This Dollar general is my number one store in the whole area! The customer service is so wonderful, and the employees make you feel like you're family. I want 1,000 % recommend this store.

Absolutely disgusted by how I was treated in the store. Just went inside for a few items. The person with me forgot a mask, so he was asked to leave when we got in line. Remind you we are all human and can forget things. He would have been fine about it if the Cashier wasn't so rude. The cashier, very rudely said that he needed to either get a mask by the door or get in the vehicle and wait. So he walked out and I stayed in line because I had my mask. While I was waiting in line, I didn't say a word and was minding my own business. The cashier told me I needed to leave. I asked why when I didn't do anything wrong? I was wearing a mask the whole entire time. I was told that I needed to control my boyfriend that I was with. I didn't respond. It was my turn to check out. The lady kept harassing me about the guy I was with. I kept reminding her I didn't do anything wrong and I was following the rules. She then told me we were not allowed back. I said I would like to take it up with a manger because I was following the rules and didn't do anything. She said she was the manager. I was in complete shock is. She has zero customer service skills. This whole situation could have been handled a lot more professionally and we wouldn't have had any problems. I ended up telling her I will take it up with corporate instead. I canceled my order at the register and walked out. I was completely disgusted by how I was treated. I got in my vehicle and told the person I was with what happened inside. He went back to the door didn't go inside and told the lady she had no right to treat me the way she did when I did nothing wrong. She then came to the doorway and said she was going to call the cops while taking down her mask. Didn't she just say we have to wear a mask? That's where all of this started in the first place so why would she take off her mask? After that we left and won't be coming back. I have heard several locals on Facebook pages complain about how they have been treated in this store. There are boxes everywhere. Shelves aren't stocked and the manager is not professional. I will gladly take my service to the locally owned market instead where we know we will be treated right. While we went to the local market we found out the person behind the register was also kicked out of the Dollar General very rudely. Here's the "manager" with her mask off. You will be loosing customers because of her professionalism. I suggest you don't shop at this location.

I rated only 1 star because I had to in order to leave a review. Today I went to the store and was treated so badly by staff. I have not been in this store in a while because it seems that the employees are always rude and seems to be getting worse. I went to purchase a few items and needed to purchase something behind the counter. There was no one at the front so I kindly went to find the employee to let her know that I needed something. She rudely said I will be there in a minute I'm busy. I waited at the front and while waiting I was looking at the items that are at the front. The staff member stated that I needed to be at register 2 so the doorbell thing could sound if I needed something. I reminded her that I was not trying to be difficult that I didn't know that they had a doorbell thing up front. She rolled her eyes after picking the device up and slamming it down. I will not be back to this store. I was treated terrible. She continued to run her mouth the entire checkout process. This is the worst I have ever been treated in a store. It seems that the people they hire here just get worse with customer service skills. I will gladly make the drive to Lubbock to a store that knows how to treat their customers.

No respect for people and their need to pee. Paying customers should be allowed to use the facilities. Saying it is out of order is why you get a 1 star. You lied to me!!!! Tell me that there isn’t a working washroom in that building. The lady didn’t even care when I asked if I had to pee in the parking lot.

The manager is very rude I was asked at the register if I was buying cigarettes and i told her no why would she ask that she told me no one comes up to the register unless they are buying cigarettes and uses self checkout I asked her if it was her job to run the cash register and she told me she usually stocks and seemed very annoyed but told me yes it was her job. I don’t see the problem of her running the cash register and treating customers poorly because she’s having a bad day. The produce has mold by the way I don’t know what she’s doing because nothing is ever stocked. Someone needs to do something this lady has no customer service skills I see it’s the same lady Miranda posted.

Absolutely love this store everyone is so friendly and helpful they have done a 360 with this store its so clean and smells good when I walk in to shop shelves are stocked well and nothing in the floors

Staff are helpful and polite. Store is well stocked and generally organized. The ice cream freezer is currently broken so no scream at the moment but hey won't be that way forever.

No employees..store is a mess..and the 1 employee u do have seems helpless and confused..get it together or close it downEdited on 10/30/21This morning I went to the dollar general to purchase eggs at 819 am. The doors were locked..sign says they open at 8amThe cashier proceeded to come to the door..point at a sign that looks like a 6 year old wrote it that says "both servers are down", as she locks the door back...she mouths smthn to me with a dirty look on her face. I suggest u get the staff in this store, under control..along with their attitudes and facial expressions...absolutely ridiculous

The customer service employees were not only available, but they were both helpful and very polite. I was unable to find a specific item at the Dollar General that is closest to me. Since there are several DG stores, I went to another that is approximately 12 miles away. I found exactly what I needed. I was able to park near the door and was in and out quickly.

At one point I liked going to this store cause it was close and convenient! But the people have changed and not in a good way. No wonder they go through employees like crazy!

Very difficult to get through the store, aisles are always stacked and crowded with product. Sometimes you are lucky and get a friendly staff member to check you out after waiting forever. Seems like there is only one person working the entire store all the time.

Great, a great variety of new and upcoming items. Nice quality items that you would find at a big name brand department store, for grade affordable prices that everybody can afford to buy something nice to put on their walls.

Make trips here almost daily. Close to home and usually have what i want. I love the Smithfield precooked bacon. I usually but all they have on the shelf when i go there for bacon. Its inexpensive, too!

The site is being remodeled sho its it's a mess even thill they are staying open during the changes. It will be a big upgrade when it is finished. Till then... it's almost impossible to navigate right now... hince the low score today. Will be glad to evaluate when the big project is finished.

This DG has really stepped it up recently. The aisles can still get clogged with stocking carts, but it's better. Keep up the good work.

The aisles are blocked by the metal carts filled with items that need to be re-stocked. It is a danger for customers, especially those that are handicapped or elderly. The manager needs to get it cleaned up.

The store is getting better everyday, it is under new management and it is showing!!! Granted a business cannot be flipped and made perfect in just a few weeks but its getting there

Only one worker and she was talking on a cell phone. Store was not stocked and boxes were setting everywhere waiting to be be put on shelf. Need more help

The Shallowater Dollar General store is very full of items to purchase, almost a little too full. There is a lot of clutter but it's kept mostly clean. Interestingly, the shelves are packed with a lot of selection but not much of that selection. For example, there is a lot of candy to choose from but only a few bags of each variety.

This is the first Dollar general in west Texas to have fresh produce and an expanded refrigerated section more like a grocery store than a convenience store.

I had a similar experience as Miranda's review only it was because she failed to put an item that I had placed on the register in my bag after I couldn't find the item I came back in the store and she was extremely rude saying she put everything in the bag after a minute I noticed the item was right in front of her on the register she continued to be rude I said I wanted to see manager she said she was manager found out later she is not the manager is an assistant she needs to be fired or demoted to stock boy because she has no business dealing with people

4 pound of sugar for $2 that hasn't changed price in about 3 years is one of the things I love about Dollar General.

It was a mess!!! You could not even get down the isles. I do understand that you have to stock the shelves but get some help in there!!!
