We're so happy with Pawderosa! I want to start by saying how wonderful and enjoyable the staff is to work with. Our puppy Ace (1 yr old shih tzu) has completed their puppy level 1 training and now is in the puppy level 2 training. We’ve seen a big improvement in Ace’s behavior and we owe it all to Katelynn who has been personally working with Ace. Socializing him with other dogs and people has helped him to not always feel threatened and feel the need to bark all the time. Additionally, he is developing positive habits, and we often find him exhausted at home because he had a busy day. Another thing that I love about this facility is that it’s clean. I feel good when I leave Ace here and he is always so happy and excited when we pull up to the facility. We are happy customers!!

Our Max really enjoys staying here when we are gone for a few days. He loves playing with other dogs, and we feel confident that the staff loves caring for pets. Weekend hours are a bit short for pickup, so count on an additional day's fee if you can't pick up in time. They give a report card so you can get great feedback.

I called and booked a few day stay with grooming and boarding. Janie helped me, very sweet lady. My daughter was able to take care of my dog while I was out of town, Marshall Tucker Band concert, so I did not use their facility.I can say that they were so very helpful in receiving a fax of my pups shot records. Everything was super easy to schedule and I will use them in the future. I cancelled a couple of hours after scheduling the appointment. They were great, no threats of you will be charged $x for cancelling.I have family, including a paralyzed Disabled Vet in San Antonio., therefore I go there often. Here is Chouchou enjoying Dairy Queen ice cream on Burnett in Austin where they give dogs free ice cream with a small, appropriate milk bone on top.I will update after I use their services in the future.

Before I called I looked on the website. Saw “Full Service Grooming” if a business is going to advertise this, I would think it would include haircuts for pets. It does not offer haircuts. So then it’s false advertising because it’s definitely not “full service”

I Have been using Pawderosa for a year.Im very impressed with the staff.The facility is clean and very safe to leave your pet without any worry.If you have concerns or issues they are quick to make sure you are happy and taken care of. I highly recommend giving Pawderosa a chance to earn your business because you will use them over and over whether it's for over night stays a bath,haircut or doggie daycare you will be happy you did. The groomer is completely Amazing!! She did everything I was hoping she could do.My standard poodle looks and smells wonderful 💖

We send our doberman pup Apollo here pretty often when we need boarding. He seems to really love it there and gets so excited when we drop him off.Customer service is always on point, and staff are always friendly and welcoming when we arrive. Definitely recommend.Added plus that we get pics of him with the package we purchase. So helps to keep me reassured he is doing well. :)

Pawderosa Ranch is my go-to boarding for my fur babies. I never worry about leaving them with the crew at the Schertz location. Every Pawderosa techs I've encounter from start to finish has been great! Communication by phone, email and in person is A+. You can't get better than that. Hands down 5 stars from me!!

Shiner LOVES Pawderosa Ranch for doggie day care or lodging with his FURfriends! They have great monthly PAWties to attend; the staff are very friendly and just love on him all the time and lots of playtime Very reasonably priced packages. Wonderful groomers too. Shiner's been going to the Ranch for years. They provide a military discount.

My pooch always gets super excited when I grab her food bag before we head over to Pawderosa ranch. She has learned that food bag means an awesome stay. Her attitude towards going there is quite the reassurance I needed to judge her treatment.The staff is always welcoming and able to help us with scheduling.

I love Pawderosa in Schertz. Bullet my baby dog loves it at Pawderosa..we pull up and I do not even have time to put her leash on..once the door is opened she runs in jumps on there desk and is ready to play. The staff knows her by name and starts playing with her..great place to take your baby dog...she is always happy to see them and her friends. Always a customer.....thanks

My puppy stayed there Dec 8-10th. I did go to another doggie boarding/camp in Converse and decided to go with pawderosa instead of the other. My fur baby loved it and even came home with a lipstick kiss on her cheek. They loved her too.

My dog is always excited to arrive at Pawderosa and see the staff there. I have no doubt in my mind that he is well taken care of while I'm at work. They were quick to call me when there was an emergency and helped me locate an emergency vet. Pawderosa has been phenomenal and I plan to continue to bring my dog here for the foreseeable future.

My second time using Pawderosa was worth a review.Ashleigh K. groomed my pup. I asked for a Wheaten Terrier cut which is not common, and included a picture. Was provided an exact match! My pup doesn't like 'Pawdicures' but she did a great job anyway.I boarded for a busy trip and came back to a happy pup, made my kids and I so grateful. They take care of everything including medication. I got the Trailblazer Package which included a special treat and belly rubs before bed as well as photo updates. My preteen daughter got email updates via 'Bark Mail' and it helped ease the stress of being away from her companion.

I'm a crazy dog lady and was so worried my 11 month old puppy was going to have a hard time adjusting. The staff has amazing customer service and loves the hell out of every single dog there. They treat her so well and they'll treat your fur babies well too! They're well worth the cost so go for a tour asap! You'll be glad you did!

