I love this place! I actually book it through Air BNB each time. The host is amazing and is flexible with my check-in. The price is a great value - my room is always clean and cozy. They provide a very nice breakfast in the morning - homemade eggs, toast, waffles and oatmeal - coffee, tea, juice, milk. For the value, you cannot beat this place! And the owner/host is so friendly and helpful. If you haven't tried staying here, you should.Rooms: The room is a basic hotel room - TV works great, cold AC or warm heater in the winter. The shower is nice and hot. Soap/shampoo is provided. Clean linens and room. Very quiet surroundings.Food & drinks: You'll have two bottles of water in your room when you check in, and fresh breakfast the next morning at no extra cost. Oatmeal, waffles, toast, homemade eggs - along with milk, juice, fresh coffee and hot tea.

I really enjoyed staying here. The price of the room can not be beat. Zero bugs, very clean! Yes it a older building but I didnt mind at all. Was so convenient to have 3 beds as a family of 5. The breakfast was a added bonus. My boys loved the texas waffles. Staff was friendly and provided extra towles when we asked. The pet area was clean. Yes its small but it worked just fine. I will be staying here again.

Absolutely the nicest old Motel, I've been in for a long time. The management has pride of ownership. Once you're in the room, they are Furnished very nicely with updated furnishings everything is super clean. Don'tjudge a book by the cover.Rooms: Very comfortable bed

Great little motel in Shamrock, Texas. It was clean, it had everything you would need in it, including a TV, coffee makings, shampoo, and a very appetizing breakfast in the morning! Again, it was very clean and well-appointed, it's just an older hotel. But charming, and the owner was very very kind. We will absolutely stay here again when we drive across Texas.

Gentleman who greeted and checked me in was so kind and wanted to make sure i knew the little nuances of our 1960s room. The property and room were clean and well maintained! Bed was comfortable and shower was hot. Went down the road about a1/2 mile and ate at Rustys , which was good for a simple quick bite. I would definitely stay at The Shamrock, again.

Stayed there twice. First time wasn't bad for the low price. Second time was February 2024. It was bitter cold that night. Got there at 5pm and heat was never turned on in room. We froze to death. The room didn't get warm until the middle of the night. I had to wrap my dog up in my coat, he was shivering. Cord that the microwave was plugged into had a short. Microwave would only run for 20 seconds at a time. Never again. Wasn't worth the price. Couldn't report it. No one at the desk when I got there or when I left.

This little place might not look like much from first glance.but don't judge book by its cover..the office was clean and the man who runs it was very pleasant ,and told us what we needed to kmow.rooms are clean.coffee in your room is complimentary and some water bottles.there is a fridge and small microwave..the comforts of home..This was our first stop after a very long drive from Schaumburg Illinois.our final destination will be San Diego..it's ashame big hotels I. Vegas charge so much and still charge parking separate and no fridge or micros in rooms.Thank you shamrock Inn..the price for a pleasant nite and breakfast 59..dollars..God bless them

Clean and no odors. This place has untapped potential as an awesome Route 66 motel. It's dated with 80s gold fixtures and 50s pink toilet and shower...they should pick one decade and go with it. Bed was comfortable ...water pressure and temp was good...price was <$100...and they actually serve breakfast! I would stay again if in the area.

Great motel off Route 66. The beds were very comfortable. Bathrooms are adorable with the vintage tile and tub. Water heat and pressure was great (three people in our party showered the night we stayed and it stayed hot). Rooms were clean. Concierge/owner was very friendly and accommodating. The hot breakfast and coffee was a great way to start our day of travel. Texas shaped waffles take the cake.

Shamrock Country Inn is a definitely must go motel. Very clean (so clean towels in the bathroom), comfy beds, friendly staff, good breakfast (Texas-shaped waffle are top notch).In every room you also have set of soaps and two complementary bottles of water, which helps you to feel more like at home.One very nice detail we liked is that they have Texas flag painted on the doors.Price wise it's a really good cost for this quality.You can't really ask more from a motel!

My son and I stayed here this past April on our Route 66 trip. I choose it because I wanted to stay in a retro 1950's motel. It was so cool as the owner made an effort to keep it as much as they could in the 1950's. I live in a 1952 house in Florida and know the style. Clean great room. It even had an old school key and a heater in the bathroom that worked. I didn't know the good reviews before I stayed there but it turned out to be a great experience and now I know how the ratings are so good for this motel. The people that say in their reviews that the motel is out of date are missing the point and that it is suppose to be like that. Thanks....Rooms: Great retro rooms

We find ourselves traveling the great Southwest on a yearly basis and often stay here multiple times a year, for five or six years now.This place is clean and quiet. It's a great value. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and will be happy to see you, even if you are a bit late. And your car/truck/whatever is always just outside your door, for easy loading and unloading.

Quaint and retro. We really enjoyed our stay here at the Shamrock Country Inn. We paid $59, and that included tax, for an extremely clean and comfortable room for the night. No perfume or other smells. You seriously can’t go wrong with this place. The proprietors provided us with excellent customer service and were so very kind. My husband had the breakfast and really liked it. Pride of ownership is very clear.

I've stayed here twice, and I want to reinforce other reviewers' assessment that this place is really solid. Nothing fancy, but then nothing is lacking. I love places like this where you pull your car right up to a room with ground-floor access. The location is several blocks away from the interstate and so is quiet. The owner is cordial and thoughtful. I'm a repeat customer and will remain so.

Very happy with my stay here on my cross-country motorcycle trip. The price is so affordable, you can park right in front of your door on nice flat level pavement. Staff is really nice and friendly, nice breakfast in the morning. SUPER comfortable bed. It was so nice to finish my day here. Wish the rest of the hotels I stayed at where as nice of an experience as this one! Highly recommend.
