This was an awful place me and my boyfriend walked in looking in awe at everything, but our moods quickly changed. Whatever girl with dreads is a straight b wasn’t showing any friendliness and anytime we had questions it was like “ugh why are you wasting my time” kind of response. We didn’t get her name we called literally right after we left and mind you she’s just sitting with her friend on the couch stuffing her face and didn’t pick up the phone twice. Shows what type of establishment y’all are running. We were going to buy $130 piece if it weren’t for her. Y’all better watch the tones and the way you approach customers if you can’t do that then get tf out of customer service industry. So sad I know a friend of a friend that works there and was really excited to buy something from there to show some loyalty but nope never again. I would still like to speak to a manager and fire that girl or get her to stay in the back or something because this was unacceptable she shouldn’t be the first/only face you see.

Been buying from here a lot lately due to it being close but the king palms aren’t being thrown out when needed to. For two weeks now I can’t even stuff a king palm die to it cracking and then when they ran out I bought the mint ones, can’t pop the ball without them breaking apart in my hands

DO NOT BUY THE ESCO BARS, THEYRE FAKE. me and my girlfriend both stopped by to grab a vape, they were out of literally everything except for esco bars, wonder why. The second I got home to try it, it tastes like the bottom of a shoe after walking 6 miles through a chemical waste plant. Should have listened to my friends as they had the same exact experience.

Very convenient hours (24/7) they stock a wide variety of products I use and an interested in. Really relaxed atmosphere, helpful and personable staff, especially Sam, she's outstanding in every way and helped me find just the right stuff to help my wife with a medical issue. She's always patient with me and her suggestions are on point every time. I'm actually more than a little bummed when I go in and Sam isn't there. The others are totally awesome, don't get me wrong, she's just obviously great at her job. Highly recommend this business!

Fabulous location and store w lots n lots of great hemp in many forms, great staff committed to great service!prices are highest of 4 SM hemp stores i visit often, but 3 shifts of staff for the 24/7 open hrs all but force such retail margin.Just from the scents was the quality of their flower very xlnt, but im wary of spending $50 on 6g of unknown bud as my first buy.Maybe offer sample flower hits at nominal cost per hit?...Also thinkn maybe offering flower per gram wud raise traffic better than no choice but 6 grams of flower all together.Staff were just great, very courteously attentive to fat old bald guy; they were sorry they had aught to offer in my price range; wish i cudda bought something there.

I was hoping to find just the right gift for a special friend and every employee I interacted with was beyond helpful! I ended up finding exactly what I needed. The store has a really great atmosphere and such a great selection! They were even able to order something for me from another store and it got here in no time! I highly recommend this place!

Awesome place! The staff is super friendly and very helpful and patient! I know I have a very difficult time finding e juice flavors because I am so picky but the associate was so nice and just kept trying to help me find something that I might like and it helped because I did get a couple different flavors to get. As a regular at 420 Planet I felt it was necessary to share my experiences as of late. Going here was always more than picking up smoking products it was always an experience and a good conversation with those behind the counter! In my last few visits I have noticed a 360 in not only customer service but also knowledge of items & prices. A couple of days ago I went early in the morning to pick up something and instead of the regular patience and welcoming attitude I was accustomed to i was met with what felt like impatience and ended rushing and getting the wrong item. Then again tonight I went in and it was quickly apparent that their work ethic was drastically and negatively incomparable to the former employees I’m used to. The girl with short blue hair would not stop trash talking former employees with the others working and directly to customers. This is extremely disappointing & I was not expecting to have to find a new smoke shop but here I go!

Got a nectar collector at planet 420 and I’ve only used it about five times. Notice it started to stress fracture and stopped using it. I cleaned it and took it into the store and they told me that there was nothing they could do about it. Very disappointed with the quality of glass. Will not be buying any more glass from the store. I recommend going to connoisseurs to pick up glass pieces in San Marcos. About nine months ago they had a really good staff there and they fired everybody and Brought on a bunch of new people that don’t know anything about glass or vaping. They only seem to want to sell disposable vapes and nothing more.

I don’t know what happened to this place, but my experience coming here has done a 180 recently for the worse. After reading some reviews here, it all makes sense. The new people here act like they have never picked up a smoking product in their life, and it’s a shame because the previous staff used to be so fun and knowledgeable to talk to. The environment feels so evidently different in here compared to how it’s been since it opened, but all I know is that I won’t be returning! Shady businesses like this don’t deserve your money compared to some obvious better choices around town.

