I’m from Houston and regularly use H‑E‑B as my grocery store.If we had a Lowe’s market in Houston, I would use this store as much or more than my H‑E‑B market.I was really impressed with the hardware store attached to this location. I didn’t need anything from there this trip, but good to know they have both combined. If I need to make a run to the hardware store, I can pick up snacks, beer and other accoutrements to my project!The house brand pancake mix was awesome. Fluffy as could be and only add water!I’ll make a stop back here again when I’m back in the neighborhood. Keep up the good work!

I've been to this market a few times but the prices are normally pretty high at least twice as expensive as other market but there is nothing around for 10-15 miles

Such a nice little convenience store. I do just about all of my shopping here almost all the time. They have great deals, and very competitive low prices. The employees are always friendly and ask if you need help looking for something. It's a very nice and convenient place to go shopping and take care of all of your grocery needs.

Rude people who work there bought a heating lamp for 13.89 , come home and it’s just the cardboard box , no lamp. I called them .. they said” bring your receipt “ I got it, but I live 40 mins away … what the point ? The money I would get back I’d have to give it to the gas station!

I used to work for Lowes and I go by there every day on my way home. The store is very clean and in order. I believe in hometown business. All the employees know me by name. Keep up the good work. I wish I still worked there. Good job.

I go here because I live between the 2 towns. Also it's very clean and friendly staff. And the have a mini hardware store inside..

They have a good selection of produce and products. Prices are a bit higher than heb or Walmart, but its convenient to go here. Every single time I've come to this store, not even one cashier has ever said a word to me. Not even a hello. So at that, the service isn't great.

I think that Lowe's/Ace Hardware in San Diego,TX is such and excellent place to shop for what ever your needs are. It is so we'll stocked,even better then some of the retail stores in Corpus Christi. And there prices are so competitive,that it saves me a trip to Corpus and my savings make it an excellent place to shop. Even better then shopping in Alice,TX.

As for the Mercado, the store is always clean and they usually have great deals on fresh produce and meat. I can't say the same for everything else. Prices tend to be rather steep on things like name brand box pastas, certain canned veggies, ice cream, cereal and soft/sport drinks. Usually these items cost about twice as much as your local HEB. But over all the experience is pleasant and no where near as hectic as an HEB. I can appreciate the Ace hardware store conveniently located next door. It helps to consider the Lowes a one stop shop. But the prices are down right crazy. Will gladly make my way to Sutherlands in Alice.

Lowe's, also known locally as El Mercado (the market) is the only supermarket within San Diego. The store also houses a ACE hardware store, which is used by local building contractors. The food selection is a mixture of Hispanic and traditional American. Due to the San Diego being over 90% Hispanic American, a large portion of the staff is bi-lingual. Traditional Hispanic spices, pastries, and hand-made Chorizo sausage can be bought here. In addition to imported Mexican snacks and sodas. The store sells hunting equipment on a seasonal basis, which makes it a convenient stop for traveling hunters.

Anytime you need last minute groceries like beer , chips , dip and tortillas. You name it they have it. No need to travel farther , just turn to Lowe's.
