I visit here at least twice or three times a month and every time I go in I have to wait 20 minutes for someone to assist me in the fish department.Not enough workersAs for the the store itself it’s always clean pets are well kept in clean habitats and merchandise is well stocked and done neatly

I purchased superworms and crickets & didn't have any issues with them being dead upon arrival. I do appreciate them having small quantities of crickets already bagged now because it's hard to catch someone actually working in that department.

Me and this dude made eye contact as soon as I walked in and I could feel his love and goodness. I never pet/interact with a dog without asking but I had to pet this guy. I don't even know his name but he was full of kisses and tail wags. He's gonna be a great dog.P. S. This place has superworms.

got 2 fish today at pet-smart, a Red Tail Shark and Dinosaur fish. Both are super awesome and are getting adjusted to their new home here! The workers couldn’t have been more helpful with helping us find a fish and we couldn’t have been more lucky to have gotten such great assistance picking out decorations, fish tank, fish food, filter, and literally everything we didn’t even realize we needed!

Had trouble with prices ringing up wrong at the register. Once I showed the barcodes (in the pictures), it was corrected. Shouldn't have had to waste the time for this. Also had to wait for help with the fish. Other than those issues, it was fine.

The store is very clean and well stocked. Employees are friendly and willing to help you if needed. I was greeted when walked in and thanked as I left making me feel like a valued customer. Customer Service is hard to find now a days. So when you are treated with respect you deserve as a patron be sure to remember they deserve the same respect. Make someone's day with a smile and a thank you back it will make a difference.

I was a first time buyer for lizards and came here hoping to get one. The lady was sooo condescending and told us,” do you know anything about lizards because you clearly dont”. It was a first and she had such a horrible attitude. I didnt say anything back to her i just left the store but what is the employees problem?? Such an attitude for no reason.

Prices are so high compared to other stores. So many dead fish in the tanks. Cashiers are really nice and friendly.

Lady and Dixie, our standard poodle and poodle mix/mutt, get their grooming done here. They are always good with the dogs. It is best to establish a groomer you like and then ask for them. We drop the dogs before the appointment and then are notified of completion and head back over to the store. Staff are pleasant. We prefer this location over others and over other chains.

They did an awesome job on our dogs tucker the yellow lab and dexter the pug they even did my lab as an Express was so they would both be done at the same time and only took them about an 1 1/2 hrs to take care of them so if u need just a wash or a grooming have no fear they do an outstanding job

0⭐️ for customer serviceI was interested in shopping at the San Marcos location for my dogs food. They need Purina Pro Plan Joint Mobility which is a prescription. I usually get it through Chewy so i thought i would give them a call. On the recording it says they are currently not doing any stock checks, i get that! I still want to know if you even carry my dogs food before i drive all the way there. I was told by Charles he can’t do a stock check. Why even have a phone number then? I just want to know if i have the option to get my dogs prescription food as this is not offered everywhere. Great way to lose business PetSmart.

they luv my puppy.Nine years later, they still love her.Nikita loves going to PetSmart but she loves her Banfield Pet Vet too!She recognizes Dr Robbins and Dr. Van Trap by name. No kidding.When you go to back counter, you might see your furrbaby's name on the board.

I live 30 minutes away in Wimberley and after prematurely changing my African dwarf frogs into a new tank and water without waiting, my frogs started acting funny. Long story short, I was worried something was wrong and they closed in 30 minutes and the store manager offered to stay and wait for us to get there to try to help us get something to save our fish. The staff members who stayed were so kind, patient, and helpful. By no means annoyed the store closed 5 minutes before I arrived. I couldn’t be more thankful for their time and help.

Was sold "fresh" dog food that was expired 2 months ago. Will not give them another penny. Bought on 9/10/2020 expired on 7/7/2020. They only have 3 fridges, only 2 of them are ever half full. Surprised by their lack of care for their products.

For small pet's parents, Pet Smart have a big selection of habitats, food, toys, and accessories compared to the other pet shop. I was surprised of how many stuff they have just for hamster, and I like their prices better too.

I like the employee for understanding when I called about my betta fish died I had it for two days.they replaced it for me. Sorry she had to put up with a customer who complained about me getting back in line with her on my fish. She was very kind and making the lady customer understand that I was already in line. Cuz this lady was very rude being mad. I appreciate this employee for taking the time to help me ❤️

Staff was not even at store I had to sit and wait. I asked for grooming that did not happen. My doggie got a bath according to technician. There was no nice perfumed smell as previously expected. Charged sixty dollars for bath and nails? She then ask if I want appointment for grooming? I don't think soI noticed that there were 8 stations and 6 were empty.

The food I'm looking for is out of stock every time I go. If it's that popular they should buy extra I feel like. Petco in Kyle has more inventory and better prices so it depends on if you want to drive.
