I came in with some problems on my new mobile contract. I was helped by a great representative at this location , his name was Shawn. Shawn went above and beyond to help me get situated, I wish could give more than 5 stars for the customer service I received. Spectrum needs to work on their customer service attitude. I talk to some guy named Ryan over the phone and tried selling me stuff and when I refused he end up charging me all kinda of stuff that I did not order. And now I came to San Marcos store to drop off my equipment. And the one dude who came to help me was like you have to take your box with you, but we can return the equipment for you. They are just so damn rude.

Spoke with an Andrew (called out of the San Marcos area) and he was super helpful and patient worked with me when I cut my internet line on accident with the mower!Now I have a toddler and heaven forbid we don't have Bluey 24/7🤣 He workes to get a tech out THAT SAME DAY and I'm so grateful!I believe the Tech's name was Travis omg I can't remember but he was super nice too for being 8pm at night!! So grateful thank yall!!!

Been a Spectrum customer since Charter acquired Time Warner Cable in 2016. Service has generally been excellent until several weeks ago. For the past several weeks, my Internet has been cutting out serval times a week, sometimes for hours at a time. I’ve been told it was maintenance, an Internet outage, not an Internet outage, my faulty equipment, their system forgot my modem’s MAC address, their system cannot forget my modem’s MAC address, someone was out to repair my service, no one was out to repair my service, my download is OK but not my upload, my modem is offline when it’s online, and my modem is online when it’s offline. I’ve had appointments for service calls that were cancelled because they told me my service was restored, I’ve been hung up on, and I was offered a $20 credit to my account. I have another service appointment scheduled for tomorrow, but am shopping for a new ISP because I don’t expect my service will be repaired.

Training and service are horrible. Tried to authorize a Spectrum number to another Spectrum account . Young lady behind the counter said neither number was active. Yet I called the current number and it worked. Then I was told that the second number was not a Spectrum number. I checked that number and I was correct. Then I was told I couldn’t authorize the number at the store, I had to call customer service. When I calmly said “maybe I need a new provider”, she developed an attitude and impolitely dismissed me to leave. My last words to her and to Spectrum are “if you treat customers like that, they won’t come back.” That’s exactly what plan to do.

As always, I entered the store with apprehension, but with Leonardos radiant positivity I genuinely enjoyed my time spent running a cumbersome errand today! He is absolutely phenomenal at patiently answering a million questions and soothing concerns. Michelle also played a huge part in brightening my day- she is not only a rockstar manager, but excells at leading her team by example and providing customer service exceeding all expectations.

At the time we had Spectrum set up our service they laid the cable from my home across the property next door which is under construction. No attempt was made to bury the cable although I made several requests of Spectrum to have the cable buried. As can be seen in the attached photo's the cable burial never happened, and the cable was exposed to damage. I cancelled service and went with the competition.

Spectrum seriously needs to change how they do business. The right hand never know what the left is doing. Went in to exchange a router and was helped by L who said that the people we talked with about exchanging the equipment know nothing about the store and how they do things. So instead of replacing the router was told that the router and modem needs to be replaced. Not what we were told and now have to make another trip back to the store to return the old modem.One more reason to find another provider.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The WiFi at our complex although it’s free and I know it won’t be as fast, NEVER WORKS. I know uptown management calls them and they come to “fix” the problem but it’ll be good for a day if that and then is out again. As a college student I find it hard to believe that the WiFi is this bad and it can’t be addressed. DO BETTER SPECTRUM !

They keep going up too much every year for recurring customers. They charge new customers half of what they do regular customers. Find somewhere else. Absolutely outrageous internet fees. I will be looking elsewhere. They don't tell you they are going up either. They just slap you with a new bill. Almost 100.00 a month just for internet.

Parking is always available, and the staff is very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Check-in is easy, and there is generally seating available except during infrequent high volume days.

Tried returning equipment for a business account and they refused to help. They make you go to a UPS store which doesn’t exist in San Marcos. So glad I’m not giving these lazy, smug hipsters my business.

Spent 3 days looking for Spectrum mobile. Two stores on line do not exist??? Staff here helpful but did not solve my iphone problem. Said familiar with VIA transit system but didn't know what bus stop # is. Oh well overall product is acceptable. Would I recommend? Absolutely.

5 star review all the way. Excellent customer service. We were assisted by Austin. He made the transition to new phones a breeze. The perfect combination of professionalism and friendliness. We could not have had better service. It was perfect.

