, they would be giving away too much froyo. Me and my family of 7 will be taking our business to braums from now on, thanks :)
