Late night run to Dollar General looking for a set of Halloween PJs. I noticed a large SALE sign on Halloween items buy one get one 50% off Loaded my cart full. At checkout it was not reflecting the discount. Come to find out the sale ended, and no one bothered to pull the sign. Manager would not honor the price. But wanted to discuss writing up the employee on duty. Poor leadership.

I usually love Dollar General’s. But this one has sorry service. The two lady’s working here was more interested in talking with each other then tending to the line of people waiting to check out. I will not be back.

Used to work here and I can promise you the staff works as hard as they possibly can to make this store the best as they possibly can. It's a little difficult to make things better when management can be difficult. Overall though it's a pretty great place to be.

The isles are always crowded, there is usually 1 cashier and 1 stocking on a good day and the temp is unbearably warm!!! Everyone complains. I spend more time waiting to check out than i do shopping. I make it a point to go beforr 2 or 3 o'clock and then it is ok.

The store is cluttered and unorganized. The cashiers all look like meth heads and they are usually rude. Honestly, they just need to clean house and start from scratch because it is a HOT MESS.

Always shop here but today the cashier Miranda at the dollar general in Shepherd, TX was highly rude. She also called me and my husband a liar, in her own words. We bought a simple mobile cell phone that has a promotion to where of you buy the $50 plan you get the phone for a discount. She did not give us the discount, charged us full price and then told us talk to the manager in the morning but she won't do anything for you. We eat dinner every night together. Conflict of interest and very disrespectful to customers. Won't be back til she's gone.

Always closes earlier than and opens later than posted. Be careful of prices. Have had prices ring up higher than advertised on a consistent basis and they say sorry there's nothing we can do about it. They are constantly violating federal laws governing false advertising and consumer fraud. Example store brand bleach, original strength is the same as the concentrated strength. Difference is original is a full 128 oz gallon and the concentrated is 121 oz. Price original price is 2.50 per gallon and the concentrated is 2.75. SAME EXACT PRODUCT WITH 2 DIFFERENT LABELS AND 2 DIFFERENT PRICES. READ THE LABELS ON THESE 2 PRODUCTS AND COMPARE THEM FOR YOURSELF. THIS IS A DIRECT VIOLATION OF THE CONSUMER FRAUD LAWS. THIS IS ONLY 1 OF THE POSSIBLE MANY VIOLATIONS THEY ARE COMMITTING UNDER THIS LAW. BOTH PRODUCTS HAVE 6.0% SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE WHICH IS THE MAIN AND ACTIVE INGREDIENT IN BLEACH. HAVE HAD IT WITH THIS STORE AND THIS COMPANY. WILL NOT EVER SHOP THERE AGAIN.

Prices too high. Pisted sales, such as on frozen fish, do not get the discount @ check out, thus wasting time, requiring a manager to come over & do his thing, inorder for us to get the posted discount price. This happened to us 3 weeks in a row, same Ocean Perch, same $1.00 discount posted in freezer, but not @ check out.

Needs updated systems, there is no in & out to this store. It is not at all the employees fault, it's the corporation! The way they have them doing things is ridiculous & takes to much time. The employees are nice & helpful though.

Over crowded store. Makes cart pushing hard but lots of product to choose from.Never but one cashier. Pleasent store. I will continue shopping there even though gets a little crowded with people too.

The staff here is great but their system needs an update big time! Nothing the employees can really help though, the company needs to update their equipment so the customers can have a pleasant experience everytime

They did put my underwear in my bag so when I got to the hotel they were already closed the next day told them they told me cant do anything about it
