Went in to get a flu shot and was told it was appointment based. No biggie, I was the only one there so shouldn’t be a problem. I was told the first available appointment was at 2:20…it was currently 1230. I asked how about now since there was literally nobody else in the entire pharmacy waiting area or line. Nope, somehow there’s not an appointment for 2 hours even though I’m the ONLY customer so I would need to go kick rocks for two hours if I wanted a flu shot. Hard pass. I won’t be back. Willing to bet CVS or HEB won’t make me wait two hours for absolutely no reason for something that simple if I’m the only customer there. This isn’t how you take care of customers.

Had scheduled vaccination appointments (not walk-ins), arrived 15 minutes early to check-in. 45 minutes AFTER check-in (30 minutes after scheduled appointment) asked for an update and was told the vaccines were being mixed and that it takes time. 1 hour AFTER check-in (45 minutes after scheduled appointment time) we left.No-one else waiting for vaccines. Customers needing pharmacy service varied from 0 to 3 maximum so it wasn't like they were swamped with actual customer service issues. I have no doubt that the prescription filling side was busy in the back but then 1. Why schedule appointments? 2. Why not keep customers informed as to what is transpiring?

I would give this location zero stars if I could. Called and was repeatedly placed back on hold, despite mentioning we just had a quick question. Would have taken 15 seconds if they bothered to listen. Instead, we were repeatedly placed on hold for 45 minutes and hung up on without even answering the phone. Completely unprofessional. Either staff your locations properly or get rid of employees that don't want to work. Zero stars!

I am so fond of this Walgreens pharmacy location. The pharmacist, Juan, is the best. He is always helpful and explains new medications. I actually got a follow up phone call to see how a new medication was working out. Now, that’s service, and very rare!!

I placed an order for photos, and I received an email that said my photos would be ready at a certain time. When I got there at the time indicated, they said my photos had not yet been printed, and that they were backed up. They told me to come back in thirty minutes. When I came back, an associate that I asked about my photos said to get in line. A line that was taking forever . When I got to the counter they told me they were unable to print my photos. And the chunky guy who had helped me earlier watched me wait in line for no reason just to tell the other associate that the machine was broken. I’m not even mad the photos didn’t print. The employees attitude just sucks and they could have not wasted my time.

Change in hours is too restrictive. I had to call them to see why they couldn’t complete my entire prescription. They didn’t have any more of the med in stock and I asked to confirm that it wouldn’t be in stock until November 30th (email stated 11/30) leaving me 2 days with no meds. She confirmed and told me to try another location. Called another location and they answered immediately, the guy was very nice, and since the script was in progress, he called them, got the pharmacist immediately who said no, we get it today and can have it ready today. And, a few months ago, the pharmacist asked if I would like to talk to her about my prescription. I politely said no and she gave me the dirtiest look and walked away. Done. Sucks because it’s a convenient location.

Love this store!!! The pharmacy staff is awesome especially the female pharmacist there .She is courteous, kind, and patient!!!! They get your prescriptions out in a timely manner. Every time I’ve called and had to switch my medications to this pharmacy, they have been very helpful. We went to go get our flu shots today. While, it was a little wait, the pharmacist got us in and out quickly.

I have always used Walgreens but sadly this location sucks. They’re not open Saturday or Sunday anymore and a lot of times during the week they close as early as 5 pm even though their posted hours are different. Their lines are long and for those of us who work M-F schedules is a headache trying to get our prescriptions. I recommend you use any pharmacy but this one. They should call themselves a convenience store not a pharmacy.

At the corner of Lazy and DGAF my prescription was done at 520pm well they close 6pm. Called to see if I can transfer the prescription. On hold for 30 minutes. Hung up. Waste of time. Did not get my prescription from another pharmacy

The worst Walgreens I have ever been to. The manager lacks professionalism. She needs to take an etiquette class. Pharmacy staff is a reflection of her leadership. Only positive is the store looks modern. I would kindly take my business back to the Military/1604 location for now on. Stay away from this store!!

