Either they don't have a water softener or it is not working. You will not be able to get the soap off of your body. You can try to rinse for hours and you will just be covered in slime. It is absolutely disgusting!!!Very inappropriate to continue with a personal telephone conversation while checking a guest in.Rooms are new, but not really being cleaned. Elevator door is opening before it reaches the ground and settles. They have a fake elevator inspection certificate. It shows it's for a Best Western. EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! Doors are paper thin, lightest weight doors I've ever felt at a hotel and I stay at 75+ a year. Eggs and sausage were literally cold. Whomever is running this needs to go back to running their crack motels. STAY AWAY, you will regret it in the morning if you stay here.Rooms: New

Positives: location is good. We had a wedding and the room was 5 minutes from the location. Easy location to get to. Room and Hotel clean. Polite staff.Negatives: lobby was HOT but room was cool. 🤷‍♀️ We booked a couple weeks in advance and wanted a single king. Was told only double queens were available. Asked again at checkin. BUT there were like 10 cars in the parking lot. Did they do this to charge more??? My biggest complaint was the bed. It literally felt like I was sleeping on concrete. No give or cushion. I actually got up at 3am and tried to sleep in the chair but it didn’t recline. So I took all the blankets and pillows off the other bed and tried to cushion the bed I was sleeping on. Woke up with back pain. Didn’t eat the breakfast so can’t comment except for that it did not look appealing.AND the little shampoo/lotion etc you get. Was half empty🤮 I mean dang!! Can you replace it between people. That’s so gross! Did take a shower (with my own shampoo) and the water smelled really bad ughTissue also looks like it was stuffed back into the box.There were only a few hotels to choose from in the town. Next time I will drive the extra 20 minutes to LaGrange.

AWFUL MANAGEMENT!!! BEWARE! This is an average hotel nicely re-done under new management (Choice Hotels). This place is nothing more than an money-grab though. I booked a room through Travelocity and mistakenly entered the wrong arrival date. I cancelled immediately after realizing I made this mistake (within 5 minutes) and NEITHER the HOTEL nor TRAVELOCITY would allow me to change the date of my reservation or refund the money. Either return on the incorrect date or lose the full room cost. BEWARE! - BEING HUMAN AND MAKING AN HONEST MISTAKE WILL COST YOU! I will never spend another $ at this hotel, through Travelocity, or with CHOICE HOTELS ever again.

****Edit update at bottom****We made reservations 2 months in advance as part of a very large group outing, a group large enough that filled this place plus the Holiday Inn next door, where a discounted group rate had been agreed upon for each location. We verified, with this hotel, we were part of the group with the correct price on 3 separate occasions leading up to our stay. Upon checking out, I again asked that we were receiving the group rate and was told, in fact, that we were being charged the regular rate because our room wasn't in the group block.Trying to understand their position, the "manager", in the middle of my calm questions decided he wouldn't talk to me any longer and attempted to "dismiss" me.As another couple from our group came off the elevator, I mentioned that they would need to check their charges as the hotel was not honoring their agreement, the manager started yelling that I was wrong and I was lying and that he had to call 911 on me.Front desk and customer service is non existent.The rooms are usable, something that could be expected of a 20 year old stop. The front lobby was extremely hot, but the ac in the room seemed to work fine, the refrigerator in the room did not work, was making noises and defrosting.Should the management, or preferably the owner, decide to make things right and honor the agreement, I will gladly update this review.*****A call was made to the hotel to have the paid receipt emailed. Within minutes, a receipt was received showing the inflated rates, then a phone call from the hotel to verify the receipt was received. During the call, another receipt was received showing a credit to reflect the agreed group rate. At this point, my complaint has been addressed.The hotel has potential if the front desk will take hospitality seriously.

I would have liked to give 5 stars but I had to leave and go sit in a restaurant from 11 to 2pm because they would not allow me to have a later than 11 checkout. Sometimes it's the small things that make a hotel feel like home, and since I don't get kicked out of my home for needing to loiter I can only give 3 stars. Work hours for SOME of us are 3pm to 3am. I prefer a place that works with the customer instead of forcing policies that do not actually effect the hotel on a one off basis. It would have been kind and generous to allow me to stay in the hotel until 1pm and I think that could have happened without hurting anything.

The nastiest bathtub ever! Opted to not take a shower in this nasty place! The front desk was offended when I told them about how dirty it was! The response was: "we clean our bathtubs everyday" Yeah right! if you clean your bathtubs everyday, it would not be in such a deplorable condition. Nasty Nasty! Don't stay at this place ever! It actually deserves three NASTY!!!! I think we would much rather use the water hose outside than step in the nastiest bathtub! Full of crud and crustiness all around the ring around the bathtub!

Bath tub was rusty, water smelled bad, ice machine broken on 3rd floor, no juice for breakfast, sausage sitting in lots of watery grease, waffle mix was very watery, floor in our room was still dirty as well as the floor in the bathroom. Front check in lady was very nice though and bed was very comfortable. The ac in the room works very good too but it was very hot in the lobby.

Great Staff. Late checking in without any problems. Rooms very comfortable and relaxing. Bed's were very comfortable plus both staff members were bilingual very helpful. Only problem is bathroom door doesn’t shut.

