RV park is small but 40+ spaces are placed so you have enough room to sit outside, BBQ or just take it easy. Pond has a resident Otter that doesn’t abide by the catch and release fishing rules though, prefers to just catch and eat. lol!Staff is accommodating and as friendly as it gets.We stayed a month and hope to go back again.No complaints. Glad to have stopped there.Glo.

Very pleasant rv park, neat and clean. The staff is so helpful and friendly. Has laundry, showers, very nice community room that can easily seat 30+ with full kitchen and tables chairs available for use. Numerous pull thru sites that can accommodate a bigger rig and full hookups. Conveniently located close to I-10 highway and restaurants. Would recommend to others and would stay here again. A very well ran park.

It's a good RV park. It's located right off the main road. Easy in easy out. Reasonable price. We rented a pad for a month. We would stay here again.

What a difference a year makes. Not a very good experience this time. This "resort" has gone down hill. FEMA trailers, old trailers, just looks really bad. Oh, and if you have a boat, evidently you get to park anywhere you would like....even if it blocks you in. Sorry, I'm amending my initial review from 4 stars down to 2. Mowing all day the first day, trimming the 2nd, and "raking" the gravel roads the 3rd. No peace and quiet. Very disappointed....we loved this place the first time and were thinking of wintering down here. Not any more.....We had to leave another campsite for certain reasons and Schulenburg RV Campground found us a place for a few nights. Friendly folks and a great place for a weekend or longer stays. They have a beautiful pond with alot of turtles...really enjoyed staying here....5 stars without a doubt

This is one of the very best campgrounds we've ever stayed at. The campground, although not paved, is very level and easy to navigate. Campsites were perfectly level, neat and clean. Bathrooms were immaculate. Landscaping beautiful. Owners, camp hosts and permanent campers were all friendly and helpful. They recommended local businesses, restaurants and the Painted Churches. We had a fantastic time and will recommend to everyone.

We lucked out with the last open spot for two nights. They put us in site 49 which is on the end, overlooks the catch and release pond and nice green grass for dog walks. Little interstate noise, good utilities with full hookups but water hard around 425 ppm TDS with good pressure (60 psi). Didn’t use the showers or laundry, many sites for longer term guest, very clean park all around too.

Awesome pull through sites that make pulling in late and leaving early extremely convenient. Clean and convenient facilities. Reserving and getting a call back after I left a message was a great interaction. Will definitely be stopping by the next time we're this way.

I called to see if their was a opening an Mary was Happy to make me a reservation!! When I got their Mary an the other Lady were so very Friendly an Helpful an even escorted me to my RV space!! I was to leave the next day but we had a confused Hurricane right in the Gulf that was suppose to possibly go into Rockport where I was headed so I went back to the office to see if it was possible to extend another day an a new Lady was there who was very friendly an nice also!! I met the owners daughter who was such a sweet lady an Helpful also!! I stayed 3 days at the park waiting on the Hurricane to make up its mind where it was going !! I also met some very nice friendly people that stayed there and Helpful nice groundskeepers!! You are close to Great places to eat and the park has very cute individual restroom/bathhouses!! It also has a nice little laundry mat to wash your clothes!! The Grounds are super pretty with the landscaping !! And Best of All You feel Super Safe there!! Thank You to everyone at Schulenburg RV Park (Sorry I lost the paper I had written all your names on so I could personally recognize each of you that was so Great!!) I will be back to visit again an I will highly recommend this park to everyone!!

Friendly, clean. Great quiet park with all the amenities. We liked it so much we chose to stay an extra night! Large or small rigs, full hookups, wifi, cable, laundry, clean shower facilities, rec room and more. Will definitely be back! Thank you Randy & Karen!

Stopped by this park recently, last minute, due to gusty winds. When checking in the front desk lady was very pleasant and we were even escorted to our space. The gentleman led us in his golf cart, hopped out to spray sanitizer on the fixtures, and went on his way. Very nice level of service! There were restaurants in easy walking distance as well as a Dollar Store to grab a few items so we didn't need to unhitch. Overall, not a fancy resort BUT good service, quiet park, conveniently located, easy pull through spaces, and we felt relatively safe there. Would definitely stop by again!