Pharmacists are very rude and impatient. When I had questions about my meds and insurance the pharmacist had a condescending tone and she was very unprofessional. Not at all what I expect from a retail pharmacist. Other people who waited in line were treated poorly as well or had problems with their refills as well. One customer explained that it was the fifth time she had attempted to pick up the prescription. This is definitely my last trip to Walgreens

I visted store on Nover 23rd in the evening. Reason why I am now posing because I realize I review wrong location. Disappointed with staff... one needed help looking for children's mucinex that states is in stock online, all I was given was directions on what aisle to find it at, and two cashier could not scan an item and I volunteered that I can go check on price but he asked manager or assistant and ended up "taking care" of it only to find out Children's Flonase was charging me $24, I then ask if I can switch it to less expensive one and as I went back it clearly is listed for $18.49. Took a picture to let cashier know but he ended up charging me .50 cents more at $18.99. I clearly said $18.49 and ask if he can correct price but all I got was a sorry. Any who left with my items and I know it's only .50 cents difference but it's the principle. Please Know your product and your inventory that's all I ask

Just waited on hold for 45 minutes to speak to someone in the pharmacy. Pretty frustrating that I had to wait that long for one question. Question being that I needed to transfer a medication from them( my nearest Walgreens) to one out of state since we are traveling. Answer to their question when they finally answered: call the other pharmacy. Absolutely frustrated to have wasted my time.

Recently had prescriptions called in, came in to get them and only two were there, they said they would have to order the third. Not a big deal, so I said okay. Then I never got a call that it was in or ready so I called and they said, yes, it’s ready. I go to pick it up and it’s the wrong medication and the wrong prescribing doctor, I returned it and they said they would order the correct one. I called three days letter to check on it and they never ordered it, and had no idea what I was talking about. I asked if they could please order it as I was already behind 1.5 weeks on the medication, after that I once again never got a call so when I called back they said they didn’t order it (for the third time) and the prescription was “cancelled on their end” and that I would have to call my doctor to get the script re-sent. Not to mention every time I call I’m put on hold for at least 5 minutes. Every experience at this Walgreens specifically has been so frustrating, I’ve already transferred my prescriptions and I will not be returning. Disclaimer: I am super easy going and never get frustrated at customer service staff; I’ve been there and know the struggle - but this has been ridiculous.

Great service, but who closes every day from 1:30-2 PM for a "meal break"? Isn't that why 99% of businesses stagger employees' lunch breaks so there's always someone to tend to customers? Just my 2 cents, Walgreens. Reminds me of "siesta" time in Spain.

Called and said my wife's prescription was ready. Couple days later I went to pick it up. The gentleman at the desk said it was ready and he would go grab it. After waiting 10 min he comes back to tell me that they can't find it. Nice employees but how can you lose a prescription?

Used to get my Rx at CVS but due to insurance reasons had to switch to Walgreens. Although i've not had a "bad" experience it for sure isn't as good as CVS. I have to wait way longer to have an RX filled and also wait in line and on the phone way longer just to speak to someone.

Pharmacy staff here has always been very nice to me. The pharmacy manager here is very professional and nice and goes out of his way to help out customers. The pharmacy his also very clean.

Absolutely the nicest Walgreens I've been to. The pharmacist is WOW , she makes sure that I know everything I need to know about medications. She also has brought up concerns about prescriptions. She's great at what she does!

Yet another walgreens that sees my insurance card and doesn't want to do the work associated with allowing me to have prescription coverage. You have to dial an 800 number to get my personal insurance number. It is just too much work for them.

If I could give zero stars I would. Customer service is HORRIBLE! A photo gift I ordered was to be done at 2:40 PM, still isn’t done at almost 6:00 PM. When the staff was asked about it, they said they couldn’t find it, then said they would remake it. Then they walk away, come back miss around, walk away again, then go mess around again. Just all around horrible service, find a different Walgreens location.

Nice place, clean and new. Very convenient for us end of Potranco dwellers. I prefer this one to the CVS down the road. While the prices are a bit more than say a Walmart it more than makes up for it in convenience and not having to trapse all over Walmart for children's cough medicine