This was my first time at a Best Western. Celebrating my birthday, with a quiet getaway from the stress of the big city. From day 1 at registration to day 4 on departure this hotel staff was totally Amazing. They truly go out of their way to make sure everything was as pleasant as possible. Best customer service I have had from a hotel. From the wonderful housekeeping staff, who made sure I had everything needed in my room. The nice lady, who prepared a great breakfast, greeted you with a wonderful Good Morning to start out the day. Big Plus. ALL of the Front Desk Clerks where Outstanding from arrival to departure. Very accommodating, friendly, very helpful just plain nice. So perfect coming from the attitude problems of the city. This hotel TRULY has the Nicest staff I have ever seen. Seriously. The room was gorgeous and very comfortable & homey. I have absolutely NO complaints about this hotel. Will DEFINITELY be staying here again. Kudos to This hotel and ALL of her staff.😊👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤

Checked In around midnight and turned on A/C fell asleep. I awoke hot and sweating A/C did not work. Rooms are not inspected before they rent the room. Front desk person was rude I believe he was manager telling me to leave changed max rate for room. Stay are your own risk. Never never stay here again

Every one of the staff we met was very friendly and the breakfast was good. Everything else is run down and needs maintenance (there were workers in some of the rooms redoing them. Looks like they will be nice after the upgrades). Our room smelled pretty bad when we walked in. My husband knew it was the ac vent screens so he took them out and cleaned them. Smelled slightly better after that. Blankets and sheets were thin, there was a large hole in the wall with the door stopper pushed into it, tub had orange mildew/mold in the corners. Overall I would stay here again but have low expectations coming into it.

Horrible. Don't do it. Keep searching. 150 a night for a dirty smelling room. AC isn't working. Only staying 1 night or I'd switch rooms. It seriously smells. I itch. I've stayed at some shady places before but this tops it. It's a Best Western Plus???!!! There's no "Plus" about it. It's not a "Plus" It's a horrible room. Fridge isn't cold(on max). Shoulda stayed next door at the Hilton.....same price.

We stayed there for one night.Pro- Room size was decent. Bed was comfortable.Cons- No wifi in room. Room floor was really dirty, rug probably wasn't vacuumed for a month. Lift was broken. (The guy in reception mentioned this while check in though.) Breakfast was for name sake. Boiled egg in breakfast was smelling terrible. They put 2 - 3 bananas in a table and didn't bother to fill in later. There was a waffle maker, however waffle mix wasn't there.

When we got there lobby and hall stunk from cooking food. It was so strong it made our eyes water. It even entered into our room. The towels were mismatched with the one bath towel being small and quite thin. The closet door was broken and just hanging. We had stayed here several times before and it used to be in much better shape. It was quite expensive for what condition the rooms were in

Very Clean, comfortable bed, large bathroom. The shower had handrails for safety and big fluffy towels. Although we didn't take advantage of breakfast it was available. Our room was just off the elevator but was extremely quiet. We would definitely go back!

Pet-friendly so I left my dog's food bowl out overnight and there were fire ants all over the bowl. The breakfast was ok. The sausage tasted odd, but there was a variety of foods. Toast, bagels, cereal, waffles, eggs, sausage, yogurt, coffee (regular and decaf), apple, orange, and cranberry juice. The front desk was friendly! Customer service goes a long way! I informed the CS rep about the ants and she said she would look into that. Oh, I also had trouble with the TV. The cable wasn't connected. Couldn't see any channels.

Save your money for the Holiday Inn just down the road. Had high expectations for a Best Western "Plus" but its just plus a load of bull. Staff was nice, however, room looked like it has never been vacuumed, restroom had stains, ac looked like it's never been blown out, gross stain on the curtain, stains spots on the walls, had some candy dropped in a corner and never cleaned, elevator looked like it was very badly cleaned, had to unplug mini-fridge because it was so loud. Never staying here again

Stains in bed and shower. Looks like room was barely cleaned. Air conditioning worked poorly, wall thermostat was broken. When we arrived at 3:15 pm for check in, told room wouldn’t be ready for another hour (check in was at 3:00 pm and we had somewhere to be at 4:00 pm). Offered a snack for the inconvenience, but we found they were expired after we took them. Stay somewhere else if possible.

Very disappointed in this hotel. The bed was not comfortable. They had two ice makers that did not work. When my husband asked about him the clerk did not even offer to try to find any ice. The bathtub had rust in the tub. One of the complementary shampoos was half used. We had to ask for a bar of bath soap. We will probably not stay here again. For $140 a night you would think that you could get better service than this.

Giving this place 4 stars only due to the staff they were amazing and deserve 5 stars plus. However gave only 4 due to everything else. Typical run of the mill hotel. Nothing too great. Don’t get this room for hot tub, as the hot tub is not even hot...even after another few guests literally were outside in pool/hot tub all day. Very disappointed because that’s honestly the only reason I chose this hotel over Holiday Inn. Everything else went as expected with a hotel. Everything looked good, AC worked well, and breakfast was decent.

Bed was comfortable with clean sheets and linens. The room was spacious and quiet. The breakfast was a standard "continental" breakfast with toast, cereal, oatmeal, and yogurt.Unfortunately, the pool and hot tub were both dirty and ice cold. The front desk attendant said to turn on the timer and the water would warm up, but after 30 minutes it was still ice cold.

We checked in for a wedding and first walked into our room and was overwhelmed with the smell of mildew from the air conditioner so went to the store for candles and lysol due to the lack of cleaning done to the room. After arriving back we saw 2 different bugs crawling on the bed. So we packed our things up went to the wedding and drove the 2 hours home just so we didn't have to stay in our awful room. If I could give less than 1 star I would!

Average hotel. Clean room but bathroom needs overhaul. Faucets appeared unclean but are just old, bathtub finish is stained and looks more like a super 8 piece. T.V. is nice but the signal went out twice. Called and front desk host came up. He explained sometimes that happens? The room was free using a night stay voucher I had earned so that's a plus...good rewards program saved me from having to overpay at this place...

Bad experience at Best Western the rooms smelled like sleazy hotel. I vomit with the smell of garbage in the hallway. Hit my head on a closet door with a broken lash. The linen was so worn out I could see myself in the other side. The pool and front desk personal were great.