Way overpriced after the sign up special. Not worth 269.00 a month no phone. Associates couldn't give a care in the world. Glad to turn in my equipment and give my money elsewhere.

I had a box with equipment sent by Spectrum. The employee promptly pointed out that they could not take the box since it did not come from the store. This is probably not their fault, and it is probably a policy. Thanks for never failing to amaze me with your terrible customer service Spectrum.

Just like others have noted,No continuity through departments. Customer service representative says one thing that works for us. Go into Spectrum store & In store associate disagrees and won't help. Now I’m left with a bill I shouldn’t have because of misinformation. Will recommend anyone I know to never get spectrum. Terrible experience.

I just left the store. My spouse already called(they said she didn't) and had me added as an authorized user, qualifying me for their mobile service, and I just got turned away. You want me to have her call again and come back in for your commission(his exact words). Nah I'll save you that commission and order it online(logged into the account as authorized right now), cause you don't deserve that commission. Most unhelpful customer service you could ever hope to find. What a joke and a waste of a drive.

Just left this store. Sounds like my experience was in line with everyone else’s. Staff is unamused, not particularly helpful.Although, they seem proficient at up selling little old ladies data and plans that they probably don’t need though.

Their sales people came to my house to offer their service, without my permission, created an account, sent technician next day to install equipment and sent me a bill, they ask for name, number and email(huge mistake) just in case we decided to sign up. I called sales guy and he didn’t have access to closing an account,(but had access to make one), called main number and they ask for a “security code”, how would I have sec code if I didn’t make account to begin with??! Was finally told they could find it by texting a code to cellphone, then was told account was closed and still received emailed bill, when I call back they still try to pressure me into getting internet and phone service, unbelievable! I’m not even signed up with them and they’re this difficult to deal with, wow! I can’t imagine the hell they give their customers! Definitely dodged a bullet

It was so easy to get our internet switched to our name and turned on the same day. I made an appointment at the spectrum store. Went in and was called just as my appointment time came up. Showed them my new lease and immediately had service turned on. They gave me instructions how to install my Spectrum modem and router. I had great service. They bagged my internet kit up for me and I was on my way within30 minutes. Excellent service!

I love spectrum so much especially the employees at this location! They have been nothing but helpful and polite every time I come in with a problem because my pets chew on my wifi cords a lot. They’re always quick and fix the problem immediately without charging me and they give me a call to make sure everything is working right. I have had experience with other service providers and i would recommend spectrum to anyone over competitors. Amazing service and amazing employees! Thank you Spectrum!

The rep at this store was very hesitant to help me. I was the only customer in the store. I had an appointment also. He said he could not assist me in transferring my data from my old device to my new spectrum device because I ordered it over the phone not at the store. He couldn't wait for me to leave! Very dissatisfied.

Walked into store and was greated by sebastain he helped myself and my mom pick out 2 new phones. Transfered our information on both old phones to new. Excellent service would recommend him if anyone is ready to add spectrum phone plan to their current service.

Failed to disconnect my service. Charged me an extra month. They have the record of the request to disconnect. Lousy service, slow speed, expensive pricing, unreliable, and a tremendous pain to deal with. The company only exists because it thrives on monopoly power.

Should be a one star for their policies. Maybe a 3 star for internet only due to being overpriced. Basically this, they claim you buy a Subscription to get an extra month out of you when they jack up your rate an additional $20 or more when you want to cancel. Also they end their service to you even if they owe 29 days of service. They no longer PRO RATE your bill and they do not follow Subscription guidelines. Hopefully a class action lawsuit comes out of this scam!

If you try to "downgrade" your service with Spectrum, you're not allowed to do it online; you're forced to call them & then after playing phone tree for a good long while, they shuttle you to a "representative" who is in fact a high-pressure sales person who will NOT let you do the downgrade without going through 20 minutes of sales pressure, including trying to get you to switch to Spectrum mobile. What does that have to do with this particular store? Well, when you finally go there to turn in the cable boxes, you get a twenty minute wait in the lobby where you're encouraged to "browse" while two people slowly work through the crowd of people. And when you get to the guy to give him the boxes? Another high-pressure sales pitch for Spectrum mobile. Just stay away from Spectrum. Youtube TV is the same experience for half the price and if you want to "downgrade" you click a link. That's it. One link.
