The doctors, technicians, and staff at Springtown Veterinary Hospital are more than just doctors, technicians, and staff. They are such special, caring people who constantly go the extra mile to help your fur baby. After using Springtown for our two dogs for six years, we moved away from San Marcos. But we trust the entire crew so much that we make the drive back anytime one of our babies needs to see one of the doctors. They are worth the trip.

I’ve brought my cat here a few times and have seen two of the doctors, and each time walked away happy that I chose them. It’s clear that everyone in the building cares about the well-being of your pet. The doctors always clearly explain any issues your pet may be having, and have been fully willing to answer any questions I had for them, as silly as some of them may have been. As long as I am in the area, my kitties will be coming here!

My family and I have been going to Springtown Vet Hospital for as long as I can remember. My family and I are big supporters of this clinic and we recommend everyone we know to take their pets here. We have moved to another town since we first started going here but we continue to make the commute because they’re just that great! All the veterinarians are amazing and so are their staff.

We were nervous to find a new vet when we moved to town especially because we have an anxious pandemic pup. Springtown Vet has made us feel right at home and have been so great with our pup! They are very thorough and their follow up is so thoughtful! We LOVE dr. Lambert and all the vet tech crew! prices are also very fair.

Amazing care. Our beagle Copper had a huge mass on his spleen and required urgent surgery. The staff at Springtown were able to see him immediately and fit him into the surgery schedule that week. They kept me updated during and after the surgery and were just awesome. Every single person there seemed to genuinely care about our Copper and want the best for him. I am planning to make Springtown our regular family vet and am sure all our animals will receive excellent care.

I turned to this particular vet when my dog had severe gastro issues and needed overnight treatment. They got him in late in the day, and were more reasonably priced than other vets in my area. A year later we are still with them. Super kind staff from front end to back. Definitely recommend.

I have taken my pets here for over 20 years. I live in South Austin. That should tell you how I feel about them. I keep coming here because of the standard of care my cats receive. It is higher dollar but they have much of the equipment there and can get me results faster, which means faster care for my cats. I will only accept the best for them.

Dr. Martin is the absolute best! I love this vet office so much. They always show genuine care and concern for our dog Floyd and are very transparent about pricing and payment options.On a recent occasion my dog Floyd went lame in his hind leg so I immediately called and frantically explained to the office staff what was happening over the phone. I offered to email them a video to show them the symptoms I was observing in real time which they invited me to do while we were still on the phone. After seeing the video the office staff member went to immediately consult with the Doctor who made room in her schedule for Floyd right then and there. I cannot express how much this meant to me as Floyd if the most important being in my life.They are very communicative and always go the extra mile to check up on Floyd after each appointment and even beyond if I have any questions or concerns that come up. I recommend the Springtown team to anyone that wants the very best and most compassionate care for their fur babies.Thank you to all of the staff at Springtown from Floyd and his mom and dad. <3

I love Springtown! I’ve had different vets and techs every time, and they’re always perfect. They always work me through the prices of everything before they do it, and they explain everything thoroughly. They also treat my dog so sweetly, and I can always hear them gushing over him when they take him back for shots or tests. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!!

Dr. Dan Nowland is amazing! The team at Springtown have been so compassionate through our struggles with our two dogs— when one of them passed away, and when the other got very sick. They’ve treated us kindly and empathetically, taking the time to ensure that we feel comfortable with the treatment necessary for our pups, as well as making sure that we know 1) what they’re doing 2) how it ties into the treatment needed for the animal and 3) their goal for said treatment. Their transparency has been wonderful and we will continue to recommend Springtown. :)

Ladies at the front desk are no different.They were able to take us in on a very short notice despite of being extremely booked after hearing what our concerns were.Will be coming back to this clinic! Your front line of team members started the experience off right - the people who answer the phone and greet you at the desk are awesome - they are very personable, knowledgeable and friendly. The doctor was on time, and his team of assistants were verry good. The pricing was fair, atmosphere was nice - all around - a very good experience!

This is 100% the best vet in town!! They actually care about the animals!! I went to "all creatures" on benicia road with a dying mother cat, she had a kitten stuck inside her, she was a stray cat but clearly suffering. I offered to pay for any procedures even if it was putting the animal down, because the animal was clearly suffering!!! They wouldn't even watch her while I went and got a ride, they made me carry this dying cat down the road in 100degree weather, and yes the animal later died. Springtown vet on more than one occasion have clearly shown me the animals are number one priority and money is second. They truely care about animals and I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else!! Once again they have proven to me to be the best vet in town. They saved my cat again and I'm forever in their debt!! Thank you springstown vet people!! You are the best!!!!

Oh wow. Where to start. Saturday mid morning time.We had a very traumatic emergency with a 7 week old puppy that was attacked and needed immediate medical attention. I had no idea where to take him so I frantically called the first Emergency Vet I could think of. The man I spoke with on the phone was more than patient with me while I panicked in his ear. I am so incredibly greatful they were open and available.We arrived at the clinic to them opening the doors and arms stretched out ready to take care of "Baby Dog".The entire staff was helpful and catered to all of our needs and answered any and all questions.Christa, the Veterinarian was incredibly knowledgeable and helped ease all our anxieties as she gave us all the details of what had come of Baby Dog.Thankfully Baby Dog is alive and had such an amazing medical staff to aid him in such an awful time of peril.We left the clinic with the proper medications, resources if needed, and a life time of loyalty.We are forever greatful for everyone at Springtown Veterinary Hospital. Y'all have made a whole world of difference and we owe every one of you a thank you.Baby Dog is home and healing thanks to Y'all.

Dr. Martin and the technicians, staff, and fellow doctors at Springtown Veterinary are incredible. Both of my cats have chronic conditions that started with acute onset symptoms, and Dr. Martin has put her whole heart into caring for them both. Springtown was so great about getting out Ellie in right away for a drop due to some issues she was having. Dr. Lambert has been treating our pets for about two years now and we love her! She is always thorough and responsive to questions. Friendly staff and pets are always treated well. I truly believe they treat our pets as if they were their own.

Unfortunately life hits you and your dog you had of 12 years needs to get put down. We all have to die, and our pets almost always go first. I found this place because it’s near by the gym I go to. I went inside and asked questions about the whole process of putting a dog down. It was my first time to do it, I had no idea how much it cost, if I had to schedule an Appointment or how long it takes to go in and out. These people front desk ladies were very Very sweet and answered all my questions with care. I actually never took my dog to the vet she was 17 years old I believe when she passed away. 12 of those years were with me when I adopted her. So I had a good idea on how much I needed to save for her death which didn’t break the bank depending on what you wanted to do with the remains. I decided not to keep anything like paw print or ashes, I felt like I had enough pictures and memories stored in my heart I wouldn’t need anything physical to remember my love. The day before I took her to the vet. She was in a little pain, back leg was dragging stopped working maybe it was dislocated but to me it was the 3rd and final straw of an episode happening and I made the decision to have to put her down. The next morning Saturday morning I called when they opened at 8:30. They answered. Set up a appointment that day at 11. So I had a few last hours with my girl. It was simple. I went in. Didn’t have to wait long at all. Within minutes and on my pace. She left this earth pain free. And I was right by her side. Anyways I really like this vet. I would recommend it to anyone with a pet they love. They even sent me a card on the mail a week later to lift my spirits. I miss my girl. I’m glad I found a good place that took care of her with it was necessary. If y’all are reading this I want to say thank you and I appreciate the love and support everyone showed. I’m sure y’all deal with this a lot since it is a vet, but still you treated Me and my pet like we mattered.
