Ray Wilcox, was an absolutely INCREDIBLE help, I purchased a very tricky prepaid card there, and I couldn't access the money at first, when I started to seem worried, ray looked me in the eye n said, "hay bro, don't worry thats your money, U WILL get it, this man kept his word, and saved the day, I was afraid they'd turn me away, but it was the complete opposite he went way out of his way to help me activate it, I have a place to stay the night now because he cares an is a good MAN, he even gave me a chair to sit while I did it!

Best pharmacy staff!!! Ease if your ever out of town come to this pharmacy they are very helpful. Mind you they are closed on the weekends and are open 9-6 closed for lunch from 1:30-2.

Special thanks to Adam Herrera who went above and beyond to find a lost order of film that was irreplaceable from the 1990s. He made a lot of calls and checked everything and called me a few hours later.Great job Adam!

If you think that no one can get your prescriptions either wrong or at the time specified, give this place a try, I have only ever used this place, and they have gone down hill the past 2 years, I understand the Covid frustrations, no reason to be rude, when on payroll. I went back 3 times in one day, the pills were still not ready.. come to find out they were hiding in the back, I guess, again that’s not my fault. Another time I went inside, which was just as bad as the drive thru service, a elderly gentleman was having a problem hearing, no they just didn’t raise their voice, they were yelling at him and rudely, I was so angry, I wanted to apologize to the man, there was no reason for that, I went a last year to ask about the booster shot, the lady that day didn’t even want to give me information, she told me to go on the website.. I felt like I drove over here, parked, came in the store and walked all the way back here to get information, and in return be told to go on the website. Anyway the problems have been stacking up, I’ve been thinking about changing to heb pharmacy.. I wanted to write the review to see if things change or get worse.

My husband and I have been to several Walgreens Pharmacies in San Antonio. We have never encountered such a professional pharmacist and pharmacist assistant-we just love them‼️ They are absolutely amazing people and so knowledgeable. They go out of their way to make sure you understand the medicines prescribed. Walgreens should be very happy to have these two professionals on their staff‼️ I hope they do everything to keep them‼️

Considering the side of town this Walgreens is at the staff is super accommodating and very kind. Just watch out for all the pan handlers.

This review is specifically for the Fedex drop-off & pick-up services provided at this location. I dropped a package off there for pickup. Five days later, I checked the status of the package and it was still sitting at Walgreens. When I called the store, they just told me that Fedex only stops there from time to time, they don't come every day. It would be nice if they told you that up front. The package should be with the recipient by now, instead, it's still sitting there waiting to be picked up.

This Walgreens is very convenient especially if you are staying at the Home 2 Suites hotel located across the street. We were able to walk in 2 minutes before they closed to grab a few beverages and the staff was nice and pleasant. The coffee/ drink bar area was a little dirty but, not terrible.My favorite part of this Walgreens however is outside. I love the vintage style of the sign!!!

The pharmacists at this location are extremely nice and helpful. They are closed on the weekends, so you have to work around that schedule, but they really seem to care about the customers and have always helped me get the medications I need.

The location is unique. I haven't been too many places where they have a pharmacy in the middle of a town. It's a good place to go when you need to in an emergency to get medication over the counter

I went to Walgreens during my lunch break specifically for the Diet Coke Feisty Cherry, because I knew I had seen them there before. I was talking with my friends and there was an employee(I want to say he was a manager) who over heard me talking about it because I didn't see them in the cooler with all the other sodas. He said "oh, my store discontinued them." I told him thank you. We were walking out and he comes running to the front of the store with a case he found in the back. I thought this was the sweetest thing ever. We need more people like him in this world. I want to say his name was Joseph, not entirely sure. Made my day! Thank you!

they do not respect the established schedule. It seems that they have a reservation to the right of admission because they will not allow me to enter myself without any reason. the employees including the plump manager was very disrespectful when telling me that they closed an hour before due to not having staff. Don't try to lose your time come to this walgreen

I always get the best customer service and I can also find everything I am looking for, if I can’t find it I will just ask and a store employee is eager and willing to help me out. Best store in the downtown area.

This is a very conveniently located store and their prices are actually very good compared to other places downtown. Sometimes you get bombarded with people standing outside asking for money but other than that these guys are great. Employees are very friendly too.

Called to see if they were open and the answering machine said they closed at 9:00pm. So I went by and the doors were locked and closed. It was around 7pm, then there is a small sign that says they close at 6pm. Yet the outside lights and sign was still on. UPDATE YOUR HOURS!

This Walgreens sports this eye catching neon sign they've just replaced and renovated, perfect for taking some nice photos of downtown.Other than that, well, it's a Walgreens, kind of overpriced, kind of freaky even.

I suggest if you live downtown not to use the pharmacy, it is closed for the weekend and they do not make an effort to accommodate customer needs.The pharmacy hadn't closed yet but refused to assist customer although they could clearly assist previous customer.
