I have been bringing my two dogs here for years but I wanted to make a special stop and leave this review after an incident began with my girl, Billie, yesterday. To put it simply, Dr Wallace and team saved my dog's life yesterday. They put their lives aside at 4pm to save Billie's. After my girl started acting funny, we brought her in and they immediately knew what was going on. They began surgery on my girl. Thinking my dog just had eaten something funny or something less severe, dr Wallace and team was able to immediately able to recognize the immediate severity and need to operate in order to save her life. She kept us informed throughout the evening - way past the normal business hours - and was planning on either taking her home with her thereafter or staying with my dog at the clinic to monitor her post surgery ensuring her proper recovery. I am so please to say that not only did my baby make it through the surgery but she is doing better and is going to heal up and be around for a few more years with us. I cannot express how grateful I am for the services this clinic provided to us - throughout the years for general care but especially last night in our time of need. Words cannot express how thankful I am that they are such loving and caring people. They go above and beyond - literally - are extraordinarily kind and knowledgeable. They put their own lives aside to save my baby's life last night and I am unbelievably thankful that we have people like this in Sanger looking out for our extended family members aka fur babies. Love you guys!! 💕💕

I cannot express how amazing this place is. With a disabled wife, they came to our home and did an exam of our cat. Not only that they came to get him for his appointment. Ladies thanks to everyone who took such good care of him during his final hours. He was 14 years old and lived an amazing life with us.

I brought my dog in for a bladder problem he was having. After the vet came out and explained what needed to happen we a agreed to schedule a surgery to take care of my pup. They then come out 10 min later saying my dog is dying and they want to euthanize him. They told me I would not be allowed to see him as he was dying which broke my heart as it would any pet owner. They offered no explanation as to why he died in their care and proceeded to charge me 500 dollars for his examination. This happened 2 years ago and has been to hard to write about but I believe that people need to know what happened. I'm not saying I'm blaming the people there for my dogs death but they offered no explanation as to why my 3 year old dog died in their care.

The Staff, here, really showed Their concern for our sick Dog, these last 2 + Weeks! She ended up having Surgery, last Thursday, to remove an Object, she had eaten. The Staff, and Dr. Wallace, have ALL gone Above and Beyond! They have been SO Kind, Understanding, and Knowledgeable, during this stressful couple of Weeks!Their attention to details was very impressive and appreciated! Before Surgery, Vet Tech, Nicole asked if I wanted to spend some Additional Time with Our Dog, just in case things didn't go well. My Husband and I really appreciated That Extra Time with Bailey! Also, Dr. Wallace has had Me call her, Every Day for an Update on Bailey. Today, is the first day, since last Thursday, that We haven't spoken on the phone. (We decided, daily updates weren't needed anymore, unless there was a concern.) Dr. Wallace didn't have to do That!Our Dog is recovering well and We could not be more Grateful for the Wonderful Care She continues to receive, as She Recovers!I don't know Everyone 's Names, but from The Phone being answered with Kindness, to Everyone We worked with, THANK YOU! Great local vet. They really care about the animals and will work with you to give them the best care possible. Won't let you in the office yet, I am guessing its still because of Covid but not sure. Overall, I recommend them highly.

Love this place when they're having a vaccination deal or I'm needing emergency services. Staff is always super sweet. They're just pricey. My dog got bit by another & my regular vet didn't have any openings for two weeks so I went to Paws & Claws. They were able to get my pup in THAT DAY. Only thing I didn't like was I went ahead & got my pups flea medicine (Bravecto). That's already not cheap, I usually get it for around $50, they charged me $110 for the single dose. It still flabbergasts me to this day. I understand charging more for a last minute appt, a flea med shouldn't be upchanged like that though. 🙃

I recently moved to Sanger and was looking for a local vet for my dog. The person who answered the phone was very friendly. Unfortunately, this clinic only has curbside appointments. This made me feel a little uncomfortable since it’s my first time at this clinic and I didn’t want to leave my pet by herself for her exam.

The care here is wonderful, however I won’t be bringing my pet back due to their covid protocols. It’s 2023 and they’re still taking pets from their owners in the parking lot and making owners wait in their cars during visits. I can’t get on board with this sort of practice. My anxious dog did a lot worse without us present and we chose to not even finish the exam. He was stressed. Sad they won’t change back.

We love everybody at Paws and Claws. They are so kind and so helpful. Dr. Wallace is great! They have worked miracles with my senior dog, who sadly passed away at the ripe old age of 28. I will definitely continue to take my 2 youngsters. They are super friendly and helpful. Recommend to anybody with pet needs!

My dog is way more rambunctious than most, she is almost 7 and still a puppy at heart. And to top it off, she can be a little snappy when it comes to needles, I was worried about not being able to go inside the office with my pup. But they made the whole experience amazing! Will definitely be coming here anytime we need work done.

The best experience I have ever had with a vet. She took time to show me how to stop the puppy biting, told me stories while she held and established "who is the pact leader," and the puppy quickly melted in her arms and was well behaved. I would highly recommend Paws and Claws. The staff is awesome. The price is reasonable. ❤

Whether its routine or urgent care I have always felt that my fur babies are welcomed and really cared for here. They are sincere and try very hard to do what's needed without costing a fortune. Occasionally the wait is long, but that's worth it for quality care.

I’ve lived in three different cities and used vets in each. By far, Paws and Claws is the very best one. The staff bends over backwards to make you and your pet feel comfortable. They truly love animals. Dr. Wallace is knowledgeable and empathetic. She knew just what my German Shepherd needed. We are so fortunate to have Paws and Claws in Sanger!

Dr. Wallace and her staff went above and beyond to help our cat Dexter. Paws and Claws is not our vet, but when our vets office said they were "too busy" to treat our cat, who is an established patient of 3 years, Dr. Wallace managed to squeeze him in, even though they were booked solid and very busy.I highly recommend Paws and Claws.

Have been using this vet both for my pets and my strays I find for many many years. Dr. Wallace and her staff are always gentle and kind both with my pets and Me! :) I recommend her highly to all I know with pets and they agree. She is the best. No unnecessary testing- she knows when she sees your pet what is going on. She is that good. Can't say enough good things about her. She and her staff are top notch!

Worst clinic ever!!!! Waited outside in my car for 20 minutes and no one talked to us besides give us a paper to fill out. As just there for a simple appointment and no other cars or clients were there we were the only ones and still no one came out. They were very confusing asking for records from other clinics that we’ve never been to before. I just needed my dog to be looked at for hot spots. Very unprofessional and will never go back again. Just ended up leaving since my time is obviously not important to them.

Dr. Wallace and her team are wonderful! They care about your pets like they are their own. They've been there for me when there's an emergency after hours and even come to my home when I couldn't physically bring one of my fur-babies to the clinic.