Very friendly staff and a cool facility. But a bit disappointed with the self-service options as a first time customer. For reference I was a dog groomer for 6+ years and have worked in salons with varying services to include self-service and boarding. It paid my way through college and I loved it! I recently moved back to the area and brought my dog for a self-service bath. I expected a dedicated self-service space, but upon arrival the staff had to check if there was room for us in the bathing room with the full service dogs. And I understand. It’s messy, loud, and you have to work around each other often times sharing tubs or blow dryers. All the things I’d expect if I was working there, but not as a paying customer.No dedicated space aside, at check in it seemed like I was expected to have my own shampoo. I was not offered ear cleaner, a brush, or towels—amenities that are a standard in all the salons I’ve worked/used before. They did let me use the high powered blow dryer in between dogs which was nice. Luckily I have my own nail clippers, but to free up space I clipped his nails at home. My pup is 9 pounds. I usually pay $10 but this was $15.All in all this seems like a great business but if you’re looking for a self-service facility, this may not be the best place for you and your puppers.

Kind, friendly, and amazing dog lovers! I never felt so comfortable leaving my pup anywhere but they are truly amazing with dogs! They took their time with our pup making sure he was comfortable. I highly recommend this place! I cannot wait to use them again in the near future!

I dropped off my dog for day 1 of his evaluation today. When I got there it looked really clean and the woman working the intake was super friendly. I felt very comfortable leaving my dog there.The five stars though is more about my experience leading up to dropping him off. The coordinator, Teresa, has been unbelievably helpful and responsive. A pet peeve of mine is when businesses go days without responding. Teresa is patient and seems to genuinely care. She also helped me set up an evaluation to drop off my dog for boarding school (they call it Lodge and Learn).

I started taking my pup to daycare about two weeks ago. He was apprehensive at first since it was a new place but after the first day he absolutely loved it. He gets excited every morning because he knows he’s going to have fun all day with the caretakers. I receive a report card on him every day and it’s really nice to read what he was up to all day. It’s also great for momma that he’s worn out from playing all day and is sound asleep on our ride home.

I couldn't be happier with my experience here! My great dane ducky needed a daycare and boarding facility and we are so happy to have found the best one! The staff is amazing and takes the time to work with him and give us progress reports each day. We also did boarding this weekend and it was such a relief knowing he was safe and we'll taken care of. He comes home happy and tired, thank you guys so much!!!

When my husband and I moved to San Antonio we saw billboards for Pawderosa Ranch and I though to check it out. We find the quality care we look for, the customer service we appreciate and the friendliness that invites us in. Since Fall 2017, we've experienced their services for boarding, daycare, grooming and play dates.Boarding: We used Paw for our first out of state visit to family. While I was worried to leave my pet, I was re assured with photos and informative phone conversations. Aside from traveling, we had to admit our newborn to the NICU twice and when we called asking if there was space, there wasn't any hesitation. They really helped us manage, what could have been, a very stressful situation. We were able to tailor her stay with the packages/activities we knew she would like, such as a certain amount of play times and nightly tuck in. I was so happy with the care that we decided to use them for all boarding needs.Day Care: While my husband and I were both working full time, we knew that our beloved missed us and desired interactions of her own kind. We decided to send her to the daycare provided at Paw. The first day, I didn't know what to expect but it was obvious that she loved it. Since then, I don't work full time but if I have a long day of appointments or errands, I'll call and make reservations for her to attend. Even calling a day before, there is usually a space available.Grooming: My dog has short hair and doesn't require extensive grooming. When we first booked boarding we knew we would miss the pick up time, so we added a grooming service, which allowed us to extend the pick up time (which we really valued). When I arrived, I collected my dog and went to the car, then noticed that she appeared to still be dirty, around her legs and on a shoulder. I went back inside and found out that she attempted to break out of the kennel while drying. They apologized and comped the service and offered to groom her again. Although I wasn't satisfied with the service, the fact that they offered to correct their mistakes shows that they care. I know since then (Fall 2017) a new groomer has been hired and sounds as though there are great reviews so my experience may not reflect you own.Play Dates: Every so often both locations will host a party. For an inexpensive fee, I drop my pup off at the scheduled time and pick up usually 4 hours later. I've used this service a couple of times and find it perfect for when I need to run errands and don't want to schedule day care or just want to make sure my dog gains the interactions she needs. They usually provide a photo and a treat to take home, which I think is a nice bonus.Overall, I've been very pleased with the services I gain from Pawderosa Ranch and Doggie Play stay (Schertz location). I'm always greeted with a smile and I can tell that the staff really care for my dog. I'm VERY thankful for the services they provide. I know its hard work making sure customers are happy and while it is impossible to perfect any business, I'd say my experience aren't far from it.

The staff knows my pet and are always happy to see her. She loves going there and is always happy when I pick her up, so I know she was well cared for. I love the play package that offers "bark mail", it's an emailed photo of your pet at play. They offer daycare. Pick up and drop up times are convenient.

Awesome place, took excellent care of my dog for a weekend. The place is clean and unlike a lot of other places we've used to board, it doesn't smell. The staff is awesome and my dog seemed to be happy as well. A little pricey but if you can afford it, it's worth it.

I've been taking our golden retriever here for many months now and he has a blast! He plays with both the large and small dogs and is always happy to go. All staff I've dealt with has been cheerful and courteous. My only concern is they can't seem to get their cameras working for the overnight stays, but I believe that's an owner isdue. I want to see him when we have to board him! If I pay for a suite I want that camera option working.

The Pawderosa is a fantastic Doggie Daycare and boarding kennel. We use it for our three dogs and they always seem to have a Great time visiting there pup friends. They have a great schedule to work with the dogs on different things each and everyday.

Pawderosa is a great place to leave pets. All the people who work there are very caring and get to know your pet well. We love it for daycare as well as boarding. Best part, our dogs come home happy and exhausted.