What a super nice park! Very clean, no old, falling apart campers. The pull-thru site accommodated our 37' fifth wheel & long bed truck easily. Free wifi & cable, plus recycle bins! Easy entrance right along Rt 77 and not much road noise at all. Great folks in the office, Starr super friendly & we were escorted to our site, a perk I wish more RV parks & campgrounds would do. We only stayed overnight, but will definitely keep this on our radar.

Very nice campground, reasonable price. The campground hosts an acoustic music jam on the first and third Tuesday of the month. We had our instruments with us so we went and joined in and had a great time. We would definitely recommend this campground and plan to return.

Stayed here two nights. Can’t think of a single thing to complain about. Super clean, beautiful trees, great staff, easy hookups, great WiFi, Tommy is the best attendant, far enough away from I-10 to be quiet, shopping is 2-3 blocks away. Next door to O’Reilly, Dairy Queen, Whataburger, etc. Friendly townspeople, very fair price, and great live music on Tuesday nights! Don’t know what else you could ask for. ???

Very nice place to stay. Easy access to I10 but very quiet place to stay. Nice small pond for fishing catch and release. I caught about 25 small catfish which was a lot of fun. You do hear the train whistles but brought back memories of childhood so I enjoyed it very much. Very nice friendly people and we would definately stay there again. Ann

Stayed there for a baseball tournament. It was a great experience. Bathrooms clean, washer and dryer available, good hook ups, big drive thru spots. The staff was amazing and so welcoming. I will be happy to stay again and again...

A beauty RV park where everyone treats you like family!You’ll also enjoy being outside without those nasty mosquitoes! I don’t clearly know their secret to having such a mosquito free RV park, but it’s just so awesome!Need a beer, but ran out, and you refuse to drive because you care about others? Fear not! The Dollar General has you covered right next door! You can practically walk there in 2 mins!Need cash, but don’t trust gas station atms, no worries, the bank is just right behind the RV park!Almost every RV gets a nice piece of shade from those extra large trees! You’ll be glad that your AC doesn’t have to work as hard during the day time!There’s a awesome man on site named Tom! He helps keep the RV Park clean and knows quite a bit about the locals nearby.Randy is awesome at fixing things, so if your in a bind.. you can trust Randy’s knowledge and expertise!Holly is, if I remember right, one of the managers on site. She checks the RV Park daily to make sure it’s up to standards. You can wave her down if you need anything when she comes through. She has such a joyous personality that you leave feeling so grateful that she helps keep the park running in tip top shape!They have showers /restrooms, no AC in there.They have a small laundry room that I didn’t use during my stay.It’s very quiet there, so you can practically sleep all day and night if you want!I guess the only thing I didn’t really like was having to sort my own my trash for recycling. You’ve got a trash category for up to six different items. Plastic, card board, glass, ferrous metal, paper, aluminum, and one other item I can’t remember. I was only like there for a week. Sorting trash sucks, but for what this RV park has... it’s worth it!If I think of anything else, I’ll update this report. I hope that you found my information insightful! Please thumbs up if you did! First, the staff are so very friendly and helpful. Secondly, though the sites are not huge, the host makes sure you are settled safely. Third, the setting is convenient and scenic with a small pond and lots of green space. We were given a guide to the area so we knew where to dine, what to see, and how to get there. This campground is welcoming..a place a person wants to return to. Give it a try and you will be hooked on staying here.

This is a small, family owned type camp ground. However, the people there were wonderful to us. The young lady at the desk helped us get off the road and get a decent rest. We literally called them driving as we knew we were running late to our destination in San Antonio, could not really make San Antonio, especially at afternoon rush hour, and needed full 50amp hook ups. The rate if you are a Good Sam member & pay cash was very inexpensive (I'm not sure what other discounts they take). Cable was very minimal but everything else was great for a place to get rest.
