Prices are good, most important the people are absolutely friendly customer service is awesome. The store is always clean. I just can’t say enough good about McCain’s. They really do go the extra mile to make sure the customers are well taken care of and have the best food available. Really love my hometown Store.

The only reason I gave them one star is the quality and price of their steaks the cashier was rude to the older gentleman in front of me who clearlywason medication or diabetic having health issues maybe ammonia levels extremely high he wasn't in my opinion on any type of street drug then very rude to me even claiming I left my groceries on rolling counter when I went to get steak sauce which I had left in the buggy I will nor go back in that store again even if I have to drive to Cleveland

The workers and managers there are rude and they feel like they are entitled to be someone when they are not. They most definitely need to be trained more on how to give customer service properly. Taking advantage of people by overpriced stuff that you can get cheaper at walmart or Heb. My advice is to avoid this place at all cost!

I have lived in Shepherd for 21 years and I do most of my shopping at McClain's. It's a down-to-earth family owned and operated grocery store. Which sells reasonable products at a fair price. I would recommend anyone 2 visit their store. I give it 4 stars. The employees are friendly kind and courteous thank you for asking me for my opinion

While I know this particular market doesn't always have every grocery item your looking for, I know for a fact that all a customer need do is ask and their staff will do their best to put said item on shelves for you. Customer service is most excellent here and I believe their staff's ideology centers on the customer. Plus it is a fact that this place is just the BEST market to find and buy meat!

I love your story and customer service. Great deals. Even got off brand dropper on sale witch is really good. I will always keep that on list. Also I love when you have swiss cheeses on sale. My little girl likes milk ice cream milk bars by almond milk

The meat selection is amazing. The worker selection.... Not so much. If you need help and they call for Malinda tell them leave her lazy a** and her additude in the back. She likes to treat customers like an inconvenience.

Shopping there is more like visiting family. Prices are reasonable. The meat is fantastic. Deli and groceries, produce is good. Clerks are fun and helpful.They take pride and support our town . GO PIRATES!

They have the best meat dept of anywhere near here. When you buy hamburger meat, it's good all the way through. No brown meat inside. And it smells so good cooking, not like brookshire brothers or Walmart, where the meat actually stinks when you cook it. Service is good and prices are too.

Very poor quality of service try not to deliver here if at all possible they dont know how to treat drivers told me I had to unload the truck with 6 of them standing around. Then refused to sell me groceries. What kind of people would deny a truck driver to go shop get food knowing what we're going through right now. Pretty heartless. So glad I drove overnight to get their load to them.

Great news paper, friendly staff, these people do amazing things for the community but needs help from owner. Boxed, bagged, bottled or can items are all over priced. Can drive further away and spend more on gas and get more and better food. Dairy, meat are better priced but meat always smells. There is to much liquid in the meat cooler that it leaks out of the packages and all over the other products and buggies and on everything on the way to the home. Produce doesn't stay good for longer then 3 or 4 days. Parking lot is a disaster. I have bought many items that were expired before I bought them. Need owner to invest more money into store to being a better place to shop.

A great grocery store but their prices are too high for my budget. I only go here when I can't afford to drive to Cleveland. The staff is always friendly and the store is always clean.

Always good meat they cut their own and it's a good selection the hamburger is the best..... Also it's owned by an amazing family that helps young high school students with employment and they have been in business for year in our small community

A family owned store that has a wide selection of groceries that you would expect from a chain grocery store. However, the markup on items is more than expected. If your local the store serves as a nice convenience for one or two items but for grocery shopping it is best to go to Walmart for regular packaged goods then head to HEB for the best meats around at half the price.

Not a fan. Some of the staff is great but the workers dont seem happy to be there. The items are mainly over priced so you pay sometimes $5 or more over the price of the same items at Wal-Mart or HEB i can get a 4lb bag of shredded cheese at walmart for under$7. The same bag of cheese is $12 here.Most of the young cashiers are inexperianced which makes using snap or wic difficult sometimes leaving you inline for 20 plus minutes. Wic items in store arent marked with the wic stickers and they dont cover all the foods youre supposed to get.

Very nice, clean, great customer service, good selection of lots of food and drinks (it has the stuff Brookshire brothers doesn't.) definitely worth the commute.
