My Family and I are in the process of moving from La Marque to Santa Fe and i stopped by with my son and spoke with Morgan about collecting boxes from their newly stocked items, she was very nice and said sure, come by next Wednesday and we will save them for you in the back. That Wednesday i went and collected the boxes, no big deal. The Free boxes were very appreciated. Thank you Morgan.I then called last week and asked if they could set more boxes aside for us, the person i spoke to said that they could no longer give away boxes. This was really disappointing because they’re a local family owned business, not a corporation.Who knows the reason, maybe they have some tight contract with the company who picks up their boxes and I disrupted that. Idk, we just need boxes.Thanks anywayTim

It's just not the same as it was before it was sold the new owners change the way they do business, and it seems like every time I go in it's different rules I was loaded twice in one day with crushed concrete in my 1500 chevy went back a few days later and the rules changed and they refused to load me . been shopping at galco since 1982 I'm sad to say I'm done

Actual hardware store; 👍👏 the antidote to Lowe's & HD, with helpful, available staff and better selection/quality.We find here what neither of the big boxes carry, and no significant difference in prices.

Store is convenient and closer to my home and saves a drive out to big box stores. Some items are competitively priced with any other hardware stores but they have some items that are priced at the "charge them 5 dollars more we are closer". One thing that really took the second star is they make me feel like I'm being watched. I am a browser. I create and design in my head and it's my therapy but I always feel they must not trust me as I am in that store at least once a month and have spent a good amount of money with them. I shouldn't have to keep getting asked if I need help if I haven't asked for it and everytime I turn around they're right there. The woman are nice and are helpful the old guy not too much. Asked for water test kit and went to the like he was going to get it and came back with some excuse about my well guy is the only one that can do that. I smiled turned and walked off. He must know my well guy I guess.

It seemed like a neat store when I was inside. The employee in the back was very friendly, helpful and kind, no complaints. The lady at the cash register wasn’t, she made sure to let me know how she felt towards me for wearing a sports bra (it’s a shirt just an FYI) into a store. If I wasn’t needing the parts I bought, I would of left for her coming across so rude about it. I will not be returning and there are better stores to go to rather than having to deal with someone who has to nit pick at strangers trying to buy a part at a store. If people need to wear “shirts” update your site or make the sign on your door bigger because I didn’t see it when I walked out. Thanks for the nice welcome to Santa Fe.

Well I ain't coming back only needed weed eater string they had it at 3.49 cost with tax 4.21 with tax that's all I need well she wouldn't sell it to me because they have a five dollar minimum,I only had five dollar on debit being tight,welly american money is worthless because she needed.79 cents so bad that she could not make an exception,well on hunt for string again most will think I'm pretty but the minimum requirements is not the america I know and grew up with

Wow, this place has almost anything you need. I went to the very, well almost to the very back. These people are very helpful. You have something really specific if they don't have, they will guide you in direction that another may have it. I like and appreciate that very much.

Do not go there to buy a saw, I had one that was defective and the older gentleman tried everything to not give me a new one or my money back. After I threatened to call the main hub for Stihl he finally gave me my money back. I wouldn’t go here for any saw, just my opinion their over priced for all other Items aswell.
