I brought our thirteen year old dog because he was having a really rough time and I wasn't sure what to do. The doctor and staff spent almost two hours with me. They ran tests on our dog and gave me special food and helped me get him to the car. The price was VERY fair and they were very sincere and sensitive to the needs of my dog and to me. They were calm the whole time and I never felt stressed, regardless of the severity of the situation. Thank you SO much to the staff and the wonderful doctor. I WILL refer others to this clinic. Thank you AGAIN ♥️♥️

Our puppy dog had a boil that ruptured and turned out to be probably cancerous. The doctor and his staff cut the tumor out and is going to send it out to Texas A&m University for them to give us more information on the tumor and type of tumor it is. I have never used this veterinarian clinic before, but I would suggest if you live within 100 mi of this veterinarian clinic, use it. It's very great, very nice staff. Very impressed with the professionalism.

The Staff, are caring, compassionate, and Friendly. Dr Gerdes is the only vet that I have let care for my dogs in the last 9 years. Stephanie is an Outstanding Vet Tech. She always loves on my fur babies. And Paula is very open and easy to talk to when setting up appointments. A+++++ Hands Down.

I have been using this vet for 15+ yrs. Matt is very good at what he does. His assistants are sweet as can be. One if my dogs is very hyper and they deal with him very calmly. His receptionist is friendly for the most part.

This Veterinarian is very knowledgeable. He explains each and everything. I like that because I want to know these things. If he prescribes any medication for your pet, he explains what the medicine is for and what it does to make your pet better. All the office staff is caring, friendly, knowledgeable and professional. If I could, I would give Cypress Springs Animal Clinic 10 stars.

This place is really nice easy to get to everyone that works there if so friendly and very willing to help you with your animals. The vet is extremely knowledgeable and also ready to give you some very helpful tips. Their prices are very fair and reasonable so you don't mind taking your pet for any type of situation. My new Vet. So far I've noticed he's knowledgeable. Will talk to you and give you information. He and his entire staff seem to genuinely care about each animal. Not just treat the animal as a thing to make money off of. If you want quality care for your animal just like you'd want for yourself...go see them. You won't regret it.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. They even remembered my cat's name. The Dr knows his stuff and will take the time to explain stuff to you and not just rush you out. Last time I stopped to get some kitty meds they waited a few extra minutes even though they were ready to leave. I feel that I can trust them with my pets. I've only been there a few times but they alway treat me like a friend not just another customer. I will continue to use them.

Got me in very quickly. The price in the end was a bit more than i had been used to paying for the same procedures in mount pleasant but they did get me in quicker than anyone else could so i wasn't upset. It was actually my fault I should have asked how much it will be in the end. Oh and i had brought an animal with me to pick up the first one and the vet actually came out and did a free quick look over and advice on a future procedure she would need for me. I was very appreciative of that I don't know if most places would do that.

All of the staff is very attentive to all of your pets needs and your questions and or request. Mat gives his undivided attention and heart to you and your furbaby and wants nothing less than the best for both. He and his staff understands that your not just bringing in a animal for them to care for but you are bringing a family member to be cared for and that is how they treat your furbaby. Like family. There facilities are clean and are well kept with your furbaby still in mind. Whether it be a office visit or overnight stay your furbaby is in the best of care you could ever ask for and you don't have to go take out a bank loan to have them cared for. I will take my furbaby to no one else but Mat. So if you love and care for your pet this is the place you need to bring them. So do you and yours a favor and book them a appointment with Mat. I'd give them ten stars and two thumbs up if I could.

I took my kitten in at 4:30pm with no appointment, she was unresponsive and fighting for life. The nurses took her right in while Dr. Gerdes was hooking up oxygen equipment. They kept her over night, on oxygen and at 8:30pm put a feeding tube in her to keep her nutrition level up, they called me with every step of progress. This morning at 9:30 am I recieved a picture message saying hi mom!! (I know melt your heart), Then I recieved a call at 11:20 am saying she can come home. Thank you to this entire team from the bottom of mine and Pinkys hearts we are forever greatful for all of you. She is now home recovering with her heating pad and blanket. Also they take their time answering any questions, and explaining things. They dont try to charge you with what ifs, and dont sugar coat if they dont think something is going to work.

After having no local vets, we made a drive from mount vernon Texas to this clinic to get our kitten seen as he was getting no oxygen\blood. They didn't even bother helping, they simply said they can't see him. This was our last day with him now.

I made 3-4 calls and sent many emails last ones on 10/18/2018, to this Vet for service for my farm. As of yet no return calls nor emails. Zero common courtesy. I'd recommend using another service.

Had a sick kitty and Mat took plenty of time to explain to me how to prevent it from happening again. Called other places and they all said they were too busy but they squeezed him in. I would recommend him to anyone that loves their pet.