Edit due to their response: I get they have policies but sometimes it is a good business decision to replace a product. If you guys replaced my $8 pipe I would continue to shop there. But since you did not you lost a customer. I would have spent more than $8 in the future because I know you guys stand buy your product. You don't though, and your employees either aren't trained for customer service or they simply don't care. Not sure which is wore. Didn't even address customer service in your response. 1 star review still stands. Don't shop here.Bought a pipe and went home it immediately shattered after being lightly set on a table, clearly something wrong with it. Called the same day to see if they could give me a new $8 pipe. "Ooh sorry boss no can do." Don't go here.Additionally, the customer service was terrible. Walked by 3 employees and they didn't say a word to me. I had to ask an employee to help me.

Misty, Brian, and Eva were beyond what a normal employee should be, they went out of their way to help me get a refund a new piece after I got a defective rig. So nice and amazing people at this store. Definitely recommend!!

Used to love going here to shop while visiting friends in the area, but I noticed there are a lot of different people working and the vibe has truly changed. The old staff was so knowledgeable and helpful, and now I feel like the new employees are only there for a quick check. Would definitely not recommend

If you want good prices don’t come it’s overpriced as hell and there are questionable vapes on the shelves. Look at the font and color of the boxes and the manufacturer on the back. It’s pretty easy to spot fakes when you have a baseline.For glass go to smoke screens, for vapes go to puff city, for puffco go to connoisseur, there’s a better shop for anything this place sells guaranteed.If you want friendly staff don’t come here bc the blatant disrespect from management has ruined the working environment and driven everyone you like away. All the names you see in these reviews are no longer working there and this place has been here since February. The turn over rate isn’t high because college students like to quit jobs Willy nilly. It’s because the company regularly disregards the needs of their employees and quite literally sets them up so they can be fired without legal recourse. Next time you go in don’t be surprised by all new staff because the regional manager regularly likes to power trip.Also they regularly delete reviews so unless you are a community guide they love deleting your review as false.If you remember the schnauzer he’s doing good and we live a much happier life away from the store and it’s toxic work environment. Also they threatened legal action against people to scare them into silence which is why we’re scared to say anything. And I’m honestly over it, not a thing I’ve said here is a lie but they will probably try that again.P.s. also 100% visit Lucy’s taco truck on the same lot. She’s a completely separate entity and is an amazing woman and cook. She cares for the plants and the kitties that call the area home. Her food is so goooood and she’s lovely to talk to.Edit: not even 20 minutes after posting this a current employee texted me a screen recording of this review and then unsent the message. Not sure if this was to scare me or if they sent it to the wrong person but a perfect example of how the company operates.

Stopped into this shop upon just arriving to San Mo. Nathan was super helpful, and pointed me in all the right directions. Super cute spot, and pet friendly! Even had a puppy greet me at the door! Amazing service.

I walked in today and didn't recognize anyone. All the friendly faces are gone and now there are older people running it. I miss the dog and was sold too many faulty vapes. I found out what to look for when looking at fake esco bars and elf bars and at least 1/3 of their dispos are fake. You'll be better off getting disposables elsewhere. Also their kratom is overpriced and their glass is super low quality. For high quality glass I'd go to connoisseur.

Horrible customer service, they pick and choose who to ID and who not to. When asked to speak to a manager everyone is all the sudden a manager refused to give a corporate number. They lost a loyal customer with this one.

Called to get some information on a product I was interested in. They don't disclose pricing over the phone, odd but whatever. The first time I called I was put on hold. Waited for 10 minutes and was never helped (I could hear them talking and laughing in the background) second time I called asking the same thing, I was hung up on. They've certainly lost me as a customer

Everytime I come here there is a issue. The first time the guy didn't know how to work the security system and couldn't let me in after he had me wait 20mins for them to open. Now that they are 24hr I thought I would give them another try. The door was locked at 9am. The girl forgot to unlock the door. HOW DO YOU LOCK A DOOR IF ITS OPEN FOR 24HR?Unprofessional around. I wonder what is going to be wrong on my next trip....

I haven’t been to planet 4/20 in about 5 months because I didn’t have a good interaction with the employees however, after coming back this weekend the new faces i’ve seen have changed my perception on planet 4/20! Apparently, they hired an entire new staff and management ?! And they are KILLING IT! I’m going to be telling all my friends and family about the new and improved planet 4/20.

I'm sorry, the prices here are so jacked up it hurts. The Boom Kratom is almost triple the normal price. The Urb Delta 9 gummies are 20 more expensive that other places. It's ridiculous. No wonder they're never busy. It's too bad since the staff is the saving grace.
